Groupon has some good deals but if you have a problem and your issue is not addressed by the frequently asked questions area then their customer support is non-existent. They have no phone number. Their customer support email address is no longer active. Their on site chat and email options are visible randomly and never during their non-business hours. Clicking customer support or contact us sends you in an endless loop from frequently asked questions to help and back again. There is absolutely no instruction about how to get help. Seems pretty simple to me. But I guess it's that same old big business tactic of wasting your time and getting you so frustrated you give up on getting a resolution for your problem.
Groupon customer service is the worst I return two items and they only refund me one and claim they did not received the other.

And never got them. Its almost impossible÷ impossible÷ to talk to a person. I want my $40 back. And I will never order from here again. What do you do?
Purchased a GroupOn for 2 tickets
When I arrived to use them it showed up 4 times with 2 as pending and 2 as refunded without the ability to use them at all. I couldn't open or click on them. I knew none of that was right so I looked through the groupon customer service options with only email available. I called my bank and they said the purchase never was taken out of my account and nothing was pending. So I purchased the tickets at the counter to be able to attend since GroupOn let me down. Several HOURS later while I was already there, GroupOn charged me. Almost 2-3 hours past when I called my bank in line. Also, 4 things still show up for it in my list (when there should only be 2) and they told me there isn't anything they can do about the situation. Now as 2 purchased and 2 refunded- which they claim is impossible. They stuck me with something out of state I already attended, now useless to me. There is no refund available, no exchange available and they're uncertain if it can be transferred to another name? The fine print doesn't say it's going to have technical difficulties and be unusable to you and then charge you hours after not working and being useless with no real way to contact a person promptly. Way to clean up your own mistakes. We loved spending an extra 218 on your bull$#*!! Get your tech side together or fix your mistakes. Why are we paying for them?
Valentines Day surprise was just that. I had ordered roses but got carnations instead. For $52 I had hoped a nicer flower group would be delivered. I'm very dissatisfied. Don't buy the inter floral Groupon deal!
They have no customer support. I was charged for items that I had canceled and they had acknowledged I cancelled I did not receive items but was charged for them.
No customer support useless crappy products, false advertising and refunds denied. I order a pair of leggings from Angelina's soft leggings... was sent 2... more like panty hose, luckily it had a built in skirt! Also spent 28 & on a phone tripod that is just the stand no cradle or anything else as advertised... no returns or refunds and it's useless. They have the same item on Amazon for 15 $ w the actual accessories.
Groupon does not honor their own policy. If a business does not honor expired groupons then it will be refunded. Stated clear as day on the Terms of service when purchasing any from Groupon directly.
My account got deleted by Groupon itself. I have $80 maybe more credited to my account and to my surprise when attempting to take advantage (since it's MY MONEY) Groupon didn't have my email or login on file. When attempting to try 'forgot password' it states no account with that email exists.
For a long time Groupon user... they're stealong my money. I feel cheated and robbed.

I ordered two bottles of Hemplucid from Groupon because their price was 50% cheaper than what I usually pay.
I received the two bottles quickly but noticed right away that there was no CBD in the gummy bears. I called Groupon and I have no idea how I got them on the telephone but they offered no solution but a $5 credit on the $127 price that I paid. I googled Groupon reviews to see what was going on and noticed that they had already been charged with selling fake goods. Pathetic and no customer service. Stay away
Stay away from Groupon. They charged my credit card for $ 1800. 00 for a stay at the holiday inn 5 weeks from now in the same town that I live inn. Their response to my complaint was that nothing was wrong with my account and that I probably did it by accident. This is ridiculous, Groupon is a thief
I purchased an oil change off Groupon for $25 and once they completed with my oil change it was a total of $52 at a local oil change place it's OK to have fine print but you guys are running a scam to get people inside of your location and Groupon is allowing these things to happen so be careful when dealing with Groupon or the people that are selling on Groupon
So my groupon expired but on the info it stated amount paid never expires as most do. However, apparently they do because im out $30.

I am now waiting a full 2 months for the half of a bed that never arrived. Customer Support are nothing short of disgraceful, I get a reply to them every 2 days and they simply offer me store credit, which is no good to me as I am never shopping with Groupon again. Might be handy for a voucher for a trip away but their lack of respect for dealing with the issue is disgusting and shameless.
Some items excellent, some terrible. We bought a garden table which broke the first day we had it. Very difficult and costly to return, could have sent photos of the (now, useless) table, but Groupon not really interested, so no refund. I keep telling them we are nowhere near the city they keep sending me vouchers for (restaurants etc), and what our nearest city actually IS, but despite promising to look into it, they haven't.Don't think I'll be using Groupon again.
After almost 5 years of hoping Groupon has improved before returning to use, I see now they still have not invested any of their money into Costumer Service. Still no number to contact to resolved complex issues. For the third time in my personal experience Groupon has permitted another terrible company to take money, send or provide garbage or no service at all and then provide no way to be re-paid, refunded and no one to talk to. I'm out almost $300 from another scheming Groupon partnership with a company called CanvasOnDemand. Terrible way to do business.
I've ordered three items from Groupon. ALL THREE had issues. Not once did I receive a refund. Twice they didn't deliver my items, once they delivered a month and a half late. The companies Groupon represents won't respond to my requests and Groupon won't do anything about it. Instead, they want to give me another "deal" where I spend even more money with them. Are you kidding?! NEVER ORDER FROM GROUPON. You might as well throw your money in the trash.
I paid for three nights on groupon for the country inn and suites hotel in Savannah. When I showed up groupon sent a message to the hotel prior to me arrival that we paid for only two nights. Therefore I had to pay for an additional night on my cc. The hotel said that I have to call groupon. Groupon said there was nothing they could do and did not admit any wrong doing. Finally after a week of going back and forth and they gave me groupon bucks which I did not want because I just wanted to end our relationship with Groupon. I can afford to do business with a company that does not have the best interest of their customers in mind.
We brought the hotel Groupon for a clarion hotel on the coast and after leaving the hotel printed a received showing normal charge of 84.62 but we paid 135.49 and overpayment of 50.87 and no one is willing do anything other than a song a dance to get you off the line.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
