I got 4 text with estimated time for delivery because it kept changing. Food was cold. Other food delivery service much better and not as expensive.
My first time ordering from Grub Hub was not a good experience. I've been loyal to Door Dash and they're usually pretty good with orders arriving on time and hot. Today, I chose Grub Hub since the restaurant I wanted wasn't offered with Door Dash. I was told my order would take over an hour to get here, no biggie, I can wait. I now realize its because Grub Hub waited to pick up my order. My food arrived cold, as if it had been sitting around for an hour, which leads me to my assumption that it wasn't picked up until almost an hour after placing my order. If restaurants start my order upon it being sent through the system, then Grub Hub needs to have a driver there within a reasonable amount of time so the food isn't cold. The best customer service would do is offer me a $10 off coupon, as if I'll ever order from them again. If this were Door Dash, they'd probably refund my entire order. Door Dash is WAY BETTER than Grub Hub. Seriously, don't waste your time if you want a warm meal. It seems that cold food is a common complaint with this company. I paid $47 for 2 Waffle House breakfasts with a large coffee. That was $25 of food and $22 worth of fees, tax, and tip. I'll try to hide my shock when Grub Hub inevitably tanks one day. What a waste. Never again!
I ordered food, but had someone else's order delivered to me, I contacted GrubHub and was told I'd be issued a refund. This was Jan 24, and it's now Feb 23. There is no mechanism to contact online (because I'm told I have no active orders). I suppose I'll use the toll free number, and hopefully they'll clean this up. Still, I doubt I'll use GrubHub again. VERY disappointed.
I can't connect GrubHub to my Facebook because everytime I do, I log on to some guy in Texas's account. I have access to all of his card and home information and have told GrubHub about this multiple times, yet it is never fixed. The guy never answers his phone when I do try to call him either. I would not trust this company with anything because it's been made blatantly clear to me that they don't give a damn if they give out other peoples information. If anybody knows a Zay Hilf off of Queen Dr in Texas, let him know!

I Am distraught and in tears ant just the evil involved in my Food order with these people and I don't honestly know if I'll even get anything back on my credit card and part of it is I was dealing with GrubHub and they are actually bought by another company die in Marin and anything that you deal with like one hand you know anyway they didn't credit they didn't put my free shipping or my coupon code and I simply asked them to do so and if it says also if it says call the restaurant on GrubHub it doesn't connect to the restaurant to connect to this horrible man and Bobby a timer and these companies you know get bought up by you know all the all the food deliveries are now bought up by one place and and I know a woman who works really hard for these delivering these food and she can't even get her paycheck half the time from from these companies but this whole thing now so I asked for just a discount I am not asked for a gift certificate on top of everything else so I can maybe order food again and they don't even know that the woman Grubhub doesn't get it and I mean I would also want to chat so when did you GrubHub next this is a nightmare yet I probably died the bullet with this restaurant you know because you know who knows what kind of disgusting $#*! that they put in their food or spit in it what a gross place I thought I'm not

There customer service supervisor is sooooo sorry that the drive didn't deliver my food. Its gonna take 3-5 days to get my money back... hmm but she will give me a 20 dollar credit towards my next order but i cant use it for taxes or deliver... RIDICULOUS
Ordered Grubhub for the family. An hour and a half later somebody called asking if we ‘still wanted our order.' Why wouldn't we want it? What the eff happened? We said yes and they said it would be delayed by twenty minutes. Over two hours later no dinner. I called back the number and it was a man at home on his couch. Grubhub cloned his number so it's impossible to contact them. Nearly 4 hours after I ordered the driver shows up and doesn't speak any English. Sauce is spilled all over the calamari making it a cold, super soggy, rubbery mess. Pizza was ok but that was to restaurant's credit. I will NEVER use this scam of a disgusting company EVER AGAIN. $60 for four slices of pizza and the rest we couldn't eat after 4 hours of being out. I cannot BELIEVE this company is still allowed to operate.
I'd honestly give Grubhub ZERO stars if it were an option. Placed an order on February 7. After 93 minutes and the reassignment of 3 drivers, GH cancelled my order. A full refund was promised "within 5 business days"... ask me if I've received a dime yet. The answer is NO. Furthermore, GH customer service is now claiming that the refund was "definitely issued" on Feb 7... my bank and I beg to differ. STAY AWAY.
I got on the chat to see why my order was canceled and after a long wait Alan C provided the worst customer service I've ever had in my life.
Grub hub stole my money. They claimed I ordered for pickup—why would I order through them for pickup? I ordered delivery and they took my money and didn't deliver.
I ordered as soon as the restaurant opened, the order was accepted and my charge card accepted. Valentines dinner from my favorite restaurant, terrific esp since I'm not walking these days due to a recent surgery.
I received a message that our meal will be 15-20 minutes late. My husband sets the table. I hour later I call the restaurant and ask to speak with manager confirm that the food order was received- he reports that no such order was received from Grubhub. I receive a phone call from Grubhub stating, just because you order food doesn't mean that you're going to get it" and I would have to wait up to 5 days to get a refund.
She stated that they never placed the order, my comment was then why send a delay message, if they never placed my order. I've deleted the app
I placed an order 4 hrs in advance to ensure there would be no issues. Of course I get the driver is running 45 minutes late 15 before the delivery time. After 2 more I'm running late I call Custer service who said yeah I'm sorry would you like to cancel the ordet... Stay far away- the service is a scam, they can take on as many deliveries as they like with no recourse to their actions.
Oder from here and order kfc and I see driver was getting close open my door and the driver handed my order to a person on the sidewalk. Didn't even come to my house. Contacted them and all they said well the driver was confused? Are u kidding me I deleted the app.

Burger was great. I ordered at the bar and got my food fast considering they make it fresh. So this isn't an ordinary burger. So not sure why a lot of pansies on here are complaining on prices. This isn't a happy meal. And delivery is pricy everywhere. Stores trying to survive a a historic virus. These people need to get off their rear ends and go get the burger if they're are going to $#*!. Spoiled brats. You won't die if you go get the burger bro. Anyways come to the Resteraunt. It's nice inside and people are pleasant. And we should support our service industry. And stop being a keyboard warrior. Be a grownup and if you have an issue, that's what managers are for.
Bad service and didn't get the food for a party. I will avoid this company and very unhappy. They didn't do anything about their mistake.
When ordering from Grubhub, I specifically requested that I receive sauces and plastic silverware, along with napkins, to go with my order. However, the driver does not appear to have even read my instructions, as I did not receive any of the sauces, including the ones that I had requested through the menu option. Moreover, I didn't receive a straw for my drink. I am not happy that my instructions weren't followed in full, especially given the fact that I spent nearly $40 on this order, which is $10-15 more than what I would have paid utilizing DoorDash.
It was our second time ordering from GrubHub the first time we picked up our order this time we had it delivered and we got 2 pizzas and they were made correctly and hot and fresh tasted really good delivery time was good too. However they do not pay attention to anything extra you put in the order details we said to please put 5 pizza sauces on the side and received none. Huge disappointment when you live for sauce and they don't even give you at least one lol it was extremely overpriced compared to door dash with taxes delivery fees etc. Also the website said we had a totally different driver than who actually delivered our order so if we even had a problem we wouldn't be able to contact them about it. Also the delivery driver was instructed to drop pizza off on front porch of apartment since we are in a pandemic rn but we walked out to come get it & he was walking away with our pizzas in his hand about to leave. If you are going to charge this much for the food delivery service etc. then at least hire reputable drivers that can read an order properly. So the people wont be disappointed with their order. So in all honestly would be better to order from door dash and save $20 the only reason we didn't do that was bc they don't have a section where you can special request sauce or other things on the side
Tried to order $24 worth of food from about 5 minutes away. After grubhubs taxes, "driver benefit fee", and tip the cost was over $50. It took an hour and a half for the food to finally arrive. Was advertised as "free delivery".
The "driver benefit fee" is supposedly so the drivers don't have to depend of tips, but then you're forced to also give a tip...
Why the heck anyone would use this service is a mystery to me.

Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.

Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
