Placed an order at 3:30 for 5:15 delivery. Long story short, it came at 6:15. I was on chat with customer service who were very curt and offered no explanation. Never using GrubHub again.
Grubhub has to be the absolute worst food ordering app of them all. They will literally sit there and let your order get pushed back 4 hours like they do for me within 2 places I ordered from and not say a single word to you. I had to call to get my money back and cancel my order and even the lady I talked to was ridiculous trying to get me to do a survey midway through our convo and saying "I don't understand your frustration". Than after all this is said and done I get a coupon for 10% off a order of a minimum of 30 dollars.
My order was placed at 11:44am saying 50-60 minutes for delivery time so 12:53 it first said. The company lets drivers say they will take the run take other ones then an hour let's say they decline the order. When delivery is set for one time then changes leaving customer sitting waiting. Their customer care service said 2 times that driver were inside waiting for my food it wasn't ready. I have never sat 2 hours in chipotle for 3 steak tacos! If you live out of town don't let them lie to you & say they deliver cause it's bs! This last driver driver #5 has left there 2 times & now back. I am sick in tears hungry & just want my food. I will never use again & if you live 10 miles away from the restaurant don't order from Grubhub!
Never order from grubhub we ordered tonight from them for the third time it's going to be a charm this time since they messed up are first two orders we placed are order my daughter stopped by and she wanted dinner not a problem we ordered door dash it's being delivered at 6 55 then it updated to7 45 and then again to 8 40 and once again to 9 15 then they wanted to offer up coupons because it is being delivered so late and in the middle of this they tell us the order has been canceled but they where nice enough to offer us a 5 dollar coupon $#*! them now I'm thawing stuff out at 8 30 to mainly feed my daughter that has a 20 mile drive home on icy roads never order from these $#*!ers in Bozeman Montana
This has happened to me twice in a row. I ordered food before the restaurant closed the driver took too long to pick it up so the store closed and instead of anyone contacting me I sat there for over an hour wondering where my food was. I had to call Grubhub for them to even say anything about it and the best I got was a 'my bad' absolutely never ordering from Grubhub again I rather spend more money and order from somewhere else
Ordered food to be delivered and at a certain time. Look at my order online about 25 minutes before delivery. Noticed some of the things I ordered weren't there while others were duplicated. Texted them and told them I wanted to change the order or I would not accept the order. Never heard back from them. They charged me $57 for food for 3 people, while one of us did not get anything to eat. What the heck does a person do with 2 cups of hot sauce when they don't get any tortilla chips-? $10 dollars for the hot sauce and nothing to put it on. I intend to block all ads from GrubHub on all my devices. I would not even recommend them to someone who is starving. Not the first time this has happened.
So I order from GrubHub occasionally and when I'm at work I can't leave because I'm a security guard so I order GrubHub through online app and then half the time they don't refund me the money hopefully it works this time because I went through the app on GrubHub and they only brought me my burrito and they left out the chips and a drink and the driver refused to go back his name was Stark. I even called his cell phone or I called the GrubHub number and it went to his cell phone area code 312 And then he didn't wanna go back "oh you have to contact GrubHub he said" because last time the refund didn't go back into my account this time I did it through the app so I even tip the guy so I will never use GrubHub again I will never use another delivery food service again. The burrito was good but that's the only thing that came to me was the burrito minus the chips minus the bottles of spring water. It's the GrubHub drivers it got too be more cautious and it's the people making the order at the restaurant. Thanks But No Thanks and the guy walks away with my tip because I can't change that.
They only get one star because it wouldn't let me proceed. Otherwise, they'd get zero. I typed my address right... it had my current location... Still delivered to the wrong house.
Every time I have ordered food through the app, the driver goes 2 blocks away and i don't eat that night. Map pin is on the correct address but they always go to 4476 instead of 4276. Bunch of BS!
It looks like there's no love lost for Grubhub, which makes me happy. We ordered delivery tonight, got messages about the progress of the order, then were notified that our food was delivered. NO FOOD WAS FOUND anywhere outside our house. I tried contacting the restaurant (food was handed to the driver "A long time ago") then GH. GH sent me a text message as I was chatting with their customer service person notifying me that my order was cancelled. This is now 2 hours later and we still have no food. They offered me first 15% off my next order, then when I complained that wasn't good enough and requested a free meal, upped the offer to 25%. This company is unfair to drivers, restaurants, and customers. I will NEVER use them again. If a place only offers GH delivery, I'll boycott, eat in, or pick it up myself. Their lack of response (at 9pm on a snowy Chicago night, 1 hour after my food was supposed to have been delivered) has earned my never ending hatred.
I generally don't care much to write reviews or be upset when companies make mistakes because we are all human. However, GrubHub has given me the worst experience in my entire life. I have a autoimmune disease that effects my entire body some days I literally can't leave my bed. So I'll order dinner. I waited 2 hours. No big deal I'm paying to get food there busy I get it. It gets here. It's a just plain kids cheeseburger with no patty in a bag. I ordered food for my entire family, 52$ worth. I call GrubHub thinking they would fix the mistake and give me a refund. They refuse to give me my refund. Because this has happened three times. Everytime, food is cold, it's not what I ordered, or it's missing things. HOW IS IT MY FAULT THIS HAS HAPPENED OVER AND OVER? I HAVE BOTH RECEIPTS. I can send pictures of everything! Nothing matches. Everything is ice cold Like it's been sitting outside. Everytime I order. So now I'm out 52$, no food, so sick I can't move, and just in absolute tears. I got the worst news about my kidney failing today and I just wanted to eat since I'm so sick I can't cook for myself. Do not buy stuff from here, it's a total headache. Especially if your sick and just trying to have a simple night!
I tried to make a call-in order to Las Margartitas in Seattle. I called the phone number on the website, but it was grubhub that answered. I didn't know this; they did not disclose this information. This is fraud. They should leave Seattle.
Grubhub made it EXTREMELY difficult to order. It took me several times trying to clarify my order, and they still messed it up. I ordered 4 items; I got 3. Of the 3 I received, 1 was correct. Out of 4 items, they got 1 correct. 25%.
Even worse, Las Margaritas looks bad. Fortunately, the manager there very professionally explained how I was swindled by Grubhum. We order from Las Margaritas frequently, and will continue to do so; I do not hold them responsible for Grubhub's incompetence for fraudulent business practices.
What I learned: when I call in for an order, I will confirm I am NOT talking with Grubhub. Our local restaurants deserve better than Grubhub; it's difficult enough for them with out the fraudulent practices of Grubhub.
I am highly pissed off beyond measure because this is a terrible inconvenience for me and my gf. I know something small as food is not a big deal but the money you pay for this app for the food to be delivered to your door in the so called "Best quality" is absurd to me and a joke. The fact that we have to preheat our oven to enjoy our meal when the purpose is for us to grab the food and enjoy it. Also I loved how the delivery driver was chilling in a parking lot after grabbing my food and everytime I went to message the driver I got ignored. This app is a joke and once my refund comes in it will deleted.
Grubhub sucks! They left the food oustside on the GROUND at my door and didn't even knock to let me know it had arrived. I'm waiting for my food and it's already here smh. Do better! I prefer door dash!
Grubhub does not help. We had issues with our orders which the drivers got lost being confused by the Grubhub's map showing our house was in a complete different neighbourhood, a couple of miles away. Each time we spoke with the driver over the phone to navigate the driver. One of the drivers figured it out on his own. They were rushing in anxiety feeling bad as the food got colder, we felt bad and ended up tipping them more money while our food got cold.
We understand the system errors and mistakes can happen, but when we reached out to the customer service twice and the issues did not get fixed. The second time, the representative wouldn't read our chat messages explaining and kept sending us the same manual message over and over again. After ordering a lot through them past a couple of months, we just signed up for a free delivery trial, but on the same day we cancelled it. We liked the lower price Grubhub offers but never mind that, we will go back to D******h with comfort, who has 200% better customer service. Rather spend a bit more dollars for better experiences and services. We also ended up spending more money to help out their drivers with Grubhub.
The drivers claim the delivered but didn't and customer service does next to nothing about it. Before I can respond fully to one question they put another then leave the chat. GrubHub SUCKS! Hope the owners of the app read the reviews of their company and maybe try to do something about the terrible customer service and terrible delivery drivers they employ
Iwanted to order chicken from POLLOS MARIO in Jackson Heights Queens NY.
I thought was calling the restaurant directy, instead I dialed Grub Hub. I gave the girl the order. 1 whole chicken cut in four pieces, large rice and large salad. She proceeded to order white rice with salad french fries and no chicken. I took the order without checking because I trusted the restaurant. When I checked it, it was al wrong. I called Grub hub and 5 customer service and 3 supervisors later, no one could give me my money back or pay for my missing chicken. The restaurant was useless and unproffesional and so was everybody at Grub hub. The worst customer service experience of my life. The reps speak brken english, they sound like they are working from home, and they will not help you. I do not recommend these people.
They will screw up our order, appologize but you will not get your money back unless you reverse the charges on your credit card. NEVER, NEVER ORDER TO PAY IN CASH.
They send you emails with perks that they say will apply at check out! Them after check out they mysteriously disappear and you are paid full price!
I Honestly do not know where to start here. On Saturday January 1,2022, I placed an order at my favorite pizza place. I used Grubhub app and mind you placed this order a day in advance fully paid. The next day at the time I wanted it delivered, it was a little delayed, ok, twenty minutes later appeared, (delivered). I was Astonished! Because no one knocked and there was no one outside my door etc. I called Grubhub and the lady checked for me and she return saying, it was delivered and left at bottom steps due to no apt number,? Yawl, I could not believe that lie told. They reimbursed me and so I placed that same order again for the next day. Yaw'l know what? The same exact thing happen... I am done! What about diabetics who order and do so so that they can eat on time. And it really helps them get a balance meal by ordering salads, turkey, wheat bread etc. From their favorite diner or resteraunt... Sad service for real!--
Worst company EVER. Driver couldn't "find our house" yet I sent him an aerial view of the cross streets. 2 hrs and 15 min later, he completed the order and said "I told them the situation" of course, now I'm livid. I contacted customer service which was like communicating with a wall. Finally, after about 15 min of worthless chatter, they offered a full refund. By far the worst delivery service I've ever dealt with. Kick rocks. You suck
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
Answer: Both. But he is not alone, unfortunately. He only got exposed. Millions others are working in politically intolerant places. We have to change that.
Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
