THE WORST!

Used grub hub twice. Both times the order was delivered over 45 minutes late, after my lunch was over. Food was cold and gross. Ended up throwing it all away. Do not waste your time...

Today was my first and last experience with GrubHub. I ordered food at 10:40am. Received a text that my food would be delivered around 12pm. At 12:15pm I tried calling the restaurant and there was no answer. So, I called GrubHub. They tried calling the restaurant, still no answer. So, they were allowing you to order food from a restaurant that is literally closed! I canceled the order and asked them to send me another promo code because it would not allow me to use the promo code on the order I had to cancel and they refused to give me another one. Done. Bite Squad from now on.

Placed an order w/ one of their restaurants. Estimated delivery was 40-50 min. At about 1 hour 15, I get a text saying my order was cancelled.

Can I review that restaurant? Of course not. I can view fake reviews, but I can't create one. I've spent an hour trying to figure out how to tell others to avoid this dumb-$#*! restaurant, but GrubHub wont' let me. It's done. I'm elsewhere.

HORRIBLE

EVERY single time I order, they always cancel. No matter if its 5 PM or 10 PM. EVERY SINGLE TIME I GET CHARGED and then they call and cancel. I get a measly 5$ credit for waiting 45 minutes and then getting a phone call to say your order has been cancelled and you have to wait 3 to 5 days to get your refund. I'm done with this HORRIBLE service

Three separate times I've had to call the restaurant and customer service about my order because its ALWAYS late. The first time I had to get it myself. The second time I had to call and ask because I heard nothing for an hour and all of the sudden it was canceled a refunded. This time I had to call and request a driver be sent out to deliver my food. The customer service girl stayed on the line so I couldn't take the survey after the call. She wanted me to hangup first.

I had ordered fast food and was quoted that it would be 40-50 minutes, which was fine. It got to be 5 minutes until my order was supposed to arrive (11:10pm to 11:20pm was the quoted time) and nothing. I had yet to see an assigned driver or anything. I called the fast food place and they were super nice. They said my food was done and they were just waiting on a driver. I'm not leaving this review on behalf of the driver because even though he was 2 minutes late (11:22pm) he apologized and it's not the end of the world. I am leaving this review because 1) I had to call to make sure I even had a driver, and when I told the lady that my food was now quoted for 11:25 to 11:35 and asked if I could have a refund for the delivery fee because it was going to be late she argued with me and stated that it was still on time. How on earth is that still on time from the original quoted time? There was no, "That's only a quoted time, it looks like your driver should be on time," or "If he arrives after X time call us back and we can help, or anything. Just arguing with logic and actual evidence that my order time had been pushed back. The driver saved the experience with how nice he was but I simply cut the lady off as she argued with me and said, "Thanks for your time I will be switching back to Doordash." and left it at that. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to say, "I'm really sorry about that, I will put in a suggestion to our developers that this should be fixed/changed in the app." or even just, "I'm really sorry about that these are just quoted times so sometimes it can take a little longer." I should not have had to call to see if I even had a driver assigned to my order and the fact that that wasn't even recognized or made to seem like it should be fixed in the app was mind blowing to me. There are other delivery apps that run smoother based on my experience. As soon is my order is in, I have the name of a driver shown on my app and I know everything that goes on until it hits my door.

This company likes to cancel orders without telling the customer that the order's been canceled. Their customer service thinks everything is real funny. Make sure you don't order anything from this garbage $#*! company.

Very frustrating time ordering for the first time. I kept seeing $10 off first order but had to call them to get it... That was the first sign that customer service was confused about their product because they kept asking me the same questions over and over about how I could get this. Then, no way to track food because restaurant delivered it... Also the app messed up my zip code... It changed it to the wrong one after i carefully put in right one. That being said, I usually give drivers a heads up about similar address, in area... I had no number to contact. Then the delivery driver said he's outside my house and he was at wrong address. Then he was hostile in tone with me and hung up after giving him correct address. Then driver was defensive to me when he, delivered food. Meanwhile I had already called customer support about delivery. The agent said well who's fault is it, perhaps implying that I put my address in the system incorrectly! I called him out and told him to never accuse the customer and that he was being rude, especially since I took my time explaining the app glitch. Called back another agent after being put on hold for a long while. She was helpful in a way... While still following a weird set of agent rules. She said my refund is dependent on whether the restaurant wants to give it to me? I said not only was food fairly late but I was treated rudely. She said that was only way... So called customer support back again and asked for supervisor after repeating my frustrations. Fortunately, i got refunded for order after 2nd agent texted me... but after so many tries I was pulling my hair out. All along, the app has a bug...

I have waited 3 hours for ONE MILKSHAKE. I have waited 2 hours for the wrong order. I have waited 2 hours for cold food, and for food that never came. Absolutely horrendous service.

This service is terrible, I dont know how they stay in business. Ive ordered with them 3 times. First time was good. Second time, food was expected to arrive up to 45 minutes after I ordered. I didnt get it until an 1 1/2 later, after calling the company twice and verifying with the restaurant that my food was ready and waiting. They gave me a $10 credit. 3rd time was last night, the same thing happened, I waited, called the company twice and ended up going and picking the order up myself. The restaurant had to remake my food because it had been sitting for an hour already. Its just very poor service, as soon as I place my order, the driver should be on the way to the restaurant. I will only use uber eats now!

I would like to say that the customerservice representative Sowmya P was very courteous, and efficient in solving my issues. However, the Restruant refused to give me a refund because the egg fried rice was free because of lunch time menu. However, the egg fried rice was not spicy as I requested had no onions in it and they didnt tell me that I couldnt get onions or that they dont come with onions. My egg fried rice was caked which means stuck together which usually means old rice. I dont care if the items which comes with the lunch special is free it should still taste good and be fresh. If not dont offer it. Im very disappointed in Mr. Chen Authentic Restaurant here in Homewood. Alabama. I give them a -0 for Customerservice and for there food a - 2. Dont order from them because you will not be happy. Im very happy with the results from EAT 24. Thanks Sowmya P. THE WORST - the absolute worst. They FREQUENTLY cancel orders AFTER you've waited an hour and longer for food. It's absolutely ridiculous. And then they give you a "discount" on your NEXT ORDER. Forget it - I'm Uber Eats all the way. Screw you Grub Hub.
