Do NOT buy unless you are ready to wait for more than 3 weeks to be delivered! It's been 15 days and the products still hasn't shipped - it is a simple protein powder! In the fine print on the webpage it says delivered in 12 days, but when you get the confirmation email, it says 3 WEEKS! No option to cancel! Worst online shopping experience ever! Will never use this store again!
Wrote the same review on their website and it got rejected - talk about censorship and manipulation of the reviews!
I used to like getting local deals through Groupon. Wow, can they be horrible though if you need any sort of customer service at all. When I tried to get a local yoga deal with one of their flash sale discounts (which has a time limit on it) and the discount code didn't work, I contacted their live chat. The chat person was pleasant enough (other than disconnecting on me toward the end there before I was actually through with the chat), but I made it clear at the beginning of the chat that I had tried to check out with the deal and the discount code BEFORE the code was set to expire.
Well, she kept me going on the chat with her while she "investigated" until one minute after the discount ran out and then had the nerve to try to tell me that I couldn't apply the discount to the deal because it had expired, and that's why I was having trouble with checking out. When I tried to tell her that the discount wasn't expired when I had contacted customer service, she said there was nothing she could do because the discount was expired now, so it couldn't be investigated further. They also couldn't give me any sort of discount to make up for it.
This is super upsetting, not just because I couldn't get my discounted deal, but also because I felt deliberately misled by the customer service person. I don't think she was investigating anything. I think she was running down the clock. Why she couldn't have been honest and told me she had no idea why the discount wasn't working on the deal I don't know. She then further lied to me and told me that they were working hard to make sure this same thing didn't happen again. Yeah right. Working hard to forget that I had ever contacted them is more like it. I bet she doesn't give me or this problem a second thought. But apparently honesty as well as good service aren't among Groupon Customer Service personnel's strong suits.
I have used groupon a few times, my experiences are mixed, i have gotten good deals but also i had lost money for not being able to schedule appointments when I bought services, in other words I lost my money, sometimes the products or services are just what you paid for, so be aware
This company does not care about who is buying a coupon or who is selling it. They want a company to cut their prices in half for a customer looking for rock bottom prices who has no loyalty to that store or a service so more than likely that customer will not be a repeat customer. Just beware a company can not cut their prices in half, pay Groupon and make a profit. Someone has to loose.
They don't have a wish list. You have to put everything into a shopping cart to hold onto it. I close my iPad and it purchased everything in my shopping cart. I didn't say purchase or press purchase. Their website is flawed
They send an email out and you have to respond within two hours. Like we're on line 24/7 and it's hooked up into our brain. Not. Their customer service has a I'm sorry policy.
Companies should not get so big that they can't rectify their mistakes. "I'm sorry" these days for online companies is just not enough.
They really know how to sell things, or better say how to ged rid of items. I made the purchase online using the app by accident in the evening and I realized it in the morning so I tried to cancel it on my computer but I couldn't, so I called costumer service. They said that they can't do anything about it and since the "toilet spa attachment" was on final sale I can't return it either!
Groupon offers fantastic deals, I have been on many and always happy.
Just tried to use a Groupon for a Thai massage and found when I got there that my appointment wasn't even on their calendar! This is the last time that I waste money on a Groupon. They used to be great but the last two times I've bought them, it's been a waste of time and money.
Trust me I love a good bargain especially on dining out but if your going to use a groupon, please be advised of few things 1. JUst because you have a groupon you are not God. Servers like myself are here to accommodate you best we can but becAuse you have a groupon you need to chill. 2. Stop being cheap you payed $25 for your groupon you doubled the value, it won't kill you to order another drink. 3. Please don't tip us on the $3 tax you us, tips for what your meal would have been priced. That being said have a nice day and happy dining :)
Groupon is a scam. I purchased a groupon for Atlantic City to use 9/20/15. Called the hotel before I purchased to book and now the hotel magically will not take my groupon. Planned to take my boyfriend for his birthday to the Borgata. Now on hold for 42 minutes with Groupon customer service. No response.
I ordered an item and had received something completely different. It wasn't even on the groupon. Now I have to print out return address, box it up, then go to post office. They were at fault and I'm paying the price.
Groupon has some good deals on there but I have had some troubloe before getting refunds on items that I purchased.
Business owners Don't go With Groupon!
I am a business owner and started a Groupon campaign. They are selling vouchers and I am providing services. GROUPON IS NOT PAYING ME! They are finding silly reasons like my EIN is not validated and other stuff. My sales rep is not answering my calls and not returning my calls! I am not going to accept any more vouchers and I am going to sue them!

I have been burned for the last time with the misleading advertisement from this company. The next morning when I noticed I had been mislead I called to cancel my order. I was told I had two hours from the time I placed the order to cancel... Two hours! It hadn't shipped, but it was still too late.
Delivery stated 7 working days, 14 days later i am still waiting and my parcel for the UK is still in Belgium. When contacting Groupon they say it has been despatched and the delay was due to a logistical error.
My second parcel that I purchased 4 days ago is awaiting despatch. When i contacted them after 2 days to complain about the non delivery of the first parcel so wanted to cancel they said they coundn't do anything and i would have to wait for the second parcel to be received and then send it back - despite it not even being despatched yet. I have today received the tracking information where they state the parcel has been despatched. When checking on the status of the delivery it states no delivery is available at the moment. Customer service is rubbish and do not want to help at all, just fob you off so if you have any issues then just say goodbye to your money as you wont get the item or a refund!
I ordered something from Groupon over 3 weeks ago and still have not received my order. I have called multiple times and they keep saying "It will get there in a couple of days." It has been over 3 weeks now and still nothing. Lets just say my partner and I are NOT happy customers and I will NEVER order something from Groupon again!
I don't often buy from Groupon, but when I have, it's been a really good deal that I couldn't pass up. I got a $20 voucher for a restaurant called Tea Story, I was supposed to pay $12, but I used a groupon coupon code and saved an additional $3. So I paid $9 for $20 value. You do have a certain amount of time to use the bonus value, ie 3 months, if you don't use the bonus, the amount you paid never expires. Its worth it for me.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
