I ordered from hooters off of grubhub they didn't have my order then they confirmed it at 10:30 grubhub sent me an email saying they are making my food with est. Of hour delivery way to long. After 11:20 hits I get another email no drivers in the area they canceled my order I can't order pizza now cuz there closed. Moral of the story I called a lyft to go get my food myself will NEVER use grubhub again worst $#*! ever. It's not even worth the one
We ordered from a restaurant for dinner. I got a call from customer service from a gentleman named Nathan at grubhub - he said due to some storms going through the area, the restaurant we ordered from would take a very long time to deliver the food, so he gave me an option of waiting or canceling the order and order from a different location. I opted to cancel the order, and Nathan informed me that I would be getting a $5 off coupon via e-mail for my troubles. He cancelled, sent the coupon and I used that for the second order. In general, he was extremely pleasant and timely and I was very happy with how a potentially annoying situation was handled so well.
This restaurant small problem for delivery this now is everything is good. This grubhub return money every time cancel order never charge restaurant. This food very fresh big portion. Delivery fast. I'm recommend this restaurant. Thank you.
We placed the oEder 9:23pm online; got text stating delivery between 10:10pm and 10:20pm. We waited. At 10:30pn we called the restaurant and they didn't get the order! The guy had no clue about any order.
We called Grubhub, they looked it up and said, we can refund your money. They never sent the order. This is a scam.
We're left hungry and angry, too late to order from anyplace else other than pizza.
These people are incompetent failures. Will never use them again.
Bad customer service, PLEASE work on that. We orders pizza and chili dogs. My son said the pizza was good, he loved the thin crust and the squared shape slices. The buns for the chilli dogs were to dense for me.
I PLACED AN ORDER ONLINE, WAITED FOR AN HOUR AND STILL NO UPDATE SO I DECIDED TO CALL THE RESTAURANT. THEY TOLD ME THEY DIDNT GET MY ORDER SO I CALLED EAT24 TO CONFIRM. AFTER BEING ON HOLD FOR 10 MINS, THE REPRESENTATIVE TOLD ME THAT THE RESTAURANT IS NOT TAKING ORDERS AT THIS TIME. WHY WOULD IT EVEN SAY " OPEN " ON YOUR WEBSITE? ACCEPT MY ORDER AND GIVE ME A DELIVERY TIME IF THEY ARE NOT TAKING ORDERS? WASTED MY TIME FOR NOTHING AND ALL I GET IS " OKAY, I CANCELLED YOUR ORDER FOR YOU" WHAT A JOKE!
Placed my order at 7:39 pm. At 9:22 they said it would be another HOUR. Ok. At 10:10 pm they called to cancel my order because the restaurant has CLOSED!
We waited 2 hours ordered dinner for 2. Only 1 dinner arrived customer service refused to help make it right or refund the meal
I've ordered through Yelp eat 24 service over 10 times now and they have probably only successfully fufilled my order about 2 times. On multiple occasions when I have ordered through their service, the businesses have been closed, the order mysteriously doesn't go through (yet the money is charged to my bank account) or they do not honor their own coupon codes! It's supposed to be a more convenient way of ordering, yet I get screwed over nearly everytime. Take the advice and just call the restaurant you are ordering from. It's really not worth the hassle. And you will rarely every be compensated for the full amount of your order. B. S. Company. Steer clear.
I order my food 1:30 hours ago. I called the restaurant and found out that the grub hub driver had left with my food. I called grub hub and when they tracked they found out that grub hub driver was at the restaurant and would not deliver again. Upon further inquiry, the grub hub driver lied that she called me multiple times, when I was sitting next to my phone and never received a single phone call. They cancelled my order when I am sick. I have never never picked up a phone call when I order my food and I had left special instructions that 'call me when you are here.' Just Awful. Not reliable at all.
Placed $50 order at 9:36 PM. Told 10:20. OK. No food at 10:30. At 10:40 I check my email and it says "Sorry, cancelled - $5 off next time." Great! Now what with a bunch of hungry people. Make frozen pizza. Restaurant calls at 11:05 PM and asks when I will come get my food.
Just pickup the phone and call a restaurant! You'll save time and hassle. Last night was the 2nd time they processed an order for a restaurant that was closed! First time was last week. Found a restaurant that was still open for half an hour. Placed my order. Twenty minutes later I get a call telling me the restaurant closed early and I would be getting a refund. Got the refund email from PayPal a few minutes later. Yes it was annoying but I decided to keep using the ap. Last night however the same thing happened. Found a restaurant that still had half an hour until close and ordered my food. Delivery time was 45-60 minutes. After an hour and 15 minutes I texted Eat24 customer service and asked what was going on. They called the restaurant and got no answer, just as I did and came to the conclusion that they had closed. The rep said I would get my money refunded but I never received a PayPal confirmation. I'm now "chatting" with an Eat24 rep that says they can't refund me until they confirm with the restaurant and they don't open for a couple more hours. Both times I ended up with no food and no other options because while waiting for a non-existing order all other places had closed. So much hassle! Oh! I almost forgot- 10 minutes into my order last night and I email Eat24 asking if the delivery person could call my cell research instead of knocking because it's hard to hear the door from my bedroom and they responded that they had relayed the message to the delivery person. Oh really? How'd they do that when it turned out the restaurant closed and never even processed my order. Never using this ap again, it's terrible.
WILL PUT THROUGH ERRONEOUS CHARGES WHICH DEBIT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AND MAKE YOU SEND 5-6 EMAILS TO GET THEM TO FIX THE PROBLEM, EVEN WITH SCREENSHOT PROOF FROM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. A TOTAL SCAM! USE ANY DELIVERY APP EXCEOT THIS ONE!

3 orders in a row. None of them arrived problem-free, and there customer service is non-existent. The online help button just spins and spins and spins, and the woman I am currently on the phone with about my 2-hours late order is actively rude.
I ordered through yelp eat 24 today for the first time. My food was to be delivered within 45-60 minutes. Their site said it would be delivered by a restaurant driver, or if none was available, it would be delivered by one of their drivers. After a 45 minute wait, I got a call from eat 24 telling me there were no drivers available so I could pick up my food or cancel my order. Wow! Nothing like making a person wait to call and say just kidding, we're not actually going to provide the service to you we advertise... I would never recommend this company to anyone! Ya live and learn I guess.
I order food through Eat24 in VA, never received my confirmation email so I did the online chat for assistance to make sure my order went through. The person come on the chat but then left without saying a work for about 15mins. I said hello are you there and no reply. I that time I called the restaurant to check if they had my order before the person came back on the chat. NEVER USE EAT24

Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
