Do not use grubhub, use doordash. The GrubHub drivers do not read the notes, they steal your food and then charge you for it. I have had more time with GrubHub where my delivery does not get delivered and I'm stuck with screaming kids because where we ordered from is now closed.
GrubHub will do nothing to solve this for you, they are garbage company used or dash, again used doordash
If I could give no star I would! I don't even write reviews! Door dah is the way to go with these types of services! I have never once gotten my order from Grubhub not once! I'm done and I'm over it and I'm sorry but this app sux and it's not worth it! Please please take my advice on this app!
Grubhub has absolutely horrible vendors. Especially, if you are ordering it from WhichWich in Addison, don't. They will routinely cancel the order.
Called and the customer service representative named Erica went mute until I hang up and tried again. The app keeps saying there's an issue with my card issuer. I called and my card issuer confirmed that Seamless had successfully charged me but didn't process my order so I could get the food. This has happened three times now.
Most Unreliable & horrible service provider. I will never consider grubhub once i really need food. Will never consider them.
Placed order for delivery at 11:17 Am, at 12:19 PM still nothing. Called restraunt and was told food was never picked up. You take the money pretty quick, but dont deliver. I will make sure to not make the mistake of using you again
At our favorite sushi place, one single sushi roll through grubhub was $5 more than the in store price of $7.50. Chicken Teriyaki in store is $14.95, through Grubhub it's $23.95. What a RIP! Then you have a delivery fee of almost $4 which is fine, but considering what they do mentioned above, it's bull$#*! to then add a random fee of $3.50, as well as the drivers tip. So, for example, an order that is $9.95 (cheaper than this in store), ends up being $21.55!
I'm a driver for Grubhub I been working for them a few months now. I never had an problem with payments & when I pushed cash out for the first time instead of waiting for the regular time payment time I haven't gotten paid it's been over a month! I been contacting them & everyone saying give them a few days to investigate my payment was 132$ In Sept I still haven't received my payment
At 3:42pm, I ordered from a Panda Express 12.4 miles from my house, which should have been no more than a 30-minute delivery time, including traffic and lights. Originally the delivery time said no later than 4:42pm, which okay, maybe the driver is doing multiple deliveries. Then the delivery time switches to 5:56pm, which is BEYOND absurd. If a company doesn't have delivery drivers for a location, they shouldn't include a location on their website for ordering. To be fair, they were quick to cancel and refund my order when I contacted them at 5:00pm, but I wasted an unacceptable amount of time, something that could have been avoided. I have certainly learned my lesson and will not use this delivery service again in my area.
There are often items missing from my order. Until today, Grubhub has been responsive and refunded me for the missing items. They refused to issue a refund today claiming that I have received too many. Perhaps they should look at their drivers or their partner restaurants for the issue instead of blaming the customer.
While sitting in my camper in Central Minnesota I received a call from a NYC restaurant letting me know I didn't choose a side for my order. Told them I'm in MN and didn't place an order. Short while later a driver in NY calling for delivery instructions, again said I'm in MN and didn't order. Next day find out order was placed through my GrubHub account and $140 was charged to my bank account. Called and was told it would be resolved in 48 hours. Here it is now a week later and 3 calls to them telling me it is escalated and they will let me know when resolved. Same girl that answered my last call came back on the phone line saying she was the supervisor too (guess they think their customers are idiots). Will allow a few more days before disputing through my bank. I will delete my account after this is resolved.
I ordered from both papa john's and white castle and two hours later these imbeciles cancelled both prepaid orders totaling over $75. These people are morons. Richard Mahan in Lexington KY
If I could give 0 stars I would! I ordered food on Friday 9/30/22. The delivery driver was very rude and unprofessional he left our food up at our apartment complex's office and when asked why he did not attempt to call me he stated he had which is untrue. When I explained I would contact Grubhub about redelivery he stated "but you got your food" I explained I did not he then told me to "stop complaining and go pick up my food" not sure why I paid to have it delivered and tipped for it not to have been done. He was then the driver on the redelivery and KEPT MY SECOND FULFILLED ORDER! He then texted and taunted about how if the first driver left my food up by the pool I should just go walk and find it, this is absolutely poor customer service and a horrible image to have an employee representing your company. I had fraud on my account online - someone ordered food under my account using my credit card. I called Grubhub and was told they would open an investigation, and I should hear back within 48 hours. Nothing happened, so I called a couple days later and was told again I should hear back any day now. Then I called a third time a couple days later and was told an investigation was never opened, and the agent I spoke with actually filed an investigation for me and gave me a ticket #. All I wanted was a refund. So I waited two more days and called again and spoke to a supervisor who said I should hear back any day now, and they could see my file was being worked on. I have no faith in this company and will never use their services again.
Straight from NY pizza and GrubHub has lost my business forever. I had been ordering delivery from them for about a year now because they are the closest to where i work that has GF/DF pizza. I would get one or two a month, tipping the pizza makers and the drivers at least 20%.
A couple of weeks ago the management here at the hotel wanted to do something nice for the guys in maintenance for all the hard work they've put in. So we ordered three pizzas. Just three.
We were told the order was too large and they could not do it.

Bad business example, guys. You have lost a long time customer.
If your order is delivered wrong more than 2 times, the will not refund you and not deliver the food you order
And they will cancel your account and pretend it never happened
These people are scammers they allow for driver errors and restaurant errors and refuse to refund you your money or replace the orders. I have called the BBB on them because they need to be stopped!
WARNING! I was told I would be refunded, the driver THEY HIRED deliberately dropped my order on my porch and is on camera, I'm told the transaction was cancelled but the money never went back on my card. I called my bank and they confirmed this. I got the email to provide to my bank to trace this transaction and my bank again said that it cannot be found. My account was not refunded, they show the transaction was made. NEVER reversed. NEVER refunded. Grubhub is fraud and their customer care team is TERRIBLE AND LIES FOR THEM. They are there to get a check not to assure customers are satisfied and they lie about refunds to avoid giving them. STAY AWAY! Warning! Stay away!
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.

Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.
