Dealt with 3 people none of which knew what they were doing. After one hour and fourth five minutes finally got to a supervisor, not only was she not friendly she refused to help me as a customer. Now I work in retail and there is always a way to help the customer and she did everything in her power to work against me. So people if you ever want to get a Groupon strongly think about the problems that surrounds it. They have no customer skills or care for doing right by customer if I could give a negative rating I would. Will never use site again couldn't even enjoy my dinner due to pure lack of intelligence on the so called "customer support team" what a joke support
I have never experienced a problem with Groupon. The only criticism I have is that the I wish the coupons would have a longer usage period.
I have had several negative experiences with Groupon. I have been deceived, lied to and given the run around.
I bought a large tv for $850, that was advertised as refurbished. When I called the manufacturer regarding a warranty repair, I was told that it was NOT refurbished. In fact it was a previously purchased item that had been returned. There was NO WARRANTY because it was a used item!
Another time, I purchased vouchers for massages. When I attempted to schedule an appointment to use them, I was informed that there would be an additional "Service Fee" in addition to the vouchers!
I contacted Groupon and complained and was issued a refund.
I also purchased a "Refurbished" iPhone. First they sent the wrong phone. I contacted Groupon, and all they would do is credit my account if I returned it. I insisted that I did NOT want a refund, I wanted it replaced! That was not their policy, so after speaking with three more people, I was suppose to get a replacement. When I received it the headphone jack was so dirty it wouldn't function. Then it started going dead at any time, regardless of the battery level. Again, I tried to return it for a replacement, and again I was offered a refund rather than a replacement. I was to get a refund and re-order the item for $60 more!
As I said in the beginning; Groupon - a good idea gone bad!
I shop online with Groupon and I love their email notice on reduced pricing on quality products and swift and reliable services.
I have ordered about 10 vouchers on Groupon and 4 of them turned out to be for companies that went out of business, had recently fired almost all their staff, moved to an area that was no longer within an hour drive of my house or simply did not deliver the item, period. On each occassion Groupon had a different response. (a) "it has passed the cancelation period" for a product that I actually ordered and was not delivered. (b) We can only exchange this for another item (even though the other services were not located near me (c) a credit to my account
When I complained Groupon eventually just said, "well, we respect your ability to complain."
I am not sure how a company is allowed to stay in business if they sell products that are no longer available or represent companies whose services are not what is advertised.
Please be carefull better pay more money and other web because aI buy 3 times diferents products and the res are freking fase. Omg I cant beleive that... I never ever buy nothing more in groupons
I've been using Groupon for years now and never had a problem. I've saved a fortune on gifts, treated myself to trips away and enjoyed a few meals out.
Great Service
WHEN YOU ONTACT SOMEONE LIKE GROUPON AFTER YOU HAVE A PROBLEM AFTER YOU BUY A IPHONE YOU PAID 400.00 FOR AND IT CONTINUES TO HAVE PROBLEMS AND THE REP FOR THE COMPANY SAY'S ITS NOT HER PROBLEM, SORRY YOU KNOW YOU HAVE GOT THE SHAFT.
I PURCHASED A IPHONE 6 FROM GROUPON AND AFTER POROBLEMS ONTOP OF PROBLEMS I WENT TO THE APPLE STORE TO FIND OUT THE PHONE HAD ISSUES SINCE IT WAS PURCHASED IN 2014 AND JUST WAS CLEANED BY GROUPON AND SHIP TO ME AS REFURBISHED! REFURBISHED MY BUTT! PLEASE PROPLE DO NOT! I MEAN DO NOT BUY FROM GROUPON! IF I HELP ONE PERSON NOT TO GET BURNED LIKE I DID I WILL BE HAPPY! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE CROOK'S!
I have been trying for 3 days and multiple emails to try to cancel the deal that I have live at this place, where I basically not make enough money worth offering. They resort to telling you one stupid thing after the other in order to not cancel your deal.
Horrible!
Do not use!
Very unhappy with groupon services!
They were Unhelpful and didn't care about the problem that arose after i bought a couple of groupon vouchers.
I have been a customer at the groupon website for a very long time. Used there website to do holidays, fundays out with the family or even just lunch.
1 out of the 5 groupon vouchers i bought was wrong. Upon explaining i had no use for the voucher. That i couldn't use it even if i wanted to and that i would like to swap it to the same as the others from the same company, just different place. They pretty much said " to bad so sad" about the exchange.
Groupon deal was great.
Parked at casino and used $25 free slot card and parking was free.
Had extra time and went to humane society.
It's very small and full... With all the money that passes through the hands of falls view casino and the big hotels like Hilton, the oaks, Sheraton. I wish they would donate a few dollars to help the shelter.
Please if you have some time drop in and walk a dog or pet a kitty.
They are very sad and could use the help.

What A Mess Groupon is! Cheap Everything! Totally Unappealing Look! Ideeli WAS AMAZING! Beautiful Designer Clothes and Shoes At Extremely Reasonable Prices! Beautiful, Appealing Pictures, Layout! IDEELI, PLEASE COME BACK!
I can usually find good local deals on entertainment and dining. The only reason I didn't go with 5 stars is you have to make sure to read all the fine print. Many of the deals have restrictions on when they can be used.
Some of the ads are not worded well.
Some things are coming from the us and it does not state Canadian or us well enough.
Lots of savings on dining places. Mostly local but, even when traveling, have found some helpful. A nice way to try out somewhere you haven't visited before. Easy to obtain.
I recently listed two products for sale on Groupon and was quickly blown away by how disorganized their company is. They have one portal for listing products with one set of log in and passwords and a completely different setup for interfacing with them about the products on the other portal, with a completely different set of log in and passwords. During an online chat with them to resolve some issues with the listings the person on the other end couldn't be bothered to answer any questions, they simply copied and pasted stock answers that had little bearing on my questions or issues. And then half way through someone else arbitrarily took over the chat on their end and didn't bother to read what we were in the middle of discussing.
Avoid Groupon at all costs! They are NOT worth it.
I purchased a Groupon Local deal for a relative for Christmas. I then discovered that he was physically unable to participate in the activity that I had purchased for him. Now I'm being told that Groupon just keeps the $88 I paid for the deal & won't refund any of it, even though no one will use the item I purchased. That sounds like fraud to me.
I recently booked a hotel through Groupon's website and had to cancel because of a personal decision. First of all, I was within their 4 day cancellation policy because I called on the 3rd day and then was given the run around on the phone with this girl from Asia. She asked why I couldn't make it and I said it's bad timing. She claimed it's not a good enough reason and I called too early to cancel the reservation. WTF!? I was furious when she told me that. I also emailed them and they stalled until the next day and claimed it was past the cancellation policy and couldn't get a refund. I replied back by email and said, "YOU GUYS SUCK! I'M NEVER GOING TO BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU EVER! Then I got an email back mentioning they will issue me the full refund, but get this in Groupon credit. I don't want your stupid credit from you guys I told the supervisor Ryan M. That wouldn't give out their last name. I want my money back! I told him that's why you guys have bad reviews because your customer service sucks! They will purposely stall to take your money. RUN AWAY FAST AND DON'T LOOK BACK! I HOPE GROUPON GOES OUT OF BUSINESS!
Groupon has afforded me many great experiences and meals.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
