Hrubhub is absolutely incompetent they took my order 35 minuets later tells me my order was canceled because the restaurant is closed today. Now I know you pay about 40% more than your order total like if you order $100 of food you will pay about $140 for this order picked up delivered to you with tip. This is a lot of money to pay but your paying for them to be competent and deliver what you order from their app on time. This is not at all what you get. They can just randomly cancel your order with ZERO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEM. They are for sure a horrible choice for customer service they just plain old fashioned suck.
Last night I order KFC through Grubhub. They promised the order would be delivered within 20 to 25 min. I never received the order. The driver blamed his GPS and after issuing a $7.00 credit ( on a $22.00 order) I could not reach customer service. Horrible service and experience! Never again.
I have ordered from Grubhub several times and each time the order has been late. When I called customer service (they are in a different country) they read from a "script" and then call the driver. The drivers lie and make excuses which is the reason Grubhub has such a horrible rating. For example, I placed an order at 4:15pm and the driver passed the town where the restaurant is and went somewhere else doing God know what. The time changed to 5:21 - 5:31! I call customer service but they were not helpful. Grubhub will no longer get my business.
Do you have low blood pressure? Well, fear not! With Grubhub, you can raise your blood pressure from rage from being hangry! Grubhub specialized in being over an hour late, and sometimes even never delivering your food! So, I recommend Grubhub if you have chronic low blood pressure because it will elevate it back to normal <3 However, if you have a normal or high blood pressure, you need to be careful with Grubhub because constant rage can be bad for your health. Thanks Grubhub, for delivering my food 20% of the time.
In all seriousness, never again. Grubhub sucks butt, and I hate every aspect of it.
Grubhub has been absolutely terrible and their customer service doesn't make up for it. I would highly suggest using door dash or Uber eats. There's even a new one called caviar. I don't have any of these issues with the other services and there's too much competition in my opinion to slip as much as Grubhub has. My orders have been constantly super late like tonight it's coming an hour late and I need to go to bed so won't be eating it. The other day again super late and it was cold, dried and tasted awful. Their "resolution" is here's $5. They don't care to make it write for their continued poor performance the last several times I've used them.
I ordered from Grubhub many times, but this time, my experience was so bad, I will never order from them again! I am so upset, I'm shaking, and crying! First of all, I was unable to change my contact information from no contact, to meet me at the door. Even that I could overlook, if the driver had been civil. My directions clearly state the color of the mobile home I'm in, and to not get confused, and go to the mobile home next door, because of how the mailboxes are positioned. He parked in front of that mobile home, and got out of his car to walk up to it. It was obvious he hadn't read my instructions, so I called him to come over to my home. I stated to him that I clearly outlined that in the instructions. And he got very, very nasty, and said, "What did you think I was doing?" I proceeded to tell him that he didn't have to be so nasty, and then he told me that I was the one who was nasty, and proceeded to call me sick in the head! I am a senior citizen who just lost my husband very suddenly, and now, am about to lose my home. I am in the process of moving, as a developer has bought our park, and we all have to be out by the third week of April. This was the last thing I needed! They lost a good customer! This experience left such a bad taste in my mouth, I will NEVER order from Grubhub again!
One night I ordered McDonald's from.a store thats a 9 minute drive away. It says 45 minutes. Then it said delayed to an hour and a half. Then I contact support and they give me 15% for a future order. The next day I try to use it at the same store and now my food is over 2.5 hours after 2 delays. And the only thing they are willing to do is give me another 15% off a future order, but out me on hold and forget about me for. Thats never happened in my life haha. This is far worse than UberEats and they are absolutely garbage when it comes to customer service. Doordash is superior. I will never order from this place again. Period.
Over 30mins late and still don't have my food. I wanted it delivered when I got out of work and I have an hour drive to get to school. Looks like I just lost 40 dollars because I can't stay. Just a waste.

Got my food cold. Melted shake as the driver went the wrong way then ended up delivering my food 10 mins past the time it was supposed to be here. Don't use them
I've used this service twice. Both times I didn't receive what was paid for. I'm done at this point. The food bag was tossed around. We threw it away after paying 36.00. The other order was missing items.
Never received our $50 food. Called customer service, who was too busy talking to her friends and laughing in a different language rather than helping me!
Grubhub Double charged for order and the cancel order /chat with us does not work. Unable to "chat" with anyone charged 76.73 twice, not able to cancel duplicate order. Had to call The Habit burger place and my chase bank to dispute claim. Waiting to see what happens.
If you don't mind eating cold, soggy $#*! food, I'm sure this service would be great... I ordered 1 sub and my eta time just kept on rising. Smmfh Finally I called and canceled my order and now I'm getting ready to cancel my subscription. Man these people that work here are incompetent as fk.
Been a Grubhub+ member for several years. But I am swapping to a different provider after having one too many drivers steal my food. They say its delivered when its not, their phone number listed for the driver is out of service so i cant contact the driver. I called restaurant to confirm someone did infact pick up my order on my behalf, then never delivered it. I don't care about being issued a refund that never ends up coming in. They re place the order for me which is fine, but doesnt fix the issue. They need to vet their drivers more thoroughly because this is NOT the first time ive had drivers stealing my food. Enough is enough, im out of here.
I have Grubhub through Amazon so a year for "free" not only do I pay Uber Eats monthly to use them, I use them more than raggedy azz GrubHub…can never get an order at the scheduled delivery time…food always 30-45 minutes late and cold…Grub Hub is the worst
Our company ordered food for our client. Not only did we wait an hour + for our food. We were told the food was delivered. Then the driver didn't answer the phone. Then they said well we will give your month back in the next 5 days. Then they cancelled my order and gave a $3 discount on my next order. What a shame. Never use them they only hire the worse people who clearly don't care about their jobs.
Deceptive business practice
I placed an order and received a reasonable ETA for delivery. 1 minute later the ETA was changed to an hour later. I immediately attempted to cancel but was told I could not because the original ETA had not passed. This is deceptive and ridiculous, chat representative said it was passed up to "escalation team" meantime restaurant started preparing food thus preventing me from cancelling. Deception, Deception, Deception. Beware of this website, order from DoorDash or Uber instead.
I had a negative experience with Grubhub this evening. The driver appeared to tamper with my food. The good thing is that Grubhub promised to make things right. We'll see. I was also pleased that the restaurant swamped out my food without question. But all of it was a hassle. Given all the negative reviews, I will think twice before ordering from them again.
I have been trying to use GrubHub for the last several years and about 50% of the time my order gets cancelled after about an hour of delays. Either this company needs to work with their drivers or they need to build a better relationship with the restaurants. I will not be using them again.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
