Terrible service

Order kept getting backed up 30 minutes (3 times) for arrival time. After and hour and 40 minutes I called the restaurant. They said the food has been waiting there for a driver. I told them to keep it there for me. I arrived to pick up the food and a driver still hadn't showed up and the restaurant was closing in two minutes. Uber eats is getting my money for now on. I would need the service fee refunded and free delivery for a month to even begin to think about using Grubhub again. They keep offering me one free delivery that I have to use within two days, as long as the food order is over $10 and delivery charge is less than $4, really? After I literally had to put on clothes and leave my house to pick up my own food which was cold and soggy and already debited from my bank account due to your negligence. Goodbye money grubbing hub

Ugh, everytime ai order from grubhub my orders always get delayed by 35mins- and hour and that is ridiculous to me. You should be open and honest and let people know when there aren't enough drivers for an area before they place their order. I am completely unsatisfied with grubhub and will NEVER order through them again. Doordash is always on time 97% of the time.

The absolute WORST.

Save yourself the frustration of cold food, overcharges, inability to order & endless hassle & just use a different service. GrubHub doesn't care about customer service & has the worst app of all time. Even their website doesn't work properly. I'd love to delete my account but they won't let you. All I can say is I will never, ever use them again.

Always a doordash customer, my friend recommended grubhub so I decided I'd give it a try. Pre-ordered at night for lunch the next day, order got cancelled immediately after the supposed confirm time for the restaurant. You can't cancel order either, as you are required to call the restaurant directly. I am deleting grubhub as soon I get this delivery. Bunch of idiots.

This might just be the worst company in existence. Not just the worst delivery company, but actually the worst company.

My order was being delayed for no reason, so I went to chat with them to ask what was going on. But wait! They have no idea why it's delayed. "I request you just wait longer."

Are you freaking kidding me?!

Then, the agent told me that the driver was unreachable and there's no way to know when the order would be delivered.

When I told him that GrubHub was awful for providing such terrible customer service and that Uber Eats is infinitely better, he chastised me for being rude.

And on TOP OF THAT, he then told me that the food was ready at the restaurant and just sitting there, but that the driver simply just never went to pick it up.

So you'd think the story would end there, right? Wrong!

I then left a negative review of the delivery and the customer service in the app, and what did they do? Instead of taking it as criticism to be improved on for themselves, they POSTED it as a one-star review of the restaurant, a restaurant I really like and where I am friends with the owner. Of COURSE I didn't want to give his restaurant a one-star review!

Predictably, they do not offer a way to edit or delete reviews, even if you're the one that made them. So I contacted them again - how do you think that went?

The agent was just as rude, telling me there was no way for him to delete a review - rather, he'll put in a request for deletion, and it will take 7-10 business days to be reviewed.

So I told him, sorry, I'm not going anywhere until you remove my review, or transfer me to a manager who can.

To which he told me that there's no way to do this and just ended the chat.

Honestly, I hope this disgrace of a company goes out of business as soon as possible, I will NEVER use them again, and that's a promise. I hope others stay away from these awful, awful people.

I ordered some food from Taco Bell. When it asked for my address and phone number the info was automatically entered and it looked correct, but it wasn't. Totally my fault because I didn't check it. I got an email saying they tried to deliver it but couldn't because the info was wrong. I called the 800 number and had trouble understanding the agent with the strong Spanish accent. She said that since they tried to deliver the food, that they couldn't make a second attempt or refund my money but would give me 50% off my next order. That was unacceptable. I will never use grubhub again and I will tell everyone I know not use them.

I waited AN HOUR AND A HALF for my food and finally called to find out what was going on and they told me the restaurant's tablet was not working and they weren't getting orders, so they basically blamed it on the restaurant! I spoke to restaurant (who I believe as I have ordered from them several times before) and they said they had cancelled working with them long ago and Eat24 still had not cancelled their account online. I told them they better figure it out somehow because Eat245 is blaming them and making THEM look bad. Eat24 did not care AT ALL. Didn't even apologize (genuinely anyway). They were like ok well we'll process your refund. As if that feeds my family and I or even makes up for the inconvenience! I am HANGRY and I will also 100% NEVER USE EAT24 EVER AGAIN! Why would I when so many other delivery services exist that ACTUALLY HAVE CUSTOMER SERVICE?! Save yourself the trouble and ORDER FROM SOMEWHERE ANYWHERE ELSE!

3rd time, this happens: Place order, hour or so, third party calls and says, 'Unable to place order". WHY TRY? Don't? Get Uber eats even if more expensive, at least it will arrive!

If you like your food to sit at the restraunt only to never be picked up, then grubhub is for you. I ordered some Mongolian grill but I got Ethepoian food, aka, nothing. They can eat a flaming bag of babboon $#*!s.

They changed their delivery time frame three times. I paid for a specific item six times and never received it. I had to call twice and was on the phone on hold for 19min for Eat24 to tell me there was nothing they care to do for me as a customer. When I advised of the worst service received Eat24 did not care to lose me to their competitors. Grub hub is a horrible company. Now united your worse.

My first time order was canceled. Supposed to receive $10 off 1st order. When order was canceled, they said I had already placed my first order so I could not get $10 off my next order. They offered me $5 off my next order. I don't understand, the first time I use them and they cancel, l and then they don't want to offer me the same discount as a first time user? Not sure yet if I will try it again...:-(

Ordered at 6:10 pm, they said 45-50 minutes to deliver. Next update delivery at 7:30 pm, next update delivery at 8:10-8:20 pm, next update delivery at 7:55pm. THEN at 7:57 pm they call and say the restaurant cancelled the order and we will get a refund in 3-5 days. An hour and 47 minutes after order was placed! Called restaurant, they did not cancel the order, GrubHub did. We better get that refund in 3-5 business days or will be going to the Attorney Generals office and news stations!

They failed

Driver forgot my drink and blamed the restaurant; she told me to go back online with grubhub to deal with it. But she still got to keep her 20% tip. Grubhub also tacked on an additional fee that was not made aware to me at the time of my selection and purchase. It took them 6 days to respond to my inquiry only to blame the restaurant. I'll stick with UberEats.

If I could, I'd give a 0. They screw up the order every time. 3 of the times they cancelled my order after making me wait 2 hours and the 3rd time the driver that was assigned to my order REFUSED to deliver my order! Customer service did nothing but give me a "sorry"

My first ordering experience was extremely disappointing beyond words. Food wasn't delivered until 2 hrs and and it was cold and not edible. Customer service put me hold more than 15 mins and it is was incredibly ridiculous. Never ordering again! THE WORST EVER CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCE!

Wrong Order ALWAYS

I have used grubhub 5 times through yelp. Every single time, they get the order WRONG. I keep trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they honestly suck. One time, I had my wisdom teeth pulled out, so I ordered boneless wings since I had a major headache and didn't want to step out of the house. I ordered honey bbq since that was the only flavor that wouldn't infect my gums. When I received my order, they gave me SPICEY CHIPOTLE SAUCE WINGS ( which would severely irritate my gums and cause an infection). Like... really? How hard is it to order something correctly? I refuse to use yelp now because of Grubhub.
