I bought vouchers for skydiving, I drove a while and had to pay a deposit. The place canceled due to technical issues. The place did not refund me all of my deposit. I am not from the area and cannot just go another day. I tried getting in contact with Groupon and no luck. They take forever to write to you because there is no phone number available. After going back and forth for weeks they refused to give me my money back and are giving me credit. I don't want to use their services and it's disappointing. After I use the credit that they will issue me, I will be removing the app and never using it again. Save yourself the headache and if there is businesses that take Groupon, get in contact with them and try to negotiate with them directly
If you don't have a problem and you just accept what you receive and don't receive you will have no issues. But, if you are the type of person who wants what they paid for then it will be next to impossible to get your issue resolved within a day or two or three. They use the tactic of making everything as hard as possible, in the hope that they will tire you out and you will just go away.
I ordered from Groupon through Klarna. I never got the merchandise and they are trying to say that I did! Why will I waste my time every Sunday since January calling Klarna(the middle man) and get mad about this? Klarna is the only company thst will answer me and they are out of the whole amount because they paid Groupon already!Ridiculous now they owe me &8.75 and really I don't even care about that I just want them to cancel and stop lying and just tell the true! Do not order from Groupon ever! I will give you guys -5 stars because really they are not honest!
My account got hacked and multiple groupons were purchased. Even though they were listed as pending, I could not cancel them. No phone number and the "live chat" simple escalates your problem and leaves you waiting. After starting a 3rd chat I was finally informed that I would be emailed with a resolution after waiting over an hour. Meanwhile, all of these Groupons are still pending, potentially costing me thousands of dollars. I did disable my payment account, but no one will confirm if that will work as the groupons already went through.
My son accidentally purchased two child instead of adults tickets to Universal, for the run around to try and pay difference before wasting a trip to California. No one helped up when I texted last year and this year had to go through two other people to get the assistance we needed. MIND YOU UNIVERSAL ASKED FOR REDEMPTION CODE I finally get from Groupon and now they can't help. This has been a nightmare. No one even cares. They got their money why would they?
I purchased Denver Aquarium Package and it said processing may take up to 2 hrs. At the same exact time as my mther got her package and hers went through immediately. I wait 2 hrs and nothing! I contact customer service and explained we were going the next morning and this needed to be rectified now because we are going in the morning, have reservation time slot already and it had already been after the 2 hr mark. She said I can check you credit card numbers (huge red flag!), but it could take up to 24 hrs and I cant do anything plus she said that well the system doesn't show that the purchased failed or anything. I once again explained that this is not accurate because at this point my mother bought the package I did as a backup and yet again it went through immediately. So she said I could cancel my order and place another, I said no cancel it completely and I will never be using this company ever again! BS that nothing could not have been done further and to ask for someone's credit card information with out an ability to do anything is a huge red flag! Be aware of this company, all crappy products from china and they have sketchy people working there, with terrible customer service.
My account was hacked. I saw the fraudulent charge immediately. I couldn't get into my account as they changed the password. Went on their site and tried to chat. Was disconnected FOUR times after spending hours each time explaining. Finally sent an email and received an automated response. I am still trying to get my money back months later. The chat service is useless. After providing all the documents they request they disconnect and you have to start over. Same goes for email. Without any live phone support I will NEVER use this service again. BEWARE!
Groupon and there merchants are fraudulent and scam artists. They will take your money and you will not receive your merchandise. Buyer beware! Do not do business with Groupon or you will regret it. You have been warned!
I ordered 3 sets of sheets. Had to pay 3 sets of shipping. 2 sets of sheets arrived in one bag. 1 set of sheets NEVER arrived and was supposedly put in the original bag (could not have fit). I reached out to Groupon and they supposedly forwarded to the merchant. I waited and didn't hear anything. I reached out to Groupon again and they forwarded again. Same thing. The next time Groupon said they had escalated and to wait 24 hours. Nothing from the merchant. I reached out to Groupon yet again and was told it was escalated again. When I pressed the representative, I was told that it was escalated with the highest priority. Groupon will not provide the merchant's contact information for me to reach out directly. The last thing that I was told was that this would be forwarded to the Goods Marketplace team. I would like my sheets or my money back, but all I have received are $5 Groupon Bucks. Completely dissatisfied and an epic waste of time and money.
I purchased a groupon on 12.26.22. The merchant refused the groupon that day. The same day I contacted Groupon. They would never cancel the charge, refund or give credit. Buyer beware - if it looks to good to be true it is!
I purchased tickets to the Field Museum in January 2023 from Groupon. I selected the All Access pass from the drop-down menu, which their site says includes general admission plus exhibits and a 3D movie. I received the Basic Admission pass when they delivered the actual tickets; however I paid the price of the All Access pass for those tickets. The only way to communicate with their customer service team is via live chat or email. After days of going back and forth, they refuse to acknowledge any of the screenshots of what their site promises vs what they delivered. They simply say I purchased the Basic Admission, which I clearly did not based on the choices on their site. You cannot talk to a real person, the don't acknowledge any evidence you provide, and they just tell you all sales are final. I would never do business with them again after this experience. A complete bait and switch scam with no customer service.
Seems like every time I try to order something on Groupon. It is nothing but a headache. I think the people that place I had some there or a hoax. I recently thought I was ordering a Brazilian blowout hair kit, come to find out, they never sent me a confirmation with a tracking number but yet they wanted me to go ahead and Use the voucher so they could collect the money on it. This is nothing but a hoax and Groupon knows it and they backed these people for this reason I am out. If you want to keep your money and do good, stay away from Groupon and the other thing that product was supposed to have been $35 and they're charged me $49. I had five dollars in Groupon bucks left and now it has disappeared. This company is a fraud I think the Better Business Bureau needs to know about this fraudulent company.
I ordered a set of bamboo sheets on Groupon. The composition was supposed to be 1800 thread count with 40% bamboo and 60% microfiber. They sent a set of sheets named "1800" that were 100% polyester. I've contacted them over and over and I get no response. It's coming on 3 weeks. The lackeys that send you the canned responses have no authority to approve or process a return. Unfortunately Groupon has gone down the drain. It's my last time using them. This "we can't answer your call for the health and safety of our employees" crap is just that, crap. This is how they disregard your request for refund.
They had the audacity to tell me they would add $5.00 "Groupon bucks" to my account after I told them I was done with them. You can see that on my proof of purchase.
When they send the wrong product, they should automatically refund you, rather than say only the merchant can issue the refund. Don't fall for their tactics. The last time I had an issue they told me they could only give me a credit, they couldn't refund my credit card due to COVID.

I am using groupon from long time & experience was good before i bought refurbished iphone12 pro. I want to return this iphone because of audio & camera issues. I raised request on a chat with customer care on 29 dec 2023 but no response from groupon. More than 15 days now. Their customer service is very bad. They keep telling wait for 1 day/3.

I bought some holiday gifts using Groupon and I paid more for the items because each item charged a delivery fee. The system continued to stay pending so after about a month-and-a-half, I contacted the company because I had not received everything I had ordered. I asked them to cancel the items because they were holiday gifts and I had not received them. Because it was 30 days after and although their system still said pending they would not refund me. This is the worst customer service I have ever seen in a company. I have worked in customer service my entire life and I would never do something like this to a client. Buyer Beware!
They lack effective controls, to say the least, over their Merchant Marketplace. Ordered a product that was never delivered. Took three attempts to get a "full refund" through their less-than-efficient customer services and at that the refund did not include amounts for taxes and shipping/handling paid. When presented with this omission Customer Service Rep was indifferent at best. Is it even legal to charge taxes and S/H fees for goods not delivered? I'm guessing not.
Dont buy any coupans becasue its a tricky ammount and after that seller need more money and if u cancel

I ordered 4 solar LED window candles but instead received a string of colored solar Christmas lights. Tried to chat and email them with no response about returning/reordering/refunding purchase. Finally I contacted my credit card company which credited my account and I assume is trying to deal with them. Not a good company to deal with.
I purchased 2 mani pedi packages as a gift for the holidays, when we tried to schedule an appointment the merchant said they were closed for the next few weeks. I initiated a refund with Groupon the same day of purchase. Groupon issued Groupon bucks, when my credit card kept the $117.00 charge I inquired about the refund and was told it had to be in Groupon bucks. Not to mention the chat agent was kind of dismissive when I inquired about the cash reimbursement as opposed to the Groupon bucks. Long story short I'll never use Groupon again. The merchant wasn't faulty and then they kept my money zero stars, inconvenient, and poor customer service. Groupon bucks or not do they really think someone wants to trust the merchants featured or spend their money after that no thanks! Do better Groupon!
I would never purchase anything from Groupon ever again. Scam. There's no one to talk to call or nothing. They have false information in the site. Told me I would have access to my Groupon within 2 hours of purchase took way longer and I ended up loosing money because I can't use the Groupon now
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
