Ordered a ticket to ice skate for me and a date couple weeks ago, went in to the rink and was told they don't accept groupons. Very embarassing and a complete waste of time! I called and complained and the lady basically said they can't control who accepts their deals which is BS! And she wouldn't return my money either! I hope whatever building these people are in burns down with them all in it!
If you have an issue that has to be taken to customer service, it is not easy to deal with. And they do not respond quickly. Then when they respond they still haven't helped the situation!
I placed an order a few days ago, I got a phone call stating that I needed to call to confirm my order. I was a bit skeptical to call because I already from the site before and had never needed to call to confirm an order. So instead I emailed customer service and advised that I will be emailing to confirm my order rather than call the unfamiliar number back. I received a reply back that my order looked good and there was nothing wrong with it - it was still processing. Then just tonight I received an email from Ideel stating that per their loss prevention investigation my order had to be cancelled?!?! Really!? I did nothing wrong, but did use the 35% promo that was sent to me via email. I am pretty positive that my order was cancelled because I used the discount that was given to me by none other than Ideel. Ideel is a scam that uses bait and switch to lure customers into thinking they are receiving a good deal. Ideel you've just lost a customer! Shame on you and your deceptive practices!
I have loved groupon and been an avid user for 2 years now. Great deals for date nights and items for the home alike. Would highly recomend. Just make sure you pay attention to expiration dates for vouchers
ORDERED AN ITEM FROM THEM, IT WAS SHIPPED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS AND THEY COULDN'T CARELESS... GOT A HOTEL RM FROM THEM, CALLED AND MADE SURE THAT IT WAS BOOKED & WAS ASSURED THAT IT WAS... ARRIVED AT THE HOTEL... 6hrs. AWAY FROM MY OWN HOME AND NO RESERVATIONS WAS EVER MADE. NOT TO MENTION THAT THEY TAKE MONTHS TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGES...
So disappointing with groupon. Was a loyal customer. Purchased I-pad mini which is defective. There is no warranty and they won't take it back. Will never buy from them again! Customer services was completely not helpful.
Does not honor groupon after I purchased it. Cancelled 3 appointments and now will not return my calls.
It seems like you would need to be a mathematician to benefit from their deals. I bought 2 coupons for Creamistry, $5 for $10 worth. The first coupon was used to buy 1 scoop of ice cream and a creation cup which cost $13. I paid out of pocket $3. With the second coupon I bought 1 scoop which cost $6. The $4 left over just evaporated. Had I sat down and used my "math" skills and creativity, I would not have to pay anything extra. So if you plan to use these groupons or deal palooza, make sure to do some serious calculation or you will come out feeling like an idiot! I will never use another groupon or deal palooza special as they are such bad business and untrustworthy companies.
I ordered a parcel on the 4th September 2015, 10 minutes after I placed my order I recommended all my colleagues place the order as it was for a mystery gift. 1 week later my colleagues received their orders. Bearing in mind we all put the same address, it is not the 07/10/2015 and i still have not received my parcel... I tried complaining but all they say is that they cant do anything about it and they cant refund me until i send the parcel back. LOL what f****** parcel? This is why I don't trust cheap sh*t!
I tried some massage coupon, which turned out to be a stupid shop, and both times I go there, they said they don't have the person who has to do the massage, there is no way to get a refund.
We have a small business and used groupon to promote a couple of our services. When we developed a new campaign with them they used the wrong image and listed the wrong fee. I sent out emails to their support team and got nothing but excuses and they closed our campaign because we wouldn't honor the ones that THEY screwed up on. Even after i said we would honor them they still refused to reopen the correct ones that we had been running for 3 months. I called 14 times and got a different rep each time. I was put off every time and was told they would get back with me. After weeks of lies and excuses they decided not to reopen ANY and all of our campaigns. Get this. They gave us no reason. And on top of that they will tell you that there are no managers or supervisors for you to talk to. I have never dealt with such a shady company. Be very careful because if a problem develops you are screwed no matter who made the mistake.
More then once I have order a few thing at a suppose price but when items arrive they are not like the picture and made with a cheap material. Not worth spending your money
I have bought several gifts through Groupon and I have been very pleased with the results. They are clear about conditions.
Iam a long standing good customer but having bought some palms realised they were not the ones advertised customer services told me to get in touch with the company who are in the netherlands tried but didnt suceed for over a month i have sent them many emails but to no avail been a long good standing customer.
I've used them for a few different things, from Buffalo Wild Wings to custom calendars, and overall, they are really good. The selection isn't always as varied as I'd like, but they do have tons of cool local and online things for you to do, which is always nice, and the price is usually a lot better than you can get directly from the source.
I'm always finding discounts for events and getaways. Love the variety that is offered. Great company!
Ordered this item 6 weeks ago and was given a tracking number, yesterday got an email saying i had a voucher for the price of the item which had to be used by 25/9/15.2weeks out of date.
I have spent 100s of euro on this site over the past year but they wont be getting another cent. Fu-kin hate that. Keep clear of these crooks,
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
