My friend ordered from here and they left the food on his doorstep outside, in the cold. They never rang the doorbell or called him up. He waited for hours for the food and only noticed and I came by his house and told him that this was outside his house. The food was rock hard and freezing. Ugh.

Very bad service

Very bad service. Ordered food several times, it ever arrived on time, almost always an hour late and few times mixed up orders. If you are hungry and you want food, don't order from them. Never ordering through them ever again

Absolutely the worst

Absolutely the worst. They stole 4 dollars from me and never gave me my food. 9/10 would never use this service again. They refused to compensate me on my missing money claiming there was "nothing they could do" What a bunch of bull.

Totally unprofessional

Totally unprofessional. I made an order that I waited longer than an hour and half for delivery. When I chatted with customer service the answer was that the order was received and it would be delivered any minute. I waited for about another 15 minutes, till 3:20 a. M, to contact the customer service again to cancel the order. Simply, the answer was "please wait to pull up your order" and no further action was taken whatsoever. Not even an apology. About 3:30 am the food arrived extremely cold and one sandwich was different than what I actually ordered. I took the food straight to the trash. Money was not the issue nor was it the very low quality food, it really was the manner in which the customer service handled my concern "total ignorance". I regret ordering through this website and I will better sleep hungry than ordering through it.

Usually we get food from Eat24. I have tried Grubhub twice. Both times my order was over an hour late from the estimated time. Both times I had to inquire about where my food was rather than getting updated. I sent the feed back to Grubhub, and got a we don't control restaurants. To me if you are 0 for 2, and your competitors can get food from the restaurants to my door on time, than something is wrong with how you are doing things. I will stick with eat24 in the future.

Sent me a $2 coupon to reorder from the same place I usually. I tried the coupon and the requiremenst to increase purchase price os I did (stupid). Then I sent the order - restaurant recived the order 30 minutes late and I had to wait for one hour. On top of that, the $2 was not given since I had to pay by credit card. What a scam... never again

I ordered food

I ordered food. 2 hrs later, I called to see what the delay was. They called me back 10 min after that to tell me that the food was not coming. They tried offering me a $15 credit to make up for it. But I don't see how that helps my grumbling stomach.

Do NOT use this website. I've given them SO many chances and ended up with late orders, changes in delivery from delivery to pick up, mess ups in address, etc. I normally don't write reviews for things like this, but when I had my order changed from delivery to pick-up for the SECOND time, I had to. Not to mention, when I went to website to ask why this happened, the woman can only tell me that order is being delivered NOW without any further explanation. Use grubhub.com because that's what I plan on doing from now on.

What an awful company

What an awful company. Ordered food tonight and got the wrong order. That happens and it's not the company's fault, but they handled in terribly. I used their online chat which is painfully slow. I asked for a credit which they first said they can't give since I paid in cash, but grubhub will give credit even when you pay in cash. Then I asked that the restaurant return the money which I was assured they would do. This took 15 minutes on the chat. An hour went buy and the money never came. After another long and painful chat, I was told the money is on the way, that eat24 does not prepare the food, that they can only go with the information the restaurant gives them and that essentially they are not responsible for anything. After a third long chat, the restaurant owner finally called me and seemed to know nothing about the situation, but agreed to send the money. I asked the online chatter again for a credit and this time it was possible (Why didn't they just give it to me in the first place?) He asked how much I thought was fair. After two hours of dealing with this, I said $15. He told me he could give no more than $10. So why ask how much is fair? He said he'd have a long talk with the restaurant owner about this. But the problem is not the restaurant owner, it is eat24. Better off just calling the restaurant and leaving out the middleman.

An hour and a half wait with rude delivery men who don't even wear uniforms! The people coming to my door are usually unkempt and very unprofessional GubHub is a trashy place to order.

After our order was 45 minutes late, I called customer service to inquire about it. They could not have been less helpful or concerned that it had not shown up. After doing some "research", they shared that the restaurant mixed up the order and if I wanted them to make our order this time, it would be another 45 minutes at least. I declined and asked for refund. Which to their credit, they did immediately. So over a course of 2:45, no food, very unhelpful customer service via Grub Hub and we are still hungry. Thanks for nothing.

The restaurant NEVER delivered; the initial eat24hours.com customer service rep contacted dropped off of the chat (never to come back); the next customer service rep was able to give a refund but was never able to contact the restaurant and rectify the situation (meaning I didn't receive my food after two hours of waiting)... AND there you have it.

I order a simple burger and chili from Sammy's Red Hot which I have ordered from many times before. Tonight 1/2 hour after the order was confirmed they send me and email that the order was cancelled. I didn't cancel it. I have money to cover it. I got on their chat. Soon as I asked why my order was cancelled they drop the chat. I will not do business with such a stupid website again. I will use grubhub.

I was disappointed after seeing a commercial and being so excited to get on this site. Turns out, there were literally 3 restaurants to choose from. All of which were little hole in the wall places I had no desire to eat from.

I have been a grubhub customer since 2010 but after tonight I will never use grubhub again. When my order was 20 minutes late tonight, I called customer service and the representative told me she would contact the restaurant and text me the status. 20 minutes go by and I still had not heard back from grubhub. When my order was 40 minutes past it's expected arrival time I called customer service back to tell them I wanted to cancel my order. She informed me the delivery service told her our order had been delivered already. Well, that was clearly not true! 12 minutes of being on hold passed and she told me the delivery man confirmed he dropped it off at a house with a gate and a housekeeper. My house does not have a gate nor do I have a house keeper. So basically my order was delivered to the wrong address. I was told my order would be refunded and I would receive " free grub ". After wasting 2 hours waiting at home for a delivery and having to deal with customer service, this company has the gall to give me a $5 dollar credit. Gee, thanks. Unfortunately, the service at grubhub has substantialy declined. I have been running into issues like these 2 of the last 5 times I've ordered from them. This will be my last time. Good riddance, grubhub.

We just had the worst experience with Eat24hours.com attempting to order a group lunch order and pay share separately. Only the cart admin's order went through, I had to call the restaurant and order directly as the site would not process my order and the 3rd member of our group got charged but when we called the restaurant they had no record of her order. This was a terrible experience, and a huge waste of time in the middle of the work day. To top it off, the cart admin was on hold with your support line for over 10 minutes and got hung up on, and the online chat support was no help at all and kept leaving the chat w/o answering her questions. Next time we will use Grub Hub who we know we can count on or just call the restaurant directly. Very disappointing.
