Customer with Seamless for years, then they merged with GrubHub and slowly went downhill. I had used my login for Seamless for years, and months ago, they forced me to start an account under Grubhub as my other login was no longer valid. My entire order history from years was gone, so i had no idea what restaurants we've ordered from in case I liked or disliked it as I used that as a reference. Add to this, they insane delivery/service fee? Many times being OVER $10.00 plus you have to add in the tip and tax which makes it absolutely insane. I emailed them about this and was told in private message to my phone that I shouldn't complain, because no where is it cheaper and I should subscribe to their pay service to avoid those fees. Followed by a God Bless you, which was no surprise. One day this rock will be overturned, and you'll see all the and dirt it's been covering..

All the reviews about how bad grubhub drivers are bad well guess what the customers are the real dumbasses. Y'all $#*! about everything and don't know anything. Y'all say u never received ur food probably because ur a dumbass who lives in a huge apartment complex and never put the apartment number then when u try and contact u u don't answer and make drivers go around the world what are we supposed to magically know where the $#*! your dumbass lives no it's the fact u old $#*!s don't know how to use these apps and actually need to read $#*! instead of blowing thru it. Or u order from Taco Bell and I get there and they say oh our system is down so guess what we have to put the restaurant is closed so that dumbass that said Taco Bell couldn't be closed at 8 uhhh yes it can, I've seen it happen. You think we wanna cancel your order and not get paid dumbass NO. There's two sides to all these bad reviews and guess what the customer is not always right more like the customer is a dumbass and sometimes $#*! goes wrong. Oh and to those $#*!ing about how expensive it is like yea I gotta get paid and if your lazy $#*! don't want get in your car and go get the food yourself your gonna have to pay for it lazy $#*!er. This app will never go outta business cuz there's always gonna be a lazy dib$#*! that don't wanna get up to get there food, and I'll gladly take there money and there food on time and hot cuz I have two big $#*! hot bags and I've never been late on delivery. Oh and lastly $#*! all you no tipping cheap skates or u 2 dollar tippers, you know it's not hard work being a damn driver but guess what gas prices are high as $#*! it's not free and we're over here $#*!ing up our only car that we have to work they can't run forever these $#*!ers break down from all the wear and tear so cut us a damn break and tip 15% at least u cheap little $#*!s.The thing is no one is gonna write a good review anyway most of the time people get so mad that have to write a bad review to make themselves feel better, when really ur review don't do $#*! to hurt anything ur just whining on the internet taking more time out of ur day not making any difference at all. I'll still make hella money and grubhub will too.

Not dependable

It never fails with Grubhub. They have poor drivers, they are either delivering the wrong food or not delivering at all. I have so many bad experiences with Grubhub, I had to just cut them loose. If you want reliable services please do not use GRUBHUB, you will be disappointed every time.

Scammed by driver

Due to being an Amazon prime member and the current promotion for free delivery with Grub Hub +, I decided to order. This was my first ever order, and consequently my last. I decided to order, and after ordering, my driver calls and informs me he has picked up my order, but there is a system issue. So none of the payments went through to the restaurants from Grub Hub. So he states that he paid for it and I have the option to cancel or pay him and he will cancel the Grub Hub credit card charge. I didn't want him being stuck, so I decided to pay him. I paid him cash and guess what, the charge was still on my account. After I called the restaurant, they confirmed this was a lie. I was so mad and felt like such an idiot. I have reported him to a Grub Hub supervisor who states a refund for my credit card has at least been processed now. I gave the drivers cell phone number too and hopefully he'll be dealt with and lose his job. The supervisor Eduardo was great and I have no complaints about him. Although I still have canceled my account, as this has left a bad taste in my mouth. From what I'm reading on here, apparently it's common practice for their drivers to do things like this to people. So sad…

I ordered food from McDonald's an only received part of it an my fish was over cooked. Grubhub gave me a refund and a $10 coupon that was only good for a few hours. I have this service service free for a year via Amazon but it's not free what would normally cost me about $15 cost me $27 + change. All the food has an up charge. I chatted with customer service for an extension on the coupon and they said NO! My order was received around 8pm and I went round and round with McDonald's for about 45 minutes. Restaurants start closing around here at about 9-10 pm. I used Grubhub because I have the flu and possibly Covid and wanted a filet o fish to eat. Lol

NEVER AGAIN!

I made an order through GrubHub and I ordered it based on the time they said they could deliver it. BeAbout 10 minutes before delivery time came they said it would be another 45 minutes because the restaurant was still preparing it. I called the restaurant, and they said the food was done but that GrubHub had no drivers. I called GrubHub to cancel the order and they said they don't except cancellations. I am going to dispute this charge with my bank and will never use this service again as it is absolutely ridiculous. I was ripped of on my very first purchase with this joke of a service…

NO Guarantee!

Grubhub does NOT live up to their guarantee. They sure do take you money out of your account in 2.5 seconds when placing an order but when you receive an inedible order & wrong at that, you have to WAIT 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS for the refund to go back in! They don't even send you a confirmation what so ever detailing the refund & amount! Poor business ethics and after I get my refund I will delete my account and make sure NEVER EVER TO USE Grubhub again and will spread the word EVERYWHERE.

ABSOLUTE WORST

I spoke to 4 different agents for help and they all were horrible. I ordered food at 3 and ETA was 530 because the driver was driving away from me and was over an hour away. They wouldn't help and would not get a closer driver for me. Grubhub is the absolute worst and I will never use them again

Still alright

I did a review on Postmates some time ago, but I have also tried Grubhub and wanted to tell my experience as well. I personally like to go out to eat, but there are some days when you are too tired to make food and too lazy to go out, so this is a perfect time to use a food delivery app. Obviously, each experience is different, but unfortunately, my food came a bit late, so it was cold. My delivery man wasn't too kind, and quit honestly gave me lots of attitude. I gave them a 4 because I know not all deliveries go like this, and I think it's a great idea.

Broken system

First and last time I'm going to use Grubhub. Food was over an hour and a half late and obviously cold. Not restaurants fault. Order was sent to two different drivers. Thankfully the service is "free" with Amazon so it wasn't a total loss. Feel bad for the drivers as this as it stands, isn't a company that knows how to deliver food…

I had a $10 that cost me $19 after fees and minimums ($25 after a non-insulting tip for the driver). The driver delivered my order to a treatment facility several hundred yards from my home. I reached out to support to get the order replaced and I was told that because the store completely botched an order (that they did not want photos of on their chat or to an email) like 2 months ago, and they refunded that, that my account was now "suspicious." When they said they can't refund OR replace the order, I asked them directly if they robbed me. I was told to contact my bank "if [I] feel the need to dispute it as [I] claim the order was not received."

I understand that the agent on the chat makes terrible salary and has to deal with a lot of upset people of varying degrees. I get that the business model is to rob and steal from literally every possible place, but dang. This was a bit much for me. It's only $20 but how many times a day do they do this globally?!

**I have included a portion of the conversation with the agent. I had forgotten to keep taking grabs as I went and it closed upon the ending of the conversation**

Tonight was my first experience using GrubHub and I couldn't be more pleased. I scheduled a delivery to my mother who is in a retirement home. Not only did my driver (Calvin) text me upon delivery, he actually followed up immediately with a phone call when I had a question about the exact location of the delivery. Sorry Doordash, you just lost a customer.

No Longer Good

A couple of years ago, my GrubHub orders were great - on time, food delivered hot, and delivery with a general smile. Now, delivery times are inaccurate and food arrives with questionable quality. When you ask to resolve it, you'll receive a coupon for 15% of $55! No refund for cold foods even though they continue to extend your delivery times. Does not appear the corporate office cares. I guess they have so many customers, they do not care if you discontinue use. A couple of years ago, it was a very different experience with GrubHub, a more efficient experience. Don't waste your time and money with this new-age GrubHub service. I guarantee you will soon regret giving them your personal information and business!

One driver was literally doing a drug deal during my delivery and the drivers are ALWAYS late. Never sympathetic and are very rude. I've ordered from GrubHub very frequently and have only have 1 driver that was up to standards and went by GrubHub policy. I've asked to cancel my account and membership many times and they keep throwing coupons at me, they even offered my membership for free which I accepted but service was worse rather than better. By far the worst food delivery company I've experienced besides Doordash. Hopefully UberEats will be better!

I tried Grubhub about 1 year ago and I had a ticket which was for a large family event. My ticket was over $300 and the food just never showed up. They charged me and eventually refunded my money which showed up back in my account 11 days later!

I was so frustrated with their terrible service that I deleted the app.

Fast forward to tonight, I forgot that I deleted their app and a family member wanted to use Grub hub even though I told them of my terrible experience.

We ordered food, they said it was on the way but no one showed AGAIN!

Now I'm out the $120 for tonight until they decide to refund my money.

NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE THEIR SCAM OF A COMPANY!
