Tried this again. Waited 1 hour and all of the main dishes were missing. Chatted with CS and the guy only wanted to refund part of the order, yet charge me over $30 for receive 2 sides salads I did not order, a scoop of rice and an side of fries. Tells me things are out of his control. Why force a chargeback when you have completely failed to execute any of the basics - like diever the food ordered.
THE ABSOLUTE WORST DELIVERY SERVICE IN THE WORLD! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM AND THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE WHEN THEY FORGET A MEAL! WILL NOT SEND ANYONE OUT AND BARELY REFUNDS ANYTHING! THEY SUCK!
I received an order that was just missing an item- not the whole meal. When I submitted it, it went across as the whole meal was missing. I reached out on help chat to let them know, as the whole meal was credited to me and I didn't think that was right. And the response I got? "You need to learn to be more careful when you click on an item." I was trying to do the right thing. What an $#*!!
Should be - 1 star. Terrible service with atrocious support. This "service" will allow drivers to say they delivered your order when not even in your area. 3 different times over the coarse of months resulted in the same issue. It was a large order that took longer than it should have. I watched the driver go the opposite direction AFTER receiving my order and stop somewhere for a brief time. Headed back in my direction but NEVER came anywhere near my street. Claimed delivery was completed but I was standing outside watching. Chatting with support did not help. They did not apologize for the blatant theft, would not re-deliver the food and said it would take a few days for my refund. They tried to give me a coupon for future use as if I will order from them EVER again. They wouldn't listen when I told them the driver had my food and did NOT even attempt to drive near my location.
These guys are a joke. What they charge food should be on time. Instead hr late then sent me a text said they're running behind. 30 mins later they just canceled my order. Not giving me any info why. Never again
Grubhub sucks. My order was screwed up a few months back and was supposed to get a refund and never received it. Ordered again today and never received my food. I will never ever use them again. They're not reliable.
I requested a pizza home delivery on 08/07/21 from Chicago Pizza Grub Hub took over from ok m there and proceeded to bang out unbelievable charges for the topping I requested. After my requests they then asked what amount of money I wanted to tip, I refused to participate in that request however Grub Hub assessed a 9.80 tip fee all of which was not reveled untill I provided my card information long story short the GRUBBED $64.93 for an average of. Pizza! I immediately hit the cancellation button which then went through an endless spinning cycle! I monitored the spinner for the next 90 minutes and then had a Ring alert which was the GH delivery person at my doot who ran to my door pressed the door bell dropped the Pizza box and literally ran to her car and sped off! What a flipping RIP OFF!
Did I say their customer service is horrible? Want to go and get 3 different answers to the same question from 3 different people? Grubhub customer service is just the place for you! Then at the end, even though they give you 3 completely conflicting answers you end up being screwed since none of the results you got were correct and they can't cancel orders for an order not even started yet, and not even supposed to be delivered for another 2 1/2 hours. Plus if you get customer service from another country, which I guess is your cheap-$#*! decision, at least train them to pronounce the names of places correctly. Seriously, can't say Burger King? Fine and good but working customer service for a place that delivers food might not be in your future.
Nothing like getting a $17 salad paying Like $30 and them forgetting your salad dressing! They gave me a dry salad and it didn't give the option to note they forgot my ranch! They put my food on the neighbors porch 98% of the time! Even though my notes clearly say where to go. They need to lower prices it's way too expensive for such poor service.
I called customer support because when I order and I get it delivered, the Rate & Review link goes to "Error submitting rating and review". I called their customer support to complain (because I like giving drivers good tips and reviews) and they told me "there is no rate & review on our site". They offered me a 50% coupon and I told them, "it's not about me! It's about the driver! Fix your web site so I can give my driver a good rating!" This has been broken since at least 2 years ago.
I much prefer to order directly from the restaurants. With grubhub my orders are often marked up cost-wise and very, very late.
We pay GrubHub and their drivers to simply deliver what has been ordered - on their app...
WHY IS THIS SO DIFFICULT? Oh wait, people are involved... It would be great if GrubHub drivers would just do their frickin' jobs - why are they bothering otherwise?!?!?
I am so frustrated because I share a vehicle and work from home, it would be great to be able to order food and receive it, hellooo - like every pizza place in history... But no, I order food and dinks and I tip well and my drinks are not delivered even when they are picked up - sounds like 5-finger driver discount... Then I have to call GrubHub and get those items refunded - to their defense, they are always helpful and send refunds - but this should not even happen!
Can I just order food - pay for it and receive it?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? Apparently not.
So now, I have taken to just ordering to-go, and picking up myself to avoid disappointment on any level.
Such a waste of time, money and excellent service to be had...
Update came an hour after the order and said they'd be an hour late from the notice. So 2 hours late. Then customer service ended our chat without so much as an apology. Horrible business and horrible customer service. This was our 1 and only time using them.
Ordered breakfast from Bob Evans with coffee. Coffees were in the delivery bag, spilling all over the food and my floor from the door through to the kitchen. They only refunded $4 for the coffee. Poor customer service. We will not be ordering from them again.
Food showed up cold and late. Tried to get a refund for untouched pile of slop and the a holes just laughed at me basically and said they would refund 5 dollars of a 30 dollar order. Poor service and even worse customer service. What a f'ing joke.
I paid for 3 plates today and was only delivered 2 plates. The receipt shows paid for 3 plates. No way to reach customer service. Yet grub hub kept texting me how the service was. I said "poor" "poor" "poor" and I explained why and then they finish off with "thank you we are signing off". Wow great customer service! Failed!
Ok so I've been paying for grub hub + for 3 month now and I finnally decided to try to use my free 10 meal and I go to do it dosent work try diffrent restaurant same thing so I ask for help. Turns out u have to spend 12 for pick up and it only cover 10$ of it so it's not free and they lie
Never order Subway on GrubHub. They took my order and and then cancelled the order because they were out of all the items I ordered. I went to bed hungry.
Really terrible at my location; half the time orders are put in they are canceled an hour later, once I ordered and the software suggested that it would be delivered then change saying it would only be available for pickup; when I called Grubhub about the issue they refused to cancel the order even though I called immediately after the order was placed. I have lost a lot of money to Grubhub and they are a terrible service.
If i could leave 0 stars i would. 3 different orders, 3 different days. One order was never delivered but marked as delivered. $103 and it was for a kids party. Second order was $80 of 4 whole entrees, and only ONE appetizer- that wasnt part of our order- was in the bag that the driver said it was "all in there". Obviously didnt check. Third and last try because they gave us a 50% off coupon, joke was on us because only 50% of the food was there. How are there no repercussions or accountability?
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
