I am a ex loyal customer have been ordering from grub hub over a year or longer finally became a member paying monthly delivery fee just for food to be left in the rain placed order at 6:21 and receive a text at 8:15 that order would not be delivered this has happened on several occasions and the customer service representatives brushes it off as oh well people pay the delivery fees and tip these drivers people should not receive this kind if service as far as me and mine are concerned we will be using door dash from now on
Several times we have used grub hub for our orders from Tijuana flats and several times it says delivered and I've recieved nothing. They offer a supposed refund but we only recieved a fraction of the cost for the meal we originally ordered. Boohissss
I always choose Grubhub over Doordash Because they seem to usually have the order correct. Actually, my only complaint (and this only applies to tonight's order) is that my order was dropped off with ZERO notification. Not a text, not a doorbell ring, not an email, NOTHING. Eventually I just decided to check the front porch and it was there. What TF man?! It was there. Everything that I ordered, exactly as I had ordered. Good job GrubHub but…I had NO IDEA it was on the freaking porch man! Why? Why? There's an option to NOT ring the doorbell…hmm, we'll that wasn't selected sooo? And this was the FIRST time that I received a delivery that I wasn't notified about. I would be really effing disappointed to learn that Grubhub was instructing its employees to NOT ring the doorbell or knock on the effing door. Please don't tell me that was the problem. Because that is just ridiculous. So perhaps either instruct your drivers to NOTIFY THE RECIPIENT OF THE ORDER DELIVERY (I know, crazy right?) ORRRRR present an option for the recipient to choose what their delivery option should be. Not rocket science.
First of all, I was tracking my order, and before she even got to my apartment complex, she had said she had delivered it already. I saw her pull up, we made eye contact. She decided to leave out food, outside in the snow, and drove off. And she had forgotten one of our drinks. The audacity.
I ordered Grubhub once! 6/7 months later I have canceled 4/5 times no matter they will charge you 10$ a month. Only way is call to cancel. And they REFUSE a refund even though they can see you canceled..
They offered a promo, which I followed to the letter. I didn't receive the code I was supposed to receive so I used their customer service online chat to ask about my code. The agent was very short with me and didn't give me a chance to respond between what they were typing. I'm on a cell phone, I don't type that fast. I started another chat and was assured that my code would be sent to my email address that day. I gave them a few days, still nothing. So I contact them yet a third time today and get told that my email address "didn't qualify" for the promotion. So I follow the promo requirements to the letter and don't get my code, they lie about that. Then I talk to an agent that says he's sending me my code, another lie. I will. NEVER use these people again.
The company is trash! Someone got into my account and ordered food and when I got the message regarding the issue they told me they have to send it to a higher leave of support and will keep in contact with me but did not! I called and they kept me on hold and would transfer me to a different language or just hang up! A resolution never came so I had to cancel my card with my bank and this is unprofessional and sad!
Ordered last week and was shorted a meal. They took off the price of the meal. Lmao
Then a few days later I ordered only because I have a membership for the month and after waiting 40 minutes they canceled my order. Just refused my order days later. So being the end of the month I placed my last order and was delayed by a hour. Do not use them
5 orders---3 no shows, 1 late and cold, Grubhub unprofessional and irresponsible, ownws by juvenile morons!
Long story short, don't with for this company! My main complaint is the new customer service Representatives that are outsourced in other countries. (not being biased or racist either, I'm an overly nice person and don't normally take time to write reviews, but I feel sorry for anyone who falls into working for them because they will be, well I'll just say it, Screwed over by GrubHub terribly). I have delivered food for GrubHub for 3 years now and just this past few months the company has completely changed. The customer service representatives for drivers have no idea what I'm talking about when I try to explain the simplest things they should know. Any questions I ask them, no understandable answer! They are very hard to understand when they speak to me. About half of them don't know what I'm talking about and the questions I'm asking! I could go on and on and on but if you don't believe me see for yourself. You will have the worst experience working for this company. And the pay has gone down completely much less than they used to pay. And they do not reimburse you for parking also. I could go on and on but they are not worth my time. Again, trust me, I worked for them for 3 years!
One order never received. Multiple orders missing items or incorrect items. Final straw, after 2 hours and 45 minutes of "delay" in my order, I contacted customer support was offered a $15 credit. Order at 5:30pm final delay delivery time 8:16pm. After 20 minutes of back and forth I told them I was already serving diner without the order I placed. Stated to the guy at least twice that I didn't want the food and wanted my money refunded. Literally stated "So you want me to cancel the order?" Almost 3 hours late, never received, The driver it wasn't even at the restaurant yet… Yes I want it refunded and canceled?!
They just cancelled my order for absolutely no reason. Dont use this service. Waited over an hour and they just cancelled it.
I ordered through them a few weeks ago and the food was delivered to the wrong address. They tried to go pick it up and bring it to me AFTER it had already been delivered to someone else. I thought I'd give them one more try. Ordered through them, and the driver picked up my food and then went the wrong direction. When the time was one minute before the delivery time, I got a text message extending the time by 20 minutes. They wanted to bring me food that was picked up 45 minutes earlier. No, thank you. They add the tip for the driver, but the drivers aren't doing what is necessary to deliver your food. Lesson learned. I won't use them again.
Terrible the app sucks drivers apps hardly work. CS reps hardly speak English. They will let any restaurant advertise even if food disgusting. Uber eats is the best food app delivery service. Also if you have a GrubHub pass you still will get charged $1.99 for delivery fee so make sure that you're not being charged or you will have to call them like I have every single time I order from them.
I have never received an order from grub hub without it being delayed at least 2-3 times adding an additional 45 min to 1 hour on the estimated delivery. Despite the fact I live only 10-15 min away from major restaurants. Not worth it unless you want to order your meal 2 hours ahead of time, like it cold and 3 times the normal price
The 1st order I placed with Grubhub was delivered correctly and on time, so I thought to use them again to order from the same restaurant. I received a phone call and was told that the order was cancelled apparently due to a technical problem, according to the person who called me, and that my money would be refunded within 3-5 business days. She also claimed that they were not able to connect with the restaurant. The second time (a day later) I tried ordering again, and again from the same restaurant (French Meadow Cafe). Again, I was called and told they had to cancel my order because nobody answered at the restaurant, according to the person who called me, who also did not know how to pronounce the restaurant's name, and again told me that my money would be refunded within 3-5 business days. I then personally called the restaurant and had absolutely no issues getting a person on the phone, who told me that they did not receive any calls from Grubhub. Will definitely NOT use them again.
I don't really order pick-up delivery service, but I'm feeling under the weather today and needed to feed my family. Chance was the driver. He delivered a riped bag, both seal labels was torned and he claim the restaurant did it. Stop lying and don't go into customers bag. I will never order with grubhub if these are the people they are hiring. I requested a refund and trashed the food.
First time and last time using GrubHub. We placed an order and the ETA was changed 2 additional times.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
