Horrible

Used GrubHub for the first time today ordered my food at 8:15pm from Five Guys and got a call from the restaurant to tell me the food has been done and is waiting for a driver to pick it up around 9:10pm, I call GrubHub for them to tell me there was no driver available the dude on the phone found a driver at 9:30pm and I didn't get my food until almost 10pm. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!

The food was absolutely perfect for each of our entrée's, freshly made pasta dishes to skirt steak seared just right! Now for the grand finale... their desserts Oh My! Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and the Berry Crumble are a must have for any sweet tooth! Thank you

I wanted to leave feedback with the company before I closed my account.

Unfortunatelly, you can't do either of these things, so I just deleted my data and will leave review here. Also, I will monitor the execution of a refund of my last order that was not delivered at all, and I will report it as fraud if they will not refund.

Most prominent and consistent issues over 5 orders:

1) Delivery time is too long
2) Food temperature is barely acceptable
3) The last order was not delivered at all because of the lazy/dyslexic driver.
4) Customer service first tries to accuse the customer for problems, even though customer pays premium.

So thanks, but no thanks!

Terrible.

I have tried Grub Hub and not happy at all. Either restaurant is no longer affiliated but is on the site. Takes your money and then cancels. Next try waiting 2 hours for delivery. Unacceptable. Will not use again.

After today, I will never use GrubHub or Eat24 service again!

So I placed an order for an expensive meal that I got during lunch which was to be around $20.00 bucks and with everything included $30.00.

Well, I was at work and waiting, but noone never showed up. Just so happened I checked online and it said my food had been delivered but it hadn't been.

I called them and they claimed that they tried to call me when they was outside of my house... um ok. Why not just knock on my door like every other normal delivery person?

Long story short, they REFUSED TO give me a refund... they refused to resend my food out to me and after I spoke with with a very rude and condescending agent, I was able to speak with a manager who provided me a two promotion codes... one for $10.00 and the other for $20.00...

Well, I wanted a refund but they refused to do so... Also, you can only apply one discount code at a time, so I would've been left with paying the additional $10.00 dollars out of pocket! AFTER I ALREADY ORDERED MY FOOD, PAID AND STILL NEVER RECEIVED!

Who wants to eat cold seafood?

Anyway, I called them back because the lunch special was now off for what I already paid for, and it was now back up to $45.00... I asked them what they could do... and they told me when I could make my mind up to call them back because the only thing he could do was to apply the $20.00 code and I pay out of pocket and they could only refund me for the $10.00 from the original order but now that the food is off lunch special, there is nothing they could do about it!

THIS HAS BEEN THHHHEEEEEE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE!

They were so rude, nonchalant... uncaring, unhelpful folk I ever seen in my life...

And guess what... I still didn't get my lunch, no refund and have two codes that I can't even apply!

So I guess they are enjoying my seafood on me!

I am so hurt, angry and disappointed!

I love GrubHub, but as many posts indicate below, there's some fraud afoot. Someone ordered chicken and other items to a state on the opposite coast from where I am, and about $200 worth. I have never ordered something worth that much from them, I have actually never even been to the state it was ordered to, and my diet prevents me from eating anything that was ordered. I chose to call the restaurant first and was hung up on immediately, making me think that the restaurant was fake. It could have been better when I called too because it took me more than 30 minutes on the phone to cancel this order. I don't think that they should have to check with the restaurant for that because saying you didn't authorize the purchase should be enough to put an immediate stop to it.

I had a fraudulent charge on my credit card to Grubhub! They don't make customers validate their identity when using a credit card. I live in a village of 800 residents in Michigan, and someone in New York ordered from Grubhub, and had it charged to my credit card! Still don't know how it was hacked, but they need to validate who is using a credit or debit card! Horrible, this shouldn't happen to anyone! My card is now cancelled, and a dispute has been made!

I ordered food and something was not delivered correctly. That would not bother me. But spent an hour and a half trying to get GrubHub to correct the problem at the end of which (an hour and a half later) they told me they would contact the restaurant to see if it would refund my money. The WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ever. Was told a manager would call me back, Still waiting.

Stay away!

0 Stars! I recently had ankle surgery and thought Grubhub would help my dilemma of getting food without having to venture out on crutches. I am so frustrated I couldn't take it any longer. I have placed 45 orders in just over 3 months. More than 2/3 of the orders have something wrong with them because of how they are handled by the drivers. They consistently throw the food around their cars, don't read the order notes, and shove the food at you when you arrive. The final straw was receiving my pizza and soup from CPK today that was stuffed sideways into their red delivery bags. The delivery guy was being driven around by someone else and spoke no English. He approached my door and opened the bag to have me remove it for him (most likely because he was afraid of the spilled food inside" and looked at me like oh well when I questioned how is was being carried. The customer service rep sounded like a robot with repeating "sorry for the inconvenience" a hundred times and had no real care about the point I was making about the type of people that are working for them and representing them. Stay away like the plague!

Horrible

Horrible service your better off going and picking up your order you will save time and money. Horrible customer service. Never received a confirmation of my order but my credit card was processed immediately. Called Grubhub and it took the agent 30 minutes to locate my order after repeating herself several times stating that my order was not placed and that it never went through. Horrible service will not use grubhub again.

Never again

Tried to use this app last week while on vacation in Las Vegas. Tracker told me my order was delivered only it wasn't. The driver told me it "wasn't her problem" and hung up on me. Really? Whose problem was it? Mine? No. I contacted grubhub directly and asked for a refund and was told they don't do that and could only give me a discount code even though I live in small town Idaho where Grubhub doesn't even exist, not that I'd use it again anyway. I just think a refund for a pretty expensive order that was never delivered should be an option and it's bs that it's not and that I was treated so rudely by the driver. Denise in Las Vegas should look for a different job. Awful experience.

I ordered for delivery with the order total after tax and all fees coming out to $19.25. Driver never rings doorbell but I did miss their calls and they never answered back, so I call customer service and ask for refund. They wouldn't give me one, but offer me a $20 promo code so I'm like okay that's fine. Turns out "Scam and Eat 24/7" won't allow the customer to redeem the code unless they match the order minimum of the promo code, BEFORE TAX AND DELIVERY FEES. So essentially they want you to pay more than you did in the original order/delivery(that they screwed up), in order for you to get the customer service that you should've gotten in the first place. The nerve. Avoid delivery through this peabrain middle man company at all costs!

I am mother of a very active toddler. I work long hours and dont have time to come home and cook. I decided to trust my gut and order from food to be delivered from Grubhub. I placed my order and waited two hours for my food. Come to find out the driver lied about delivering my food and I told the customer service team. I asked if they track their drivers they claim they do not they dont. I called the restaurant to see if anyone came but they never showed and my food sat there. I managed to scream my way to a refund. And the restaurant also said I had to pay in person for my food if I wanted it. So lesson learned Grubhub is the worst company around for food deliveries. I will never use their services again and I hope there corporate office gets this

I placed a big ($107) for delivery from GrubHub. I did not receive any bread and I was supposed to get 8 slices. I had marked to received pickles, peppers and onions and did not get any, and I had asked for 2 sides of baked potato salad and got 2 baked beans. I called the restaurant and the young guy who said he was the manager, Isaiah, argued with me that it was my fault, then it was Grub Hub's fault. After I pointed out exactly what it said on the order, he agreed it wasn't my fault but that he couldn't fix anything. I called Grub Hub and they couldn't do anything either. Finally, after 2 more phone calls, the restaurant agreed to refund me a whole $2.09. Then, when I finally go to eat the cold food, it was terrible! The meat was greasy because it had been reheated from yesterday. The macaroni and cheese tasted like terrible cheese powder mix. The bologna and sausage was obviously leftovers from yesterday and reheated. It is such a shame to pay that much money, get terrible customer service, then get terrible food on top of that! Save yourself some heartache and eat at Oklahoma Joe's!

Worst service

This has honestly been the worst service I have ever had. I have ordered three times from Grubhub for kentufky fried and every time the order comes wrong I would not recommend this service for anyone. After calling and telling them that my order was totally wrong they told me I was out of luck would not locate my correct order this is bull $#*! excuse my language its not cheap for your service at least do your job right and if you cant close the. Business

Please note that I will not be using EAT24 or GRUBHUB again unless absolutely necessary. The resolve for refund and customer vs vendor response is poor.
The food was not edible (fish undone) and the company refused to refund full order. They claimed the fish was done and would only refund me for the rice meal I complained about. This isn't my first issue but will be my last where the old "customer is always right" motto just doesn't ring true with Grubhub. Fool me once...

Tried to order a pizza through Grub Hub. We never got the pizza. They goofed up our phone number. They claimed the pizza was delivered when it wasnt, then when their customer service was called for resolution, they refused to give a refund. The only thing that they would offer, was 2 separate gift certificates that could not be used together.
Absolutely and Utterly ridiculous. Will never use Grub Hub EVER again.

I thought I would try this door delivery and choose Grubhub. I ordered with side sauces and salad dressing on side. It arrived pretty fast and no wonder cuz the driver did not bother to check order for side sauces.
I call Crack Shack they told me to call Grubhub. I told him my salad was a hot one and by the time your driver brought dressing it would be cold. He informed me "Oh we won"t be sending anyone". The guy at Grubhub told me he had to check and call back. When he called he said "Well for the salad we will credit you back and for the dipping sauces for chicken we will give you 5.00 off next order". I laughed and said do you really think I will order again, that is a big NO! And I already had a 5.00 off my next order because It was my first time.

So this is crap. He was a jerk and how hard is it to check the order you are delivering! No rocket Science.

These guys are the worst. I drove for Postmates when they first started so I know the routine. These guys were just bad all around.
