Groupon has no customer service at all. Emails are returned as non-deliverable. There is no way to get a hold of anyone. Never again
I ordered 5 items I try to track them they say it's been delivered and I didn't receive anything I e-mailed them and I got a notification saying I can't email them because my messages have been blocked
Been shopping here for some time and I cant fault them! Dont mind the many emails they send every day! I love looking through to see whats on offer.
Awesome experience with Carrie. I came in with a picture of how I wanted my hair cut and man she just copied it perfectly! She also gave me some advice on how I could make my hair healthier and tips on brushes to use and techniques that most stylist will not give out. Wonderful person too she genuinely wants to make you happy when you leave. Great Groupon price and excellent customer service.
I bought a group on I could not use. I was fine with them not giving me a refund but why not credit. If the group on where to expire i would get credit so why not right away. The don; t lose money giving me credit so what make me wait for the group on to expire to get it? All that does is just piss off the customer.
The brain thought behind that makes me think the government is running thing over there. I will wait to get that credit and it well be the last money I spend with them. Not like the are the only one's selling this kind of stuff.
I purchased two chairs on December 7 for $519.58 and they sent me a tracking number and the arrival date (DEC 19) using FEDEX as a carrier. (tracking number: **************)
On DEC 19/2017, I called Fedex because I did not received any items and FEDEX said that they only created a label but never sent anything. I started a dispute with my bank to claim the money they stolen me. I also sent the notification to Better business biu-rouw in order to alert other people. I had trust in GRUPON but lately they are allowing unsecured companies to sell on their platform. And now these things happen (SCAM). For this reason I DO NOT DECLARE THIS SITE AS RELIABLE.
Also, Groupon does not have a phone number to call, so, I just send emails but I did not receive any answer. Finally after put a lot of reviews on social media, they contact me in private telling me that maybe the tracking number was wrong and the items were on the way. But there are 14 days after I purchased the order and I did not receive anything. My bank gave me back the money. But the essence is that they did not matter about my problem, they did not import with my problem, they did not contact the seller to inform about the situation, but they also had the nerve to tell me to order it again. It is the worst experience in buying online. For me so far, the company that is selling the chairs called "Esfir Accent Tufted Velvet" is still a scam. I did a review to alert others and they left me in pending. That is, nobody can see it.
I ordered a package on the 9th of December and it said that it would arrive on the 15th. It didn't arrive and I patiently waited checking my tracker and my emails only to find that once I contacted FedEx that the package was shipped back to the sender because they had difficulty finding my address. Not only did they not inform me that the package was returned to sender (complete b. S.) I contacted them and I can't receive the package before Christmas. One would think that a company as big as Groupon could handle package problems. I will not be purchasing products through Groupon any longer. -Thanks for ruining Christmas.
I have found no end of good deals at groupon. Only ever had 1 problem transaction and they refunded me and send a courier out to collect the item in question which was good of them.
Ordered a jacket way on 11/12/2017 it states receive in 10 business days here it's 12/18/2017 still no jacket emailed customer service they keep telling me to reach out to the merchant SISTERSTORES How the $#*! am I supposed to do that with no contact information can't even find them on Google you would think if I done emailed over 4 times you would give me the information I'm demanding a refund they're still saying reach out to the merchant I will never order anything off Groupon ever again they need to start putting background checks on their bogus $#*! merchants. Least if I would have went to Wish they would have assured me of my items and the correct time frame. I suggest don't buy anything from Groupon cause you might not get it.
I did the majority of my shopping with them. I really enjoyed myself without the crowds. I will give one input. This is across the board. Companies attempt to save money with the automated services. BIG ERROR! HUMAN contact is a must! Computers brain capacity is INPUT! HUMAN Input. But they have no feelings. HUMANs get frustrated and get turned off. PLEASE! Get away from this practice!
I'm on limited income, I had a 18.99 voucher for something else I ordered and didn't use it. I tried to order AIR MAX Trampoline Park for 15$ for 4. It did NOT go through. I tried on more than one occasion. I was using what was left to get my son a restaurant gift card. Well it went through for10$, again I tried gonna pay difference with my debit card. To NO AVAIL, so I tried to order my daughter 2 different restaurant gift cards. NO IT DIDNT GO THROUGH EITHER! I FINALLY ordered a bracket for my daughters bday on Jan 30. Groupon keeps sending me emails with same crap on it. I have asked them on 3 occasions to call me f they really wanted to get this straight. Been 2 weeks still no call. GROUPON CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
Purchased a drone for my son so that it would be here in time for Christmas. It arrived December 17th without the remote in the box. Here is the transcript of my conversation

No offer to replace or ship a new one before the holiday. No offer to even try to fix the mistake. My last time using Groupon.
Why do they refund my orders without a reason? I receive offers to buy groupons, and then when I do, they refund them. Why would I ever use Groupon again if they just refund any deals I get?
Bad, I bought a Groupon and the place never answered, they gave the option to change it, so I did and I have a trouble again and they do not answered.
I had problems to redeem two vouchers... The first time the service provider wasted time to redeem it, until the voucher was expired.
The second time, the the service provider said the voucher was invalid, refuse to redeem... What a joke!
In a hot day, it's to save $10... really waste time!
Some good deals available; grant you that. Most deals for businesses you might not do business with otherwise; not so good. Discounts change frequently through sales and coupons but they manage to end up at about the same end cost (the deal is a marketing gimmick).
Customer service is a nightmare. Phone support is message saying go to our web site and help yourself. Link after link are dead ends, landing you at their first support page. Every phone number you find says they don't support phone support and go to their web page.
I have been charged twice for the same product on the same day on 2 different credit cards. You would think billing support would be readily available... NOT! Spend your time circling through their useless web pages. Even PayPal doesn't know how a customer can contact Groupon for a billing question or dispute. My time is much more valuable than what Groupon is saving in customer support costs. Done with them!
Very misleading and poorly laid out promotions. Event dates are often limited and may not be used. Terms and conditions are hidden way deep in the site and these purchases are not covered by the Groupon Promise. Vendor was not paid either. The vendor said they would honor the purchase for other events so they were great. Groupon is horrible.
Buytopia used to run much better. I have a shipment outstanding since the summer. Everytime I ask they say "it is coming". This is baloney. I want them to credit my credit card but they won't. They take your money and then don't provide any assistance. Now you can't talk to anyone as they have no customer service on the phone now. Stay away. I like the merchandise they have but I will not be ordering anymore from them. I just hope I receive my outstanding items by 2019!
Horrible Company! At the begining they were good when they had a customer support line, but now they have none, so they can save money. They are a greedy deceitful company, with no high reguards for quality control or good customer service. They now hide behind the mask of the internet, so reaching out to them and getting a refund is nearly impossible, and takes (3) weeks or longer. Most of my Christmas items I ordered were "all" wrong & they basically shipped out whatever they wanted. 'Bait & Switch" and throw whatever in the box and ship it out. Extremely Poor... Customer Service! Don't throw your money away! :'(
Tried for an hour to place an order, can't find phone number to talk to live person, can only live chat or email. They (2 different reps) could not figure out why their site would not process my order. After reading all the comments here & Consumer Affairs glad the order didn't go through. Would NOT recommend, use Jet.com have had great experience with them
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
