I'm a bicycle courier in San Francisco and I just want everyone to know that they're still using your tips for my pay. Average GrubHub pay is $5 per delivery but for example if you tip $4 on the app than GrubHub will just add $1 to makeup for the $5 they've promised me up front.
So in other words, they subsidize. It's the same thing if you were a bartender and your boss told you that you will make $100 today. You end up making $80 in tips, so now your boss only has to give you 20 bucks to make up for the $100 he promised that you'll make.
I ordered lunch the night before I work in a hospital and wanted my food at a certain time. Well 5 messages later a lunch that should've arrived at 8:30 all of a sudden last message said I will get it by 11, are you freaking kidding me. I called chipotle and I was told my food was on the counter for 2 hours I didn't want to bother requested money back please don't use GrubHub do the other ones if you want your order and on time. Changed delivery time twice then cancelled my order when it was time to deliver! I got home late and am trying to feed my kids! I will use uber eats from now on. They're reliable.
I place an order with Wingstop and never received it. When I complained to Grubhub they said someone tried to deliver and they are sorry and offered me 1/3 the cost of my purchase. Are they crazy? I'm getting my money. Watch!
$41.25 for two small burger combos. Food was nasty and cold. No napkins or ketchup. The fact that you have to tip the driver before finding out they can't handle getting napkins or ketchup or delivering the food before it gets cold is a scam.
I just ordered a pizza. The driver was reading the apparent pizza store location, my address was right under that. I spoke with him on the phone directing him, he took my pizza to someone else and put it on the mat at their front door. Now I'm out $33

Never again will I use ANY food drivers in Grubhub or door dash! My first and ONLY experience with them! Grubhub needs a live answering service and someone who speaks English who can communicate with the customer before delivery!
I attempted to obtain refund for a missing item then was charged again instead. When I tried again they refunded one of charges and disconnected my chat. The 3rd attempt was completely useless. Never ever again will I order through Grub Hub, especially when so many other options available.
I had a gift card for Grub Hub and could not order anything. It would come back as "cancelled and refund" every time I try to order! Others online have the same problem! How are they still in business? Customer Service is useless! Management never returned my call after 3 tries. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! What a scam! I'm changing to Door Dash!
Ordered McDonald's 1 mile away. Driver was late asking for the gate code when it was already in the directions from prior deliveries. I had to meet him outside instead because he couldn't find my place. I went outside to meet him and immediately noticed he was on coke. I told him. He denied it. I said yeah right. Told him be safe because I know he's high. He drove off.

Was ordering takeout from the parking lot of Qdoba and somehow was diverted to a yelp site that had me order the meal through GrubHub making it seem like that was what Qdoba wanted. I later found out I was charged almost $9 more (above Qdoba price) even though I was doing takeout and sitting in the Qdoba parking lot. I've never felt so raped by a company. Grub hub is the worst. I reached out and received nothing on multiple attempts to reconcile.
There Customer Service is horrible. I know drivers don't have the ability to check orders because they are sealed. However, This should not be held against the customer when a item is missing. And this seems to happen alot. And Grub Hub will stop you if you get more then 2 refunds. Telling me that it has to be reviewed in 7 to 10 days and then they will let me know. We'll how about you call the restaurant ect very they forgot now.7- 10?Horrible customer service. Done with Grub Hub.
GRUB HUB JUST GETS WORSE AND WORSE. I PAY MONTHLY SO I DONT HAVE TO PAY DELIVERY FEES BUT EVERY TIME I ORDER THROUGH GRUB HUB I CANT HELP BUT FEEL LIKE I HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF. NOT ONLY THE COST OF FOOD IS MINIMUM $4.00 MORE THAN THE ACTUAL PRICE BUT THERES FEES SEEMS TO BE GETTING HIGHER COMPARE TO OTHER SERVICES SUCH AS DOORDASH AND UBER EAT. SHAME ON YOU FOR MARKING THE PRICE UP ON TOP OF YOUR SERVICE FEE.
I had to cancel because GrubHub apparently only hires people who are totally incompetent and can't follow instructions. I live in a TWO story duplex and the houses on either side of me are ONE story and my address is clearly marked. They always drop the order off at the wrong place which also upsets my neighbors. I gave clear instructions on where to deliver to even to the point I described the vehicles parked on the driveway and the drivers still mess it up. Y'all obviously can't count or read. Or deliver to the wrong street 5 blocks over and cancel my order because your driver won't answer his damn phone.
Somehow my account got banned after getting $200 in gift cards from Verizon. Nobody has an answer on why I can not use my account and I am not sure on what to do.
You can get the food cheaper if you order it straight from the restaurant and do not use the grubhub website. Once I get done with the gift card will not be using grubhub anymore
Failed to deliver one of two entrees. App offers no way to correct. Auto-refunded without any notice at less than the price of the entree with explanation "menu error" which you can only find after doing some digging. Cable and phone companies look like service gods compared to these guys.
2 weeks in a row unable to order. Contact grubhub and no help. Have $100 in gift cards we can't use.
WORST SERVICE EVER! CUSTOMER SERVICE DOES NOT CARE! EMPTY PROMISES - LIKE THE ORDERS I DIDNT RECEIVE
We received a gift card as a part of a meal train after the death of my father. We tried using the card to place an order. The system required a credit card and then automatically charged the credit card instead of the gift card. After attempting a live chat with an agent and supervisor (Daniel M), they refused to reprocess the payment.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.

Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
