I ordered an item October 9 and received an email confirming my order. On October 12th, I received notification that it was being shipped from the UK with an expected delivery date of around October 22nd. On October 22nd, I checked the Groupon tracking page only to find that the last entry was on October 12 and that my items were still in the UK. I emailed the shipping company's office in the US and was told I should contact their main office in the UK. I went back to groupon and during a chat the rep offered a refund within seconds saying that the shipment had been delayed. I responded that I did not want a refund, I wanted what I purchased and asked how long it might be delayed. She gave me another date at the end of October.

This morning I called the shipping company in the UK. The tracking number on my groupons page did not correspond to their numbering system. It is totally different so I went back to groupon with this information and was told my items were still being processed for shipping --never mind that their tracking page says my items shipped on October 12 -- and a manager would get back to me within 48 hours with a response.

Why wasn't I advised that there was a problem with shipping these items before I had to contact them? Why wasn't I allowed to decide what i wanted done about this supposed delay? Is it that they are buying time for more of this product to come in because they ran out?

Let's see what they come up with next!

I used to recommend Group on to all my friends. I will no longer do that.

No Returns - Reebok.com

This is the crappiest deal I ever came across. I ordered a Reebok coupon on Groupon and made a purchase with that online. The product was big and I had to get it replaced, the seller refused to return the item saying products purchased with groupon coupons cannot be replaced.

I placed an order for a £500 TV with a promised delivery date of 7 days four weeks later no TV and my refund has been refused whilst it contacts the supplier. This is despite cancelling as is my legal right within 14 days. As a result I have had to raise a resolution via PayPal to receive my refund dreadful customer service who simply stated they know they are breaking the law but it is company policy unbelievable I will never ever order again!

Poor customer service

These agent are locking how to speak to someone. Its even worse when you ask to speak to a manager because they're no different from the reps. I am very disappointed in the level of service I received and worse the long wait on the phone. I would never do business with this company again.

Selling damaged goods

Have been buying different variety of merchandise from them since past 2 years. Just recently purchased a Samsung Galaxy S5 which arrived almost after one month. Upon unboxing, it was observed there were two scratches and one dent on the side panels of the phone. The phone battery could not hold charge for more than 4 to 5 hours as would deplete completely by then after a full charge. Called and spoke to Groupon Customer service who apologized and said they'll have someone look into this right away and get back ASAP. It has since been 5 days and no one from Groupon has responded back as yet. Attempted to follow up with them and no luck yet still. Quiet a poor customer service and bad condition products they are selling.

DO NOT BUY THE DIAMONDCANDLES.COM COUPON CODE! There is NOTHING stated that you can only use the Groupon on certain candles until AFTER you buy the Groupon and get to the Diamond Candles website! It's too late at that point... you all ready bought the Groupon! I complained to Groupon only to have them refund me in "Groupon bucks" I had to fight with customer service to refund my credit card.
It's fine if you want outdated candles but tell me that's what I have to buy!

Never ever order from Ideeli, no real customer service they advertise as having a Live Chat witch is pretty useless and of course customer service telephone line is a recording... so frustrations are endless...

Basically what I learned is that if a hair styist needs to list on Groupon, there's something wrong.
Lower prices are the hook but the service you get in return ends in going to someone else anyway.
It's a temporary fix, not a repeat good experience.

I do most of my shopping on line. Have ordered many times from Groupon. Made a mistake one time and they immediately let me cancel my order and refunded. I did try to make a phone order once when on line would not let me add something to my cart to get free shipping and they wouldn't take a phone order! Bad customer service in my opinion. Their items are pretty good quality. Their shipping times are excellent. I continue to order from Groupon. The one thing I really don't like is their mobile app won't let you place multiple items in a cart to get free shipping. You have to purchase one item at a time and pay for shipping. I always order multiple items on a computer and get free shipping.

I have used Groupon for years and apparently the service has gotten worse. Worst experience ever. I had booked a trip to Niagara Falls at one of the area hotels. In finding out that the hotel had bed bugs previously. I wanted to cancel my reservation. Groupon denied my request. So I decided to take my family there and check it out for myself because I did not want to waste my money. In doing so our room was gross. There were oil stain on the sheets. I told the clerk that I wanted to cancel staying there. She said we are so sorry for the trouble and said for your convenience we will put you in the suit to stay. Canceling our other room. Later on I went to go to groupon to buy another coupon. Realizing our groupon was still there. I called to make sure when I booked again that there would be no trouble. The clerk said that it takes a while to drop off that because we stayed it was redeemed. This was back in August. I believed I had got credit. She told me so you are not bothered by seeing it on your account I will mark the Groupon as being used. I told her that I believed we had received a credit. She said it is marked as a booked day and not a coupon code even though thats how it was redeemed. Very frustrated. She told me that because we were given another room we were taken care of. Lets not figure a good couple hours were wasted trying to find a clean room. Can't believe I just wanted to take a trip with my family and all this mess happened because I decided to never never use groupon again. It was my families first trip together after being in the N. I. C. U with my son for 6 months because he was born early.We needed a nice trip for the four of us. The clerks were so cold and their customer service stunk. This had nothing to do with the fact I did not get my groupon back. I am still in shock. I do not suggest looking through this site because it only causes you trouble.

No customer service!

If I could give them a zero, I would! I placed an order for a car detailing. My credit card was charged but the order kept showing as pending. I called Customer Service and the wait time was 40-50 minutes. I emailed customer service. The agent told me what to do to solve the problem. I did it and nothing changed. I tried to live chat with an agent, I was number 30 in the queue. I waited, the agent kept giving me scripted answers to just make me go away, he finally disconnected me. I waited again for another agent who did the same thing. I waited again and got an agent who basically told me the same thing... nobody there could help me and I could wait another 24-48 hours and then contact them again. TOTAL BS! Groupon should not be selling a product they cannot support!

Excellent Bargains

Having a larger sized family, groupon has been amazing! From cheaper prices for extracurricular activities, to dinners, to movie nights. I love it! I've been a loyal customer for 6 years and will continue to be!

I used to be a fan of Ideal and a regular purchaser but I have been very disappointed lately. I had immediately returned an item because the size was wrong and had to chase after the company with multiple inquiries to get my credit posted for the returned item. Then when I used the credit to purchase another item I received a confirmation that it would ship within a week. Well, I waited 3 weeks and still hadn't received anything. When I checked the order on the website there was a note that it was "closed or cancelled" although I had not received any communication from Ideel. I wrote to them and although I received an auto-response indicating they usually respond within 4 hours, it took 3 days for them to respond and all they said was that the item had not been received by their vendor. No indication of when it might arrive, if there would be an update, or what... In general, customer service has gone way down hill in recent months and I know from experience that there are much more efficient sites out there to deal with.
