I placed an order at 4:30pm. I received a text from grubhub at 6:56pm saying "Something went wrong with my order"? When I called the Grubhub customer service number the employee told me my food will arrive by 7:20pm? I was so upset and hungry, I canceled my order and asked for a refund immediately. The Grubhub's employee said it'll take 3 to 5 business days. In other words I paid $53 for their mistake and wouldn't receive my money back until next week. HORRIBLE SERVICE! This was such an inconvenience! I WILL NEVER order from there again!
I have found out after using grub hub for several times if you order dessert you will not get it ever. The drivers take it as their reward and get by with it. I bought four hot fudge sundaes and got none and have ordered cheesecake and never gotten it even though on receipt and I paid for it on receipt. Shame on the drivers who all have a sweet tooth at customer expense. Nuts to them all. Drivers will catch the reward they want as your dessert.
I have ordered from Grub Hub for delivery an average of 15 times each month for the last 4 months. Often there is a missing item because they do NOT have their drivers check to ensure all of the items are in the order. I have complained each time and have received a refund and tonight another item was missing from my order and they would not honor the refund of 8 dollars and indicates that I reached my max of refunds. I deleted my app and can no longer trust this company. Having your integrity questioned and implying I lie because of their error is unacceptable! They basically now have stolen 8 dollars for an item I did not receive and further more they do not accept photos and if they did it would show the receipt from the restaurant has all the ordered items crossed off on the receipt on bag except the missing item, once again proving it was missing! Unbelievable! Don't use them in Fort Myers, FL or anywhere for that matter unless they hold the drivers accountable for checking orders before they leave the restaurant!
This was my first and last experience with Grubhub. Food was supposed to take 30 minutes, but took 1 1/2 hours. My driver was named Diana, but when it arrived, a man handed it to me, and a minute t later I got a text from Diana saying she had left the food on my porch. The food was cold, and part of the order was missing. Bad experience from beginning to end. Can't imagine using them again.
Was having friends over for dinner before a concert. Placed my order, and my driver, Maria texted and said she left the food with my door man. Total lie. She took the food and ran, and would not answer her phone. I think their delivery personnel are felons.
Ordered from taco Bell and 7 eleven... Half of the taco bell order was missing plus both drinks were half full and on one drink the lid was half way on. The 7 eleven order a bag of chips were missing as well got a hold of customer service they did refund me part of my order but after this I won't use them again and I don't trust the drink poured it down the sink... Don't trust after this
Yes they are now understaffed. "Good news your order is here"! It isn't and no picture like usual to show your order has been delivered. Now, check your GrubHub fees. They have now added "donation" into your feed in order to get your food. Not delivery fee or tip, DONATION FEE. It might seem no big deal,. 48 cents right? Times that by thousands of orders, then keep in mind GrubHub gets a tax write. Try to place an order today. "Donation fee" isn't optional. That must be illegal.
Driver left my order half a mile away on the ground in front of a closed leasing office and said if I didn't like it I could take it up with support.

Jimmy was my delivery driver from grubhub. I had a very horrible experience with him! At my job he was supposed to deliver the food to the service department building but still proceed to the wrong one. CO workers in the sales building directed him to where I was and he said, "I don't care" and walked away and I had to leave my office and walk to the building and get my food that was supposed to have been delivered to me. I will never order from grubhub again because of Jimmy! He gave me a horrible experience so congratulations Jimmy you my experience horrible go $#*! yourself. -Hanna green
Disappointing. I'm too hungry to think of a better word to describe my current experience with the order that I had delivered to my home. It's beyond obvious that this order was completely forgotten and then delivered hastily. Granted, I have contactless delivery selected but with two chairs sitting on my porch, I was not expecting to find the food on the floor of the porch. Usually a text or call comes through as well, but alas, that was missing. The sandwich and pitiful amount of fries are cold. For what I paid, I'm simply disappointed. I have been satisfied in the past with the delivery service but it either depends on the night or the driver. I paid way too much not to eat this, so to the trash will go the fries and the sandwich, to the oven we go. Hopefully I can get this food to where it needs to be.
I ordered food for my husband who was on a job. We tracked and waited about an hour then my husband called almost 2 hours later. I thought he was going to say how much he enjoyed the food. Instead he told me he is still waiting. I checked the tracking and they said "delivered". I contacted them and they had no idea where the food was even though the tracking said delivered. My money was refunded but my husband was still hungry. Not cool. I gave a 2 star just based on the quick response in the chat.
My account was hacked. Three fraudulent orders were placed, the third of which was while I was on the phone with costumer service trying to cancel them. They not only told me they couldn't cancel them (even though the order had not been processed yet), but told me someone would call within 48 hours and I never received a call back. When I called them five days after the charges, I was told to take it up with my bank. I had email proof, bank statement proof, grub hub received payment, and the representative was able to see the charges, but because I had canceled my account before they could "complete their investigation" I was somehow not entitled to compensation. Of course I canceled my account! They allowed a third fraud charge to go through while I was on the phone with them! I will never order through them again, and will continue to tell this experience to anyone that will listen.
The fact that you can order food other than pizza online from restaurants, and they bring the order right to the door should be all that she wrote! This app has been such a lifesaver for my husband and I! Every time that we have gotten home from work and was too tired to cook, this was and still is the app we turn to! There are so many restaurants to pick from, which we love that option! We couldn't be happier that they have a Grubhub for our city!

Got NONE. They could not help me because it was a 'Grub Hub'
Issue. Called Grub Hub and they took no responsibility for helping me or their driver. Thanks for nothing. Felt sorry for the poor delivery driver.

Bad Service, Price markups, Inaccurate orders constantly
- they tell you that delivery is $0.00 for one year because you are amazon customer. But then they jack up service fees to make up the different. Tell me why does it cost $20 for simple burger /fries form fast food 1.5 miles away. If you go to the restaurant it only cost $10 and change with tax... Mandatory tip is also rip off and you get cold food
I WILL NEVER ORDER THROUGH GRUBHUB AGAIN! EACH TIME I HAVE ORDERED WITH THEM IT HAS BEEN AN ISSUE AND THEY WANT YOU TO WAIT 3-5 DAY FOR A REFUND!
I was going to place an order for 3 items at PF Changs--and the total with all fees was $81. I went direct with PF Changs and the same order was $53. That's a $28 up charge for delivery. The food was marked up in additional to all the fees. Bad value for the money. Get in your vehicle and make the drive and pick it up yourself.
I ordered from TacoBell and approved the outrageous total. The food was good and arrived fast which is why it got an extra star. My issue was, the next day I received an email, INFORMING me, that they charged my cc more than the total I approved! I'm not ok with them just upping my total and charging me whatever they want WITHOUT my approval OR knowledge!
Once good, now drivers can deliver as many as EIGHT ORDERS AT ONCE! In other words your food sits in car delivery after delivery. Greedy grubhub are killing restaurants too,. Their charges are off the charts! GRUB HUB SUCKS!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.
