Got screwed

I ordered a T-shirt and a hoodie. Well I got the T-shirt but they never sent the hoodie but they took my money for it. So I paid $75.00 for a t-shirt. I contacted them several times but they did nothing but gave me excuses why they have not sent it. They would have had a good customer from me. Never again will I order anything from them.

Horrible shirt/ Horrible customer service

Ordered several things on two separate occasions. First order I had to send back a bad fitting sweatshirt that fit like it was a factory second or reject! I'm still waiting for that refund!
I ordered again and one long sleeve shirt was about 4 inches shorter on each sleeve compared with other long sleeve I bought and wasn't as wide or long. Customer service will not return any of my emails. Do not buy from this company. I never will again.

The ordering process was great and customer service. However, you have to pay to send the super small sweatshirt back. I paid $40 for the sweatshirt and I paid $15 just to send the large sweatshirt, that was the size of a small. I don't recommend this website at all, unless they give you free returns.

I do apologize for any frustrations caused. If the item you received did not match the size chart you would not need to send it back. We would just need a picture of the item with the measurements. If it does match we do ask that our customers pay to ship the item to us and we will pay to ship the new item back to you. We ask this because we will cover the item for life! We offer labels for $9.95 and for one item you can typically purchase labels at a cheaper price with USPS or UPS.

BUYER BEWARE

This company feigns patriotism however they are pure snakes in the grass who will bleed a nickel from you around every turn! MAKE SURE the size you buy fits! Do not go off of reviews or conversations with their staff. Use the inept size guide (which doesn't include arm length or neck to waist length) just take a shot in the dark! If it doesn't fit be prepared to spend money to give them their product back in the hopes the next size actually does fit. Want to think ahead and simply buy the next size so you can have both products side by side and make a sound decision before you send it back? Sure! However, if you had a coupon code they will NOT match it on the new purchase – you will actually spend more! And then… then you will have to spend to send one back! This company falsely stands on the idea it takes care of people especially those in the military. It DOES not. It fakes it to get you to buy and then traps you, ignores you, and simply says "I'm sorry YOU fell that way". Their customer service is lacking and after speaking to the manager Soshie I can understand how it trickles down. So, to all of you would be customers I truly hope you get the right size the FIRST time or else be prepared to SPEND! Better yet go to a REPUTABLE company who doesn't use gimmicks in a frail attempt to stay in business using a "Military ploy". A company's character and longevity are shown through how they treat their customers not the fake premise they stand on.

Where is my order?

I ordered a USAF baseball cap from this company, 6 weeks ago. I received ONE email telling me that my order was received. 6 weeks later, multiple emails about what has happened to my order, and NOTHING! ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! No response from ANYONE in their company, no hat, NADA! To say that l'm pissed, is an understatement! Save yourself the grief. DO NOT purchase ANYTHING from them! Customer service? Where? Nothing! Absolutely disgusting!

Beware the beer guarantee!

Bought several items before deploying for 3+ months. One item was defective upon delivery. Didn't have time to return before leaving the country. No indication it mattered. When I returned home, tried to get shirt replaced. Was going to cost me $9.99 after I called company. I asked why. Was told that after 30 days beer guarantee kicks in and I'm sh! T out of luck unless I want to pay $9.99 to send in shirt. Neck was not sewn to the front of the shirt body. Pretty crappy construction. Called customer service many times, ran it up the chain to supervisor, all said I'm dead in the water even though product delivered defective. I mentioned that the paper that comes with package makes no mention of the 30 day window, nor does the website under customer service. I told them I thought these were deceptive practices after the company told me that this exception was not listed anywhere…only internal policy. Bottom line: I'm not spending good money after bad…$10 to send in a crappy shirt that came to me defective when the shirt cost less than $20. However, the lack of owning up to a defective product outside of their internal policy, lack of support for the veterans they are supposed to be supporting, and lack of transparency on the 30 free return policy for defective merchandise cause me to rescind my support for this company. The way I was treated on the phone and in email was abominable. I'm done with this company. Beware their veteran friendly reputation! Since then, I've had two other shirts separate at the collar, but I'm not going to bother. Just beware of low quality product. If you wear these and wash these, you WILL be spending money to send your items back. RIP, Grunt Style.

I do apologize for any confusion or frustration. It is stated on our website that after 60 days items are only eligible for the Beer Guarantee and that you would need to pay to ship the items back. 9.99 is what we charge for a label but you are free to try another shipping carrier to find a cheaper label. Also, you claimed you had a few defective items. Some were from about 4 months ago and some were from a year ago. These would not be considered a defective after this amount of time. I apologize that you feel the supervisor you spoke with was not helpful, although I do not see how he could have been since you repeatedly hung up on him. You are still able to send any item back to us with our Beer Guarantee for a swap or a gift card regardless of how long you have had it.

Bad customer service

I really enjoy patriotic shirts and buy them regularly and was very excited to receive this shirt worn flag XL, at first glance and feel the material felt great and the graphics where very nice but as soon as I put it on I felt like I was being suffocated I wear XL and whenever I order XLs they feel great this one was difficult to put on so I had my brother who wears a mix of L and Ms and he didn't even fit in the shirt! I emailed their customer service and they essentially told me it was my fault for not measuring myself prior to purchasing the shirt and told me in order to EXCHANGE the shirt I'd need to measure out the entire shirt. I will no longer be buying ANY shirts from this company and I'd advise the same for anyone else.

Quality is garbage

I have many shirts I've bought throughout the years. However, my recent purchases have produced terrible quality shirts. They shrink more than usual and the stitching is mediocre at best. This company has turned for the worst (corporate). Avoid at all costs.

I will no longer be a customer. This is a follow-up to my initial review on 6/7/22.
I ordered two 2XL shirts that cost me $63.25, the shirts were skintight. I paid $16.25 for packaging and postage to return / exchange the shirts for 3XL. I subsequently received two new shirts that say XXXLARGE on the collar. While one of the XXX shirts is now the same size as all my other 2XL shirts and fits, the second shirt, which also says XXX is 2 ¼" narrower than the other shirt and is again, too tight. To date I've paid $79.50 and have one T-Shirt to show for it and have wasted a considerable amount of travel & time trying to exchange them. I won't waist the time and money to return / exchange the shirt again. I'm done. As a veteran, I was hoping these shirts would become my new norm but, disappointed that's not going to happen.
The photos show one shirt on top of the other. At the sleeve seams, you can see they are different by 2 ¼". The width of the shirt itself is also obviously narrower.
NOTE: Grunt Style responded to my first review and said they "provide size charts on every item"… I reviewed these charts, and they are exactly the same for both of these shirts however, they are nowhere close to being the same size.

I have ordered many shirts from GruntStyle and they are always different sizes. Customer service advised that they use different vendors from multiple countries (mine were form Honduras and Indonesia). My last order had five shirts in it and only two of them fit. I was advised that I would need to take pictures of the exact measurements and send it to them. I don't have the time to mess around with that so that will be my last order.

Nightmare

As a veteran I really dug a lot of their attire so I decided to sign up for the membership back around 2 years ago. $22 a month and I get a nifty shirt every month. At first everything was great up until I went to cancel my subscription. First off can't quit through app nor via website, have to call or email. So several months back emailed them with my account number saying that I wanted to cancel. Several days later got a response back saying "that they are sorry to see me go but they could give me a month or two for free." I responded back with no thank you just cancel the subscription. No further response and I think it's all done... Nope that time of the month rolls around and there it is $22 gruntstyle charge on my statement. Email them again and yet again get the same "sorry to see you go" nonsense. Do I have to have a lawyer spell it out to you cancel my God damn subscription. Took multiple phone calls to finally get through to a human on the phone to cancel stay away. Better companies out there like nine line that are actually veteran owned.

I joined their shirt of the month club. After over a year, I decided to cancel it because the shirts were not something my husband really wanted to wear -- too cutesy for him. I emailed them on December 30,2021, to cancel my membership. I was told that they had already generated the "invoice" so I would have to get another shirt but that would be the final invoice -- at the end of January. In that email they asked if I wanted to skip 1-3 months. Nowhere in the email did it require me to respond to them. However, they again charged me this month -- today! Two months after I canceled! And they are refusing to refund my money for a shirt I don't want. They are telling me I can send it back and then they will refund me -- and they haven't shipped it yet! What idiot customer service is this? I don't understand why you would want to send a customer something they don't want. I would NEVER do that to my customers! Do not get anything from this company! Their quality has gone down and their customer service is horrible! I would not recommend them to anyone!

THE CLOTHING HAS BECOME SO CHEAP, PILLS EASILY, AND SO SMALL! A MENS MEDIUM DIDNT FIT A 5'3 GIRL WHO IS 100 POUNDS. THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE DID NOTHING TO HELP. COULDNT EVEN GET OUR NAME RIGHT WHEN CONTACTING (ITS LISTED ON ORDER AND ON EMAIL). NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!

Terrible quality
December 31, 2021

My daughter got me a Marine Corp hoodie a week ago for Christmas from Gruntstyle. One washing and the front pocket is coming apart in two areas. I have purchased from them myself and know that the quality has gone down hill. They have a guarantee on their clothing but you have to fill out a form and pay for the postage to send it back. Their items are way too expensive to be as bad of quality that they are.

We placed an order for 8 T-shirts, 6 of them were great, standard sizing and no issues, however two of the shirts were foreign made and were substantially smaller than the others in same size. The company acknowledged the defect of items, but will ONLY exchange for the same exact item and told us if we experience the same issue, they will not exchange again. The shirts measure over two inches more narrow than the other shirts received in same exact size. These should be refunded or exchanged for an item they can guarantee, rather than, we get shirts from different vendors and this is a vendor issue. Their vendor issue just became my issue!
