I love Groupon because I am able to acquire goods and services at greatly reduced prices.
Lo dudo, te venden cosas a su precio real o superior con un supuesto gran descuento, jamas me llegaron los cinco euros de apadrinamiento
Groupon charged me when I made no purchase. Trying to get to the bottom of the issue has been the worst "customer service" experience of my life. It is a joke. Live chat took 45 minutes and he ended with a phone number. The very phone number that has 2-3 hours wait times. If you leave your phone number for a call back... don't bother. I never got a return call! I got an email when I replied to the automated recap of my live chat with how crappy the service was with an offer to help. Over 10 emails later (each from a different individual and no continuity to the email trail - previous threads drop off) I have sent the same requested information 4 times, answered the same questions 5 times and am done! This is a joke and a big fat fail. BBB should be up their $#*!.
Great way to try out local venues at a discount. Several done; t work out but I'm happy that I paid a discounted rate for trying.
My only issue is the pile of Groupons that I purchased and never used My fault and not the company-I've learned to buy more prudently.
I've only had an issue with 2-3 of the deals I purchased; that was vendor related and not Groupon's fault. I received a credit for those purchases (vendor could not fulfill the deal or didn't answer the phone). Would have been nice to receive a regular cash/credit card refund but was happy to have a Groupon credit that I easily used quickly
I bought teeth whitening kit on groupon more than month ago and I've never received it.
I purchased an ASUS laptop through groupon for a great price. Shipping was ridiculous, they used some ridiculous shipping method that has it go through UPS then USPS, so getting it took twice as long as it should have. I finally got it, opened it, the screen was SMASHED. Completely broken and unusable. Groupon could only offer me a return, because "they can't do exchanges or replacements" but I really wanted to keep the laptop. Luckily, it came with a 90 day warranty from ASUS and is being repaired by them. However, I've seen a lot of other reviews talking about similar issues, electronics being broken, but not all have manufacturer warranties on them. Groupon customer service was absolutely NO help. I'll never purchase a physical item from them ever again.
A friend and I take turns buying escape room Groupons. She saw one today and suggested I purchase it as there was an additional promo code for $20 off. When I went to purchase I could not use the promo code as I could only use a $10 one. When I called to question this policy, I was met with a very rude supervisor who assured me that they do not value certain costumes over others, even though my friend who uses the site more often is offered higher value promotional codes! The supervisor refused to do anything about the situation. I will never use a company with such terrible customer service.
I read reviews all the time but never write one but I had to in this instance. I've had Groupon for about 4 years and used it to book a hotel at the Hilton for a 2 day trip recently for $318 that I did not know was taken out immediately opposed to after checkout in case of a situation of a short stay. I forgot about my military discount and the Hilton gave me one. When I checked out my total on my receipt was $270 nice win or so I thought until I looked at my bank told I was charged 270 and 318. What ending up happening was the Hilton put my discount rate back in my account and left the Groupon one. Very disappointed. Word of advice, NEVER USE THEM! They are the shady middle man that will make you lose in the end. Just deal directly with a Hotel or through a travel agent.
Just wish there was more time to use some of them... wish they had an extended policy.
BUT, I use Groupon all the time. Good deals.
Groupon is yesterdays fad in my opinion. I rarely find anything worth buying. It seems as if the majority of the buisnesses who used to run groupon deals just run the deals themselves. I used to be a big "grouponer", now even browsing the site seems like a waste of my time.
I placed an order on a Saturday for a watch, of which the site said there were only 4 left. I completed the order process and waited for a confirmation email. By Tuesday I had not received one, so I logged into the site and found that there were no orders listed for my account. Despite this, I also found that the charge had been applied to my credit card.
After reading some reviews of the customer service phone line, I decided to try the online chat and got nowhere. The representative was rude, informed me that there was a mix up and I just would not receive the product and must wait for the charge to fall off of my bill.
I am beyond confused as to how my credit card got charged but the order was not recorded. I am furthermore frustrated by the fact there was no attempt by the company to address the issue. This is unacceptable for a company that relies on online orders, and I will not be attempting to order from them again.
I used Groupon in many countries and sometimes local Groupon has great deals, sometimes the variety of deals is poor. Anyways it is still possible to find something interesting there.
A person of unknow identity hacked my Groupon account, then Groupon sent me an email stating that my email has been changed and if it was not me please let support know. I also received an email from my bank stating about a purchase I did not make. I call my bank and stopped the purchase then I notified Groupon they gave me the run around and that I should contact my bank because someone has got my credit card information and hacked my groupon account. Which was not true. Groupon's investigation was not worth the time and they never admitted that their system was breach. Close your account because Groupon is not security, safe, or customer friendly.
Quello che ti vendono e oro colato, puro al 100/°°niente inganni. Quello ti vendono e quello è.
I ordered a refurbished IPad from Goods, it had a nick in it but ok it is what it is. A little over 4 months later it kept cycling associated with a software update, took it to the Apple store, long story short there was defective hardware. This is the second time that I had a problem with electronics from Groupon, the first time the item wasn't working when I got it and was able to return it.
Lesson learned don't buy electronics through Groupon Goods unless you like flushing your money away.
This is a great way to try out restaurants, salons, etc at great prices. It is especially great when they have "sales" that is, reductions on their already good prices. I routinely check for deals in my area and am a long time customer. Their customer service is good. Be sure to read the fine print on the deal, however.
There is only one reason i don't like about this company. They literally do kill businesses. I am never a big fan of big stores. I always will prefer smaller businesses. And as far as i can see, groupon does kill them. Not to mention the looks of those employees when you present a groupon coupon.
They used to be good0 No more! Like many companies today they bait and switch- prime you. -once you like the idea try it- then you are disappointed after the 1st decent transaction. I ordered a fur item- Brown- they sent me a Grey one! OMG - sure they will give you back a refund only if they take out 12% in return fees! Wow horrible- Why would I order anything from them again? They can't get it right- size, color - doesn't matter YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ODERED- just what someone throws in to take your 12% and disappoint you. I see this site going downhill FAST
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
