If you want items shipped fast use Amazon(comparable prices). Promised two day shipping and it was met. Promised 4 to 7 day delivery after shipment, should be met as FedEx has it after 2 days of processing. Expected faster processing, Amazon always beats their ship date in my experiences. Groupon lived up to its obligations and has good deals but prefer to be impressed not standard shipping policies.
I purchased several items quite pricey in other places. When nly one time I need it to return an item it was fast got my money and never regret buying from them.
My item never arrived at home, the customer service just say that " ask for you package from your neighbours or write a email to royal mail "
I lost £100!
I'm amazed at how frequently I find deals for the things I want to do through Groupon! If there is a show or event in town that interests us, we always check Groupon first, and have saved a good chunk of change already this year! :)
2 weeks ago I bought tickets from group on from a advertisement in my email. The 2 tickets to the PBR in Chattanooga cost me 70$. I never got a confirmation but the money was removed from my checking account. I could find no way to contact them and therefore had to repurchase the tickets 2 days before the event. I of course did not purchase from group on and immediately got a confirmation number and information on how to print the tickets at home. As I look at my bank statement today I see the charge from group on but again no way to contact them. I will certainly never purchase anything again from group on
Have been with Groupon for years and have used the same credit card (Amex) for years. Placed an order for 4 items one night (on/about 9/28/2016).
SEVEN DAYS (7) LATER (10/5/2016), I receive an email saying there was a problem processing the Order No. Xxxx. (I now realize I never received a confirmation of the order because I didn't have an order number before.) WHY DID IT TAKE 7 DAYS TO NOTIFY ME OF A PROBLEM WITH THE ORDER?
The email said they had a problem with the credit card and to please check card on file and update if necessary. Using their link, I did just that. I saw there was no misinformation or error in the credit card info. Also, my Groupon account shows no record of this order even though Groupon assigned it an Order #.
Nothing. No OK or confirmation of receipt.
I reentered the card information. Nothing happens for a couple of days. So I emailed an inquiry through their Contact link. In fact I send several emails. No response until days later when I get a series of canned responses which have nothing to do with my problem.
I finally call and get through to an offshore "customer service rep". I explain I checked my credit card account and there is nothing wrong on my end.
By now, almost 2 weeks after I placed the order, one of the items is no longer available.
To make a long story short: I end up having to repeat the story of my order problem to 4 different people, including a "supervisor" who did not call me back in the time frame promised and was about as helpful as a plate of cold noodles. So I lose out on the item my husband really wanted and they can't even acknowledge that maybe there is a problem at Groupon's end.
I am now so frustrated and angry at the waste of time with this series of useless "service reps" I cancelled my Groupon account entirely.
Groupon USED to offer good value for some well-chosen products/services and dining at local restaurants.
Now Groupon is no more than a "middle man" marketer/sales for sometimes shoddy, goods and services. They're just order takers. They refer you back to the vendor/merchant. Groupon has become too big, too disorganized and too far flung to do, or care to do, anything to help customers when there is a problem. Heck, they can't even admit when the problem is with them.
To those who bought groupon,
If you think you have been scammed by Groupon. Simple. Go online or call your State Attorney General. File a complaint. It is easier than you fear it would be.
Groupon settled with various State Attorney Generals' or are under investigations precisely for many of the complaints I read here.
Here is the California AG's site. oag.ca.gov
If groupon claims they done nothing wrong then they got nothing to fear from increase scrutiny.
I always look for good deal's and coupons but usually they are not as good - in the old days you could find great deals. Now I think they just there and no great deals are ever posted anymore...
I have been using www.groupon.com for over 2 years now. I absolutely love if you are a coupon clipper person this site is for you. Groupon is better savings than a coupon and it covers you for whatever area you are in from restaurants to adventures to hotel stays you always come out a winner but only if your into savings.
I purchased an offer through Groupon for 1-800 Basket. The offer was $20 for $40 in goods. In trying to use the offer, Both items I selected had no delivery charge. However when I went to the payment page, one of the items suddenly had $14.99 in delivery/shipping charges. This is an unfair business practice. Any benefit they might have received from my purchase is gone because I won't use them or you again.
This is the second time I have purchased items, then a few days later I get an email that they have run out. This is inexcusable, how hard is it to have a quantity at the beginning of a sale and then stop when they are all sold! I will be shopping elsewhere from now on.
I purchased what was advertised as a groupon for an "fruit bouquet" turns out that its really only fruit baskets. I immediately emailed groupon to get a refund. I never heard back and now the groupon credits are expired. I chatted with a cs rep and he couldn't do anything because their policy is to not refiund any expired credits. Even after I explained that if they would have responded in a timely manner, this wouldn't be an issue, he still responded that he couldn't do anything for me. So now I'm stuck with a false ad for something I didn't want and can only use half credit fir what I aid for it to begin with. I'm just going to use living social from now on.
Bought a groupon for 4 (women) to travel to Bahamas. The resort that we're going to is being investigated for a brutal rape by hotel employees on a patron over this past weekend. Now we are 4 women who are supposed to travel to this resort! I call groupon to see if we can change resorts. What they can do for us. NOTHING. When asked to speak with a manager I was hung up on TWICE and then the third time was told they would call back and never heard from them.
No were either staying at a rapist resort OR out almost $2000!
Subscribe for the Groupon and they email you good deals!
Today I took a Groupon for a complete package for men grooming kit which include facial then massage and finally a moroccon bath. As planned I book a 6 to 9 slot. Started off with facial wherein the gentleman did not even speak what he will do and complete the entire session WITHOUT uttering a single phrase which was disappointing. Later he guided me to massage I was never briefed what kind of the massage or what will he use. This guy spoke broken English asked me where am I from and he said he's from Kerala. That's it I confirmed this will also be a disaster. He started of massaging using an oil. When asked he said it's herbal oil with lavender extract. The smell was awful and it felt like pukingvall the while. He just applied oil all over with no massage whatsoever. He is a total disappointment who knows nothing about his profession. I wanted to get rid of this guy but unfortunately the same Kerala person came and did moroccon the bath which was the worst bath of my life.
I rushed home and showered 2 hours to get rid of that nonsense oil smell applied all-over. I wished I had gone to some xzy massage centers at least I would been entertained with a chilling climax.
Totally waste of time and money. I will never recommend anyone nor dare take Zari name. Zari is sorry.
Only good about this is the place is nice good and clean and spacious but services and satisfaction is total disaster. Totally riding on brand name of NMC.
I made a purchase on groupon. First of all the item took 1 week for my item to be shipped. I emailed them to check status after emailing them I received an email that my item was shipped. I received the item and it was not what I have ordered. I contacted customer service and was told probibly about 100 times they were sorry but nothing could be done. I was also told that the item I had ordered was "no longer." The rep stated that I can send the item back for a refund but not sure how long the refund was going to take due to the item that I had purchased was thru a 3rd party. When I purchased the item it was thru groupon when it was deducted from my account it was thru groupon. When I received the package it was packaged in groupon bag. Now I have to spend my time, my gas to go to the post office and send wrong item back. In which it was a mistake made by "3rd party." I was also told by Rep that groupon only advertises for 3rd parties. Groupon tried to offer me a $5 coupon for future purchase. Why would I want to order from them again if they can't get my order right in the first place. So I was provided for cooperate phone number. Tried calling them I would say around 6 different times and each time it was busy. That just told me right there how many people are complaning about their customer service. So from here on out due to their poor customer service I will never order from groupon.
I use Groupon when looking for entertainment options for the family and out-of-town guests.
Groupon is useless when it comes to getaways. The dates are very LIMITED to the prices they advertise! They are usually vague when it comes to room details and specifics. If a resort or plantation has multiple properties you will not know which property you may be staying at. Groupon says to call the hotel for specifics, and the hotel says to call Groupon.
I am absolutely livid with the appalling he customer service delivered by groupon! As a busy single woman I have little time to get to the shops and therefore rely on the online shopping sites. I will admit I have had no issues when ordering from Groupon! However, when I reached an issue with the delivery of my sofa I discovered the horrible side to the company! I have spoken to so many representatives I have lost count and I still have no resolution! I ordered my sofa on the 05/08/2016 and to this date I have no sofa and no refund!
And I feel at a loss going around in circles with the staff, not one person will resolve the issue and keep coming back to me saying my sofa has been delivered iWeb infact it has not been!
I have left countless complaints via email as that's the only way to do so! They will not pass me onto a manager and I now have now have to take the matter up with my bank and also trading standard! If I could give them minus I would because no way in hell should a company operate like this!
Someone must be held accountable for stealing my money and not providing my goods and I will see that this happens.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.

We're sorry we can't help as this is a Groupon deal review.
