So far everything I have purchased has been exactly what they advertised. I have purchased Golf packages, nail salon certificates, massage packages, and other things along these lines. No hidden fees or hidden prints.
I check Groupon daily and use their local deals often. The only complaint I have is that some of the 'goods" deals take forever to arrive. Especially save$ with beauty and health and restaurant deals. I have also purchased many gifts such as facials or massage on groupon, again could not depend on a goods deal to arrive in a timely manner.
I have been purchasing item from Ideel for many years, lately their customer service is horrible. I purchase 3 items, they only sent 2 and did not have the cutesy to tell me why the other one was not sent, I sent them a email, they send the item would be shipped between May 5-9 so far nothing has been shipped, When ever you place an order the item is always delayed, it is as if you have to send them email to remind them, lousy service
Please do not take anything from Groupon as they take the money and will give nothing. I have booked hotel from Groupon and confirmed over phone but when we visited that place the hotel owner told us that there is no any booking over here through Groupon. After several mails to Groupon we have not received our money back. Even you could not find the number on time. So please don't go with Groupon.
I have purchased so many different things from Groupon. Dog beds, couch covers, Home show tickets, Excel courses, etc. I have been pleased with everything purchased. If you purchase and don't use the money still stays there for your next purchase. A win-win. I will continue to purchase from Groupon. It also is city specific so you can get goods from your local city. Awesome.
Went to "live chat" with ideal.com and was promptly satisfied! Wanted to return and item that was soiled and they told me to keep it, or donate it and they will return my full purchase price plus shipping!
Excellent customer service!
Placed order for mixed traditional meats at £29.00 at last minute they confirmed delivery and when I looked at the order they had changed it to chicken box, instead of pork, steak, chicken and mince beef they were sending me chicken breasts chicken thighs and wings.
No comparison and you can't speak to them by phone to discuss the order.

I bought a perfume on groupon that I've bought a dozen times at Macys and JCPennys. The one I received from Groupon was the wrong color and smelled musty and old. It was clearly defective and not at all what was shown on the website. I have been trying to get a refund or credit for weeks. Groupon says a refund or credit is granted if product is damaged or defective... But even after sending pictures they do not stand behind their promises.
Groupon sent three product orders to the wrong address clear across the state from me. It was the address of a friend that I had once sent a gift Groupon to. I contacted CS and after four email exchanges they could not even understand the problem. They ended with there was nothing they could do since the products had already been delivered. They made no effort to acknowledge their mistake or to help get

I live in Canada got the deal for a hotel in Canada - Niagara Falls and Groupon charges me in US dollars? I could have just called the hotel direct and booked cheaper. When I read the fine print showed nothing for Us only said I would pay parking 30 CAD and a couple other CAD were pointed out. When I booked the deal it showed on my receipt $187.00 didn't say CAD or US. I emailed CSR at Groupon they said I should have read the fine print it says US and I say BS so watch yourself with this company they rip you off as if you need to even read fine print to see what you are charge. I will never use them again they danced around all my emails. They even removed the deal from my profile now cause it says nothing about US. I asked them to prove the deal said US and they never got back to me. I have deleted Groupon off my computer and much better off.
Used Groupon until they forced me to view X-rated products for sale without my consent. Would not let a child use the application unless you want them to see vibrators, ejaculation items, vibrating panties, etc. Is Groupon in such financial trouble they have to compromise their company valued.
I feel like I've been dooped. Spent over $2,000.00 for a FAKE Saint Laurent handbag. Anyone with any sense can take one look at the bag and be rest assured it's a fake. If I would've known, I wouldn't have spent my money here. Also, the bag I received looked nothing, I mean nothing like the picture of the bag I thought I was purchasing. I'm sick to my stomach. And the item is of course non returnable. I can not believe I spent my hard earned money on a fake that expensive... just beside myself.

I made a purchase in March for my best friends bday. I didn't know until after the purchase that it would be sent out by April 13-17... So it said! Those dates came and no package so I emailed about it. Then I chatted so I cancelled it by chatting with someone online so I thought! The next day money was taken out of my account! I called and had to leave a message on an answering machine! No return call! A couple of days later the package was sent. Once again j called the number and was quite pissed! A lady called and left a message saying she check records and I had only contacted twice! Lies! I was at work btw and she called back again leaving a message saying they were processing the refund just to send the package back one I got it! Well that's was Late April! It's may 9 and I still have no damn refund! Or incentives! Stay away! A complete scam and thanks for ruining my best friends gift!

Dealing with Ideel is like going to a restaurant and ordering a delicious $15 meal. After the first few delectable bites, you bite down hard on a nail, that had fallen into your food from an old rusty kitchen utensil. You suffer a broken tooth and a lacerated tongue, both of which require a few hundred dollars worth of medical attention. The restaurant apologizes profusely through their waiters, none of whom are authorized to refund your money or offer any compensation.
This is what my experience of dealing with Ideel in the last four weeks has been like. I have been sent the wrong items on 3 successive occasions and although I have promptly returned them. I still to this day have not received a refund for the most expensive item. I have had a series of conversations with various customer service reps, none of whom apparently have the authority to issue a refund. The cost of this transaction in terms of time and effort, not to mention frustration, and lost interest, is absolutely staggering. At this point I have neither the merchandise nor my money.
I have today made a formal request for immediate refund of my money, and have again been told that a "senior rep" will call me. I do not need a phone call I just want my money back. I don't why this is complicated.
Ideel's quality control is so shoddy, and their trade practices so disingenuous, I don't understand how they stay in business.
I will keep you updated on this saga. In the meantime, BUYER BEWARE.
I have been shopping online since 1997. This is the first time I have written a review like this. For the most part my experiences with other online retailers have been very positive.
I am sorry that Ideel does not see the need for efficient and transparent business practices.

First and foremost, I have gone ahead and issued your refund. You should see the refund on your end in 3-5 business days. I see the agent you spoke with on 5/1/15 advised you we were investigating with the shipping company as we were unable to confirm the item was included in the tracking number. As mentioned in the email, this investigation takes about 8 business days and today was only the 4th business day so your return is still under investigation. I sincerely apologize that this was not clearly explained and realistic expectations were not set for you. We strive to be transparent in our processes to avoid additional frustrations regarding wait time.

I purchased the laser vein treatment. I have had the saline treatment and been very satisfied with instant results. I find once i have purchased the treatment takes 8 weeks to see results and most people need 2-3 treatments. It is painful may leave burns and bruises. During the 8 weeks you must avoid sun. My reason for treatment was to have nice legs for my vacation in April. My vacation was 6 weeks after treatment becuase they were booked up for 2 weeks. My viens looked worse not better after 6 weeks. I did not want to do another treatment and wait another 6-8 weeks to see if it worked, or i would maybe need 3 treatments. This would be a total of 16 weeks for 2 treatments. It will be July by time i can be in the sun. I expressed my dissatisaction, and was told that i was jumping the gun. I need to give it 2-3 sessions to see if it works. Also there are no guarentees. I should have done the saline solution like before. Why would anyone want to wait 16 weeks to see if something worked or not? Laser also cost more in the long run the saline was the same price as 2 laser treatments. Not worth it at all. I wasted my money.
This is the worst company ever. I buy most of my stuff on line. I bought a dress, it was polyester! Horrible Horrible. The name brand Sun Glasses I bought were used, so stretched out I could not wear them, they fell right off my face, and of course "No returns" I will never do business with them again. I should have read about them first! Don't buy from them

You may choose to receive either a store credit for the purchase price of the item and free return shipping, or a refund in your original form of payment minus a $8.95 return shipping charge. I purchased a Groupon for lash extension for a wedding. When I tried to book the appointment the estitician was booked all of may through August... mind u the Groupon expires in 90 days. When I called groupon cs to see if they could extend those 90 days the woman said no. I should just gift my groupon to someone! After waiting almost an hr to even speak to someone this was her response. I will nevery buy another groupon again.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
