Ridiculous. Grubhub gives you directions for how to cancel your account but those instruction's stymie your attempt immediately by putting up an ad for membership. Never saw the promised "cancel button", did find something that will remove my info "in 45 days", nothing ever said "account cancelled".
I ordered tacos and cheese quesdilals, they arrived cold like they had been made hours ago. I almost puked eating the food. I was offered $5 in grubhub credit like you can't refund the money to my card when your service is the $#*!tiest ever? I threw the food out in the garbage. I don't care about a refund. Thanks will definitely be in business with you in the future (NOT). $#*!s.
If there is a mistake in the order, wether it's the customers fault or a GrubHub's.they are unwilling to correct the mistake.
Ordered online and use grub hub. The last two times we wrote a message to the driver stating to please knock on sliding door. Both time our food sat outside for over 20 min before we went and looked for it.
I was participating in an online conference and ordered lunch meals through Grubhub. During the window for delivery, I saw a missed call on my phone. This happened to be the same time I was waiting outside for the delivery, and I was informed the food had already been delivered. It took over 20 minutes to prove that they were not deliveries and that I had come to my office door twice when the doorbell rang, thinking it was the delivery. Following the long conversation about proving there was no order delivery, I was informed that I had two options: get a refund or place another order. Unfortunately, there were less than 20 minutes left for the lunch break. This bad experience was so untimely because this was the day I was not working at home. I was informed that a supervisor would call me in 15 minutes. This experience made me wonder if the re-order would be safe to eat and if this had happened to other people. I also wondered if this was happening to people who had to spend time on the phone proving that they did not receive the orders after they had even paid for delivery, as well as what this means to a senior customer who could be waiting for a meal delivery to eat on time.As I write this review, I have not received the call or received a meal. How does management address such bad experiences, or how is the credit that was part of the conference handled since I did not receive the meal or get credit? I gave one star to the customer service rep, who eventually accepted after 20 minutes that the meal was not delivered. I wrote an email to the corporate and conference organizers. I hope that the program organizers can use more reliable services. I also hope that management will consider a valid ID at the time of delivery so that the customer does not have the same bad experience as I had while attending an essential online program. I expect that I will get to hear from the supervisor.
Our selected restaurant is 5 minutes from the house. The driver picked up the order. Then Grubhub adjusted the delivery time to 31 minutes. They added other orders to ours and sent the driver to deliver the other orders first. We will NEVER use this company again! Note the time in the screenshot. And we still don't have the order!
Will not order from Grubhub again. Half of my order was missing. Contacted Grubhub and they refunded the missing part, but wouldn't refund the driver's tip or fees. Why aren't drivers verifying the order? Called restaurant and they said driver forgot to take the other half of the order. Sucks. This is the 3rd time I've used Grubhub and had something missing - no more!
I placed an order with GrubHub which I immediately canceled due to the wrong card being used. I then reordered using the correct card. Needless to say I've received two duplicate orders one of which I sent back to the store. There is no customer service number on the app. All I could do was "CHAT" WITH GOD KNOWS WHO MACHINE OR WHAT! I only discovered a number to call when I got a text asking how my delivery was. Needless to say after talking with the customer service agent and a supervisor I could not get my money refunded to the one card. I only kept one meal I should have only been charged for one meal. I got the same generic answer from chat, customer service agent, and supervisor verbatim! We are sorry but it shows that both orders have been fulfilled so we cannot credit the one card back! Food was terrible service was terrible overall this is the worst food delivery app I have ever encountered. Every time I have ordered there's been a problem needless to say I have deleted the app! And I'm going to dispute the charge with my bank! Buyer beware!

This service is the worst. Ordered food and milkshakes ask for delivery to be handed to me. Instead order was left out in sun. Driver did not answer calls and was unable to track. Still awaiting refund.
I just had my first delivery of food through Grubhub. I am an Amazon Prime member and was offered a 2 year free delivery service with Grubhub. This offer was too good not to accept it! Tonight, I decided to try it.
I was happy with the service. I received my food within the stated time frame. This in itself is remarkable because I live in a rural area about 15 minutes from Chico, CA. This service isn't cheap but getting food deliveries out here is darn near non-existent. The driver was nice and he obviously used GPS to find my residence. Good job.
I hope this service remains as good as it was tonight so that I can get food deliveries on a regular basis. A very welcomed service for me. Thank you.
6 times tonight my delivery was " rescheduled" to a later delivery time. Driver won't answer texts or calls. Customer service is absolutely useless stating they won't help until the delivery hasn't shown up...which will NEVER happen when they keep changing the times. Finally just cancel the damn order and now they say 5 days to refund the 80 dollars that they charged in just minutes. Worst service EVER!
It's impossible to delete your account. There is no direct way to delete your account after they keep your personal and payment data and sells it for money. You have to submit your email and they send an email with a link to confirm the email and submit a request to delete your account. This also doesn't work. If by any chance company fulfills your request to delete Grubhub account then also they will keep your data. Leeches. Worst service. Hope people who run this s**T hole rot in hell
I have used Grubhub for years, but I cancelled my membership after customer service refused to refund my order. The restaurant said no order was received when we went to pick up. The app claimed it was ready. I spend ~$200 er week with Grubhub, but this was the last straw. Never again. My time is valuable.
It was an okay experience,I preferred them over door dash, but GrubHub ran an unauthorized background check on me I haven't worked for them in almost 7 months. I have since moved to a different state and renewed my licensed in the current state I reside in, I no longer live in Delaware, but because the last license I gave the was a Delaware license they took it upon themselves to run my Delaware license for the background check I never authorized. I emailed the company who did the check, and they told me it would be investigated. I just recently got a email saying my background check failed. Of course it will fail I no longer use that license it's expired and I have a new license, but I am no longer interested in working for GrubHub. I never failed a background check before. I don't think it's right, the fact it's that easy to use my or someone else's information in that way. I want to take legal actions I'm thinking of reporting them to the BBB. Unbelievable...
GrubHub sucks
GrubHub sucks! My deceased son was an authorized user on my credit card and opened a membership in 11/2021. He passed away in 3/2022. I paid off the credit card we shared but every month $10.88 come out of my account every month for the last 15 months and I just pay it thinking service changes or something. Finally I look at my statement and I've been paying them unknowingly. I called them and told them the situation and to cancel the membership. They said I have to log in to cancel. I don't know my son's credentials. I asked them to reimburse from 3/2022 to 6/23 and they said I need to contact my credit card company if the charges were unauthorized. They were not unauthorized I just didn't know my son got the membership. It's a big mess and they don't care. My advice, check your credit card statements monthly. I will be reaching out to my credit card company who I'm sure will reimburse me. DO NOT USE GRUBHUB!

Ok if I don't get the napkins and plastic wear ok but the butter and dipping sauces NEED to be included in the order. I've ordered them from their web site but have never gotten any of them. If it's the driver that should check to see if order is correct/complete then it's the driver that has failed every single time I've used GH. I'll be deleting my account later today. When I've tried to get help regarding these issues I'm told " it won't happen again" but it is S T I L L happening this late in the contract. Months later still not receiving complete ordered and not getting any help from their customer service people
Can't get simple orders right. The times for delivery are never right. I deleted the apps. Permanently.
Left out an item from a place that ordered immediately but guess what, they can't deliver it. That's it for them.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
Answer: LOL... no kidding right! How can places take 2 hours to get food to you and not necessarily at a peak time. Good luck! Hope you were able to cancel it, but wonder if it showed up in the mean time. For this reason I no longer use a card but pay cash when I get the food. Hope you've managed to eat something by now.

Answer: Answer: Grub Hub does suck big time. No real answer. If you like cold food, delivered late and an "oh well" customer service attitude, Grub Hub is the company you should use.
Answer: They just don't care. Company motto must be "customer comes last". They simply trying to salvage whatever market share they can before they get bought out by a superior service that actually cares about customers.
Answer: Nothing. By this inaction I would say to quit using this bad business. Go with UberEats or maybe try getting your own food.
