I ordered from krab Kings threw grub hub the driver knocks on my door I got up to go get my food and he's parked in front of my house then drive off and they updated the system saying that my order was delivered they don't deserve one star they trash the worst I've ever seen
I received gift cards through my college to get through my required hotel quarantine, and 2 orders were cancelled. I was supposed to receive two refunds, but GrubHub kept telling me that they had confirmation that the orders were refunded. I did the math on my side multiple times, but they refused to double check the discrepancies. I spent hours on the phone and online with customer support, only for them to give me a $25 gift card even though I lost more than that amount. I spent time I could have used doing homework and studying, but instead fought with multiple customer service employees. GrubHub is sleazy at best, and I'm quite honestly shocked that I haven't popped a blood vessel due to their horrendous customer service.
I ordered $53 order from Cupcakes & More and Nyima the driver delivered a box (can you guess - they were supposed to be cupcakes). The cupcakes were turned over, frosting near melted; a large glob of cake and mixed frosting... Happy Birthday indeed. The Bakery "well we put a liner/rack in the box, it's not our fault." The driver: "I put them in a cooler box, I have a clean heart." Well maybe turning a cupcake box on end to put it in a cooler was not the best move regardless of your heart. Bakery and driver with no apology - neither one bothered with an "I am so sorry." no, " let us make it right" -- a blame game. How nice they are both paid, grubhub gets the delivery fee and the damn driver gets a tip for poor service! I will never use either service again. Had some big birthdays and anniversaries coming up, I order for local businesses all the time - not going to be from Cupcakes and More.
I have no luck with these food apps. Every time I order something goes wrong. This time a half an hour after I order they cancel my order. First they email and say the restaurant is out of an item, then they call and say the restaurant never got the order. Which is it? And it's 1 o'clock in the afternoon, I doubt Panda Express ran out of beef and broccoli. Last time I order from grub hub it took 2 and a 1/2 hours. The restaurant is 12 minutes away and my food was so cold it was sad. They are terrible.
I order a very simple order and it's now going on an hour and a half and it's still not here. Customer service was okay... I received a coupon for next time... that's funny.
The Absolute worst customer service. Stay with Uber eats or Door Dash. Grub Hub has no concept of customer service.
I ORDERED FOOD ON AUGUST 15TH 2020, I received a disorganized salad and no shrimp, I called the Owner of Aron Pizza and she asked me to call GrubHub for my refund, I did many times and these cheap lying people paid me 5 dollars, never ever gave me the rest of my money, They need to be shut down!
So let me tell you about this service. It is the WORST service known to man. They are rude, they are liars they are money stealing and they do not help you at all.
I have had issues with grubhub for a very long time. I stopped using their products for about 4 years. I recently went back on it because of Covid19. Within 3 months I was reminded on why I left them.
I placed a order August 25th 2020. The order was 2 hours late and it cost me over 60 bucks. I called grubhub and they said they cant reach the place so I should call and they would give me a 20% discount on my next order.
I right away had a gut feeling I should have NEVER used their service. About 3 hours after I made my order they finally came.
Dumb me tried to order again from Grubhub because I had a 20% discount. My order kept getting refunded and would never go thru. I called the customer service and they had no idea what is going on. 3 days later I get a email that they said maybe it was not me but some how my bank on my debit card reported fraud to the last transaction ( btw there was no transaction it kept not going thru... the order before that is on my bank statement. It went thru so I am not sure what they are talking about) they said they are blocking me from all their services
This email reminded me of another email they sent me over 4 years ago claiming I claimed fraud on my account which I never did. Come to find out they did this to a few other people I have seen on sites ect... I have ENOUGH money to feed me and my building if I felt like it... I do not claim fraud on anything, nor have I ever done that.
Grubhub sent me a discount than conviently claimed fraud so I lose the discount and they blocked me from all their services
Well thank you GrubHub I will NEVER use your service and thank god I work in the movie industry because I will make sure the studios I work for ( which are pretty big studios) do NOT use your service when we need to order food...
I am sad Lord & Taylor is now out of business but GrubHub is still around? God Bless.
Grubhub is overpriced, my deliveries are always late/food never hot and their customer service is terrible. DoorDash is a million times better!
I work in a restaurant where someone from the GrubHub company phones in an order. Their drivers are always over an hour late to pick up the food and sometimes they do not even show up. Tried calling the company phone to ask about where their driver is and no one answers. Very unreliable and try to promote themselves in any way they can. If you are trying to call for delivery from a restaurant, I would suggest you call that restaurant directly. It will be faster and you are guaranteed to actually receive your order.
I ordered food from this. Company and I only live 20 minutes from the restaurant. I'm home sick and hadn't eaten all day. I ordered at 3:44 pm. At. 4:30 I called the bus and they said my order was sitting on the counter. After 2 drivers and an hour and a half I get soggy cold chicken a dried out biscuit. I'll never use them again. My meal was $10 but I paid $21 to get it. Not worth it.
10 minutes from restaurant took over 30 minute from time of pick up. Driver went to locations 25 minutes from us before we got our order. Now for some unexplained reason tonight's order just cancelled about the time it was to be delivered. Never again removing the app worthless.
I ordered a pizza from one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Aventura. I ordered a "build your own" with pepperoni, mushrooms and gorgonzola. What I got delivered was a crust with tomato sauce. When I called the driver thinking he delivered the wrong pizza, he informed me he can only see orders partly on his phone app and he can not see the ingredients I wanted. First of all, I didn't realize my order does not immediately go through the restaurant and second of all, how can you run this service when you don't have the proper equipment to do so. Grubhub has been totally unresponsive and I am still waiting for a refund. NEVER AGAIN!
Possibly the worst business, and business idea that ive ever encounted. Its amazing to me they still exist.
Last night we waited almost two hours for our food before cancelling. We get it. We're in a pandemic and restaurants are overwhelmed and perhaps GrubHub doesn't have enough drivers. That is the only thing we could think of last night as our food was at first 30 minutes late. Then a notification for an hour. Then 90 minutes. And eventually when they said our meals would arrive at 8:30 pm, when I put the order in at 6:30 pm we decided to cancel. Our baby needed to go to bed, my husband was starving, so he made a run for Taco Bell and we were ticked. I talked to GrubHub that apologized and only offered to either have the food delivered still in 30minutes, or they could refund me the money and the food would stay at the restaurant. As a business owner myself who deals with customers everyday I'll say that a better response to our complaint would of been to have the food delivered and they'd refund us some money for our wasted time. 25% would of been fine. Even 20%. On a 76.00 older that's only 14.00. But those were are only two options. Refund or pay in full. Horrible customer service. We live in Boulder and have another company called HungryBuffs which we'll be returning to. They are family owned and also alert the customer if there's not enough drivers and to put their order in later so they're not surprised in having to wait. I do not recommend Grubhub, simply cause of their response which was very unprofessional and selfish.
Ordered from a restaurant and only half my food was delivered. Had to go to restaurant and pick up rest and customer service sucked. Will never use Grubhub again. Delivery fee and service fee outrageous. What I received and paid for is not acceptable
I used grubhub for the first time and last time. When I see my delivery time kept going up, I called and cancel my order. Here I still havent got my refund. It been about 2 weeks. Never again I will use grubhub.
First and last tine I'll ever be using this "service," if you could even call it that. I'm unsure how this company is stil even in business.
The order was due to be delivered by a certain time, but doesnt come. Call to confirm the order went out, and I was told by the restaurant that it did. I recieved a text message that said the driver would be here 20 minutes after the original delivery time and would text when the order was delivered. I was already agitated, especially with a hungry 2 year old. I check the delivery tracker and it says my order has been delivered at my dooe, which it definitely has not. The 20 minutes-past-original-delivery-time comes and goes and I call the restaurant and they inform me that I need to call grub hub, as once they leave with the order there no way they can track the order anymore.
First off. I had to dig to find the customer service number and the lady was no help, just said she'd call the driver and he didn't answer. At this point it was 35 minutes past and all she said was that she would refund and cancel the order and I could reorder. WHAT A JOKE! I had already waited over and hour and 15 minutes by then. NEVER AGAIN. Crap company, with crap customer service, who's drivers run off with your food and still have jobs.
First time using grubhub/seamless and everything seemed to be just like any other delivery service. I added in the notes to just drop the food at the door. The driver arrived at 8:53 pm at my house. She sat in her car until 8:57 pm and then left. On the order form online it said the food was delivered. I used the contact number on the order form to call her. When she answered I said " I noticed it says the food was delivered can you tell me where you dropped it as I don't see anything", she immediately went off raising her voice and telling me that she waited there for 20 minutes. I asked why didn't she just drop the food at the door like the instructions said and she said because I didn't answer my phone. I asked if she was going to turn around as I immediately called her once she left and she was still in the neighborhood. She said no, I missed my delivery and hung up!? I have cameras outside my house that show the exact time she pulled up and left. I have no missed calls or texts so I reached out to consumer support. They in turn reached out to the driver and after sitting on hold for 10 minutes got back to me with, "So the driver said she waited at her house for 20 minutes and called you, she left because you never responded. This is what we will do for you, I'll give you 25% off your next order." I asked the customer care about the refund for the food I didn't get and she said since I missed the driver and didn't answer my phone they weren't going to refund me the money. I proceeded to tell her I'll pull my phone records and video surveillance to give to my attorney to solve this. She responded, "Well if you're going to go that route then I will issue the refund for your purchase tonight." I was unbelievably upset at the unprofessional-ism of this company. I will NEVER use this service or grub hub again and will make sure everyone I know, knows how awful of a service this is.
I have deli store in Ruckersville VA and today we got a call from customer who wanted to order a sandwich we do not sell when we asked customer where did they get that information they said from grubhub and when we went to Grubhub website we found out that Grubhub set up a fake account for us with all the wrong information and when I called to ask them to put this account down they said they need my personal information to close this account. The person was extremely rude on the phone and was threatening me that she will disconnect the call if I don't listen to her. I eventually hung up after wasting 15 minutes of my time. Extremely ill-mannered staff and illegal business practices. Stay away from this business
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
