I spend way too much time (and probably money) on this site. They have great deals on discounts at restaurants and on products. This is one of my go to sites when I need something different for someone. Love it!
Love the savings! Sometimes you need to shop on other sites like amazon to be sure your getting the best deal, but 99% of the time it's on here! I'm addicted to the savings! I have only ever had one problem where the product I ordered isn't the one I received, but they quickly accepted my return and refunded my money.
I purchaed 3 shirts from them (three seperate orders, each with a $4.99 shipping cost), to be sent regular delivery. They sent them via courier and i had a COD of over $13.00 to pay before the goods would be released. So I had to pay to get the merchandise. My next step was to send this info (with pics of the invoice, packing slips, and receipt) to customer service to ask for a refund of the extra shipping charges.
Well, their responses are brutally slow and all they're doing is passing this off on the carrier. They're telling me to contact DHL to ask about the charges. I understand the charges. I do not understand why a "ships only within Canada" shipment is being sent to me via expedited courier when I only chose and pis for regular delivery. If they chose to increase the level of delivery service without my permission, they should pay for the increase in costs. I paid $4.99 per shirt for delivery, then another $13 for the expedited delivery. What a joke. Trying to pass this off on the courier when they're the ones who need to explain their decision making is just terrible customer service.
They are very nice for the price and was a much better price than Amazon or other websites.
I have used Groupon for the past five years. This site is the best for sending gifts. They have some of the most unique items I have seen. I have recommended the site to my entire family and all my friends. I love the rule that you never lose the money you paid. GREAT COMPANY!
I purchased what was suppose to be solid 14kt hoop earrings in October. Received in November. Have wore only a few times. Realized today that they have already turned the color of copper. NOT solid gold. And can not return them. Done with Groupon. ByeBye
If you ordered something off of Groupon it generally takes a looming time for it to arrive. Like very long. But its actually pretty cool to use when you are going on a trip and you need a good deal, or a cheap spa day. It does come in handy for those things.
I ordered a groupon for photo Christmas cards from zazzle. They were ordered on 12/7, when I received the cards, they sent me any other family's photo. When they could not meet the deadline to get me my cards in enough time to send them out for the holiday they refunded me all expenses I had. They then returned the Groupon to an unused status a I was advised to contact Groupon directly for a refund since it would expire shortly after. When I first contacted Groupon they said they could refund to my credit card or Groupon bucks. I asked for the Groupon bucks. They then got back to me again and now said it was nonrefundable. When I explained what happened they basically said they couldn't do anything. I replied again and was told i could get a refund of an expired Groupon. Customer service is terrible. They still don't understand what the issue is. Will never use again and would advise all not to use them. The vender was able to make good on their side but not Groupon.
A lot of these offers are complicated and unrealistic. Also not as great on savings as they appeared. A little research would goa long way b4 you buy.
So simple to find everything. I check before going anywhere lunch, dinner, outings, etc... The value is amazing. I have learned of so many stores and services available within my community due to groupon
I use groupon.com all the time. It s a good source of value shopping but you should read the fine print before buying a deal.
Bought Christmas gifts still have not got then, it is now new years and they don't want to refund Money. They tell me to do all this crap to see where package may be. That is not my job. So now I need to fight the charge on my credit card. They may have cool cheap stuff, but not do chedp if you don't get it!
Bought a groupon and have no way to use it. And price is less expensive on website. Tried to return it but they refused. Even tried to get a credit and they refused. Groupon-good bye!
I've had so many issues with Groupon that I'm just done with them. First time I used it back in 2011 I made an order which was never sent to me. But thankfully did get a refund. Another time I ordered a deal for non laser lipo, but every time I tried to call the merchant, they never had any appointments available. It took a lot of complaining to even get my 100$ refund! So another time I ordered a Groupon for hair extensions and when I called the business they said it was false advertisement. I stopped using Groupon for local businesses after that because it just never worked out for me. Then up until recently I made some orders for Christmas altogether. I ordered Matte lipgloss and waited two weeks and got nothing- not even a tracking... when I contacted them regarding this they said it was a dead tracking and would issue me a refund... ok? So with that I also ordered vr glasses for my brother and naked 3 urban decay eye shadow and a bracelet for my sister in law. I never got the bracelet in my mailbox sent by usps even when it said delivered, they told me they could not issue a refund because of the first incident where they refunded me the first time, but screw that I instantly spoke with the manager and got my refund because I told them I would not stop contacting them until I get my refund! Then my brother tells me the virtual reality glasses was crap. Misspelled words on the box and no detailed instructions on how to even use it! Then the "naked" eye shadow was also fake! Confirmed by a makeuo artist in Macy's that I asked! Groupon is full of businesses that are scam artist and Groupon doesn't give two sh! Ts about anything. I'm done with Groupon and they can kiss my a$&. They have false advertisement and should be shut down for good! Nothing but a bunch of crooks!
While the atmosphere was nice, the food was not. The size of dishes (huge) and their presentation made the food less appetizing. The quality of the steak was not prime as advertised.
Ideeli closed it's doors, in effect. Groupon's takeover created a website that is absolutely NOTHING like Ideeli used to be. Cheap clothes, shoes, and products, and not a SINGLE designer in the bunch. It sickens me, really.
I bought two kids tablets from Groupon on 12/14/2016. I was told that the order would ship in 2 days and shipping would take 4-7 business days. It is now 12/29/2016 and I have nothing. I contacted Groupon three times and each time I was reassured that my products are still arriving on time. It actually took them 8 days to even process the order and they shipped it out only after I first enquired about my order. The customer service is terrible, as it does not answer any concerns and it is totally worthless. I will never use Groupon again as they lied to me on multiple occasions. I am still waiting on my product and will demand refund asap.

9 days later i had to chase them to find out where the problem is, chat didn't work, i called and the customer service couldn't help me

Bought a Groupon for an Escape Room experience. The Escape Room website didn't work and they never answered a phone call from me to schedule a visit. When I contact Groupon for help they attempted to contact the business but were unable to get in touch with them either. Because this process took longer than 3 days after my purchase, they were unable to refund me my money.
Groupon is a middleman that doesn't even gaurantee that the things you buy from them will actually be delivered. This was an experience, but if what I bought was an actual item and it took longer than 3 days to arrive, Groupon will not reimburse you.
That's not just a poor online experience, that's just a terrible company in general. While other companies like Uber and Amazon strive to do more and spread by word of mouth, a company like this deserves to go banrupt.
They can keep my $69.95. But be warned, cut out this middleman and look in the papers for its ultimate demise.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
