I place an order "No Onions" - HOWEVER., a full sandwich covered in onions.
NO straws included for drinks
AND the driver didn't even knock!
This is the first and last time I do that
Had a big order and placed it for delivery and never got the food. Ended up picking up the now cold food my self. Don't bother complaining there customer service sucks you get a guy in India! I'll never use again
So I ordered dinner for the whole family. We didn't receive 2 of the dishes ordered. Called grubhub and they wouldn't even send their driver back to pick up the food that was just sitting at the restaurant. I ended up going to get the food myself. Terrible experience. The customer service rep and manager were so rude. Treated me like it was somehow my fault. Cancel my membership while on the phone with manager. He would rather have lost me as a customer than have the driver bring the rest of my order. So see ya Grubhub.
Gh only works because people buy $#*! off of it. What makes it suck is that the lack of money you should have at the end of the day/night. The tips are never enough - you end up poor because you don't have a company car. In years past i believe grubhub paid out more. It really isn't about the pay though, they just don't give a squirt of piss about you. Just your typical corporation. And you are a typical foot soldier for some ahole corporation. Profits matter more to the corporation as a whole than for the employed. I also would like to add the lack of civil rights grubhub posses. They are your typical sellouts to big government. Imagine siding with big brother instead of siding with your workers - your typical corporation. Lack of civil rights you say? Yes, of course you want to learn specifics. This applies to every corporate communist piece of $#*! company muzzling workers. Dear CEOs - choke on CO2 while choking on millions of germs for 8 hrs a day. Civil rights will prevail commy world. Just learn the words of martin luther king. Don't do what is popular, don't do what is politic, DO WHAT IS RIGHT
They didn't deliver and I was on the phone for an hour then they didn't refund me for two weeks! I had to call them back to get the refund...
I had a young gentleman deliver my food I left a nice tip because it's cold out lol but very pleasant experience left food with exactly where I asked and really appreciate it. Very good communication. I will use again
Got the 1st order, the last 3 never made it to my doorstep. Their response? Your banned, because we think you are a thief. I have proof Doordash, Slice, and Uber eats struggle to get to my house even though they always make it to tell me in person. My location isnt difficult, secluded, or require instructions for entry, all the houses just look the same which was enough to fool Grubhub somehow with only 1 of those drivers taking a picture for verification. No one can tell whose porch its on without it or the house number in the picture. Even my neighbor on a completely different street is aware because he got all my food. I had COVID and in an attempt to be responsible and not leave the house, I starved half a day waiting for food that never arrived. I Call customer service for them to tell me they will fix it and they didnt. Called again to find out my ban is unappealable. $#*! Grubhub. They probably dont know I'm black, but the assumption with no proof that I'm stealing from them infuriates me. I saved the pictures drivers took so I can find which porch they been leavin my food by comparing background items in these pictures. (The first picture is the very first order that made it, the text afterwards is the second order that didnt make it with no picture either.
Do you want your order to be correct and delivered to the right location? Save yourself the trouble and don't waste your time or money on this service. The times that my orders have been incorrect are more numerable than the times they have been correct. I've lost count of how many times my food got delivered to the wrong building, had the wrong order delivered, or a partial delivery. I'm going back to ordering from restaurants directly, the delivery fees will be a better value for the money. Customer service is hard to reach, even through the app, and I never get anything in exchange for the inconvenience. My favorite example is when I didn't get my food delivered and when I called they said they'd refund my items, but that didn't include the taxes or the tip. Had to argue with the representative for 10 minutes to get a full refund for the order I never received. Drivers are generally directionally challenged, at least in Chicago, and argumentative on the phone.
My driver picked up my food. About 10 minutes later I get a message saying there is a delay. 20 more minutes go by. I send a quick message asking if there is a problem as I can see she is stopped a few blocks away and has been for about 15 minutes. About 5 minutes later she responds that she will arrive in 5 minutes. I wait... and wait. 15 minutes later I look outside and sitting on the ground on my porch is my food. No knock, no anything. You can see my notes clearly ask to at least hang my food on the door and knock. My food has already been sitting so now the hot food is cold and the cold food is warm. I send a message to the driver and state that I am surprised she left my food on the ground and didn't even knock as its right on the notes and send a pic of the receipt taped to the bag! She responds with a barrage of insults calling me a rude man (im a woman) accusing me of treating her like a maid (because I expected her to do her job and calling me a "$#*!ty. American"! I guess she forgot she is living in America and working for an American Company while being paid by Americans. Probably not paying American taxes though. When I called GrubHub to complain I assumed they would immediately pull her off the road. They simply said they were laity for the inconvenience". I imagine if I was in any other environment and was talked to by an employee like that they would be given the boot so quickly their head would spin. But apparently GrubHub supports this kind of behavior. So be on the lookout for this American hating driver. She's very entitled for someone who hates it here so much.
I waited over 40mins for my food to be deliver and then GRUBHUB has the audacity to CANCEL just like that. This is unacceptable and unbelievable! Good Bye GRUBHUB! Never again will I order from you...
Terrible! The delivery driver cancelled my order and told the restaurant that I cancelled the order. All because he didn't want to wait two minutes for the order to be ready. Started a chat w/Cust. Service. They gave me several lies blaming the restaurant. So the driver blames me, GrubHub blames the restaurant... unprofessional! Terrible!
This company is the perfect example of businesses still practicing slavery. All drivers are slaves. Get out when you can.
I don't use Grubhub often but the few times I have they have yet to get an order right. Plain burgers covered in $#*! I can't eat, then half my order is missing. Only refund items not shipping or anything else. Not my fault they can't read an order correctly or make sure they have it all before they leave. Funny Doordash does fine.
My driver (Christopher) decided to open up my package and ate my food leaving 3 small pieces in the bottom. Grubhub needs to address this. It's unsanitary and just plain gross that his fingers were all over my food. Just threw it out.
Update on a recent visit
* During the dinner time i lost a Gold chain ( bracelet) in the private room on 1/10/2021 b/w- 9:30 pm -10 pm.
* While asked me & frinds about the " lost item" management denied multiple times
( If ownership/ legal license authority/ share holders see this- please put a stop of scam by the staffing working there"
"Eventually i got the chain back by myself checking the camara! One of their staff stole my chain!
As Police department of New Hyde Park ( Restaurant legal premises law enforcement-was our next step)
But * no appoligize*no compensation*

( This review is from my experience from last 30 days with the above Restaurant & By United States law, for a restaurant or anyone else to succeed in a defamation lawsuit, the burden is on them to prove that what you say is (1) untrue, (2) staff felony
I ordered a meatball sub from Subway via Grubhub. I live in a 12 apartment building. It is 23 degrees outside this genius of a driver placed my food on the concrete OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING. He said via email he left food outside of my door I asked where he started it was outside of building. What kind of drivers does Grubhub hire? I give them 0 star review...
My order was to be delivered by 7:30 PM. I get a text about a complication & order has been canceled 10 minutes before delivery time.
Didn't get part of my order. It's early and they wouldn't send the driver back out to get it and they didn't even want to refund everything only what I didn't get.
I ordered for the manyth time from Grub Hub. This time, when I went to check out on my $49 order, my total check out price was $87! Wth? It was more convenient and cheaper to just pick it up... even by I Uber, than a %100 fee. Wth Grub Hub? Fast paced to out of business. A shame. I will add, I did have a tip included, but I woild have to get rid of the tip to avoid the charges. Only the company wins then, not the one grinding. I still paid the 20% tip, but I picked it up instead, and still saved almost 25 dollars!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
