There 14 day refund policy is a complete scam because if you were to even call in 1 day after purchasing they purposely book you in after the 14 days to not give you a refund.
Its website says: 'If your experience using your Groupon ever lets you down, well return the purchase price of your Groupon, either as cash or as a Groupon UK credit. Simple as that.'... Complete LIE!

VERY long waits to get through to these people, either by phone, "live chat", and they don't respond real well to emails either.
I really like Groupon, the only issue is that sometimes it is very hard to book something, once you have the voucher

I'm sure the majority of people that posted did have legitimate complaints. However I must say I had an extremely pleasant experience with this site. I ordered my wedding shoes on Tuesday and they arrived Friday. They look exactly as way was advertised on the site. Further more, when I did have a question about the shipping (the label was created 24 hours before it actually left the site) true customer service was quick to respond and very helpful. I was nervous after I placed the order because of all the negative reviews but I couldn't be happier with the service and look forward to ordering again.
I always use the Belgian groupon site. It's a good site when you want a hotelroom or a dinner. I can't recommend you to order clotes or furniture but some prices are very low. It is very easy to use, you book a room, i always send an extra mail to the hotel, just to be sure. Never had problems.
For the most part they are good but something I didnt like was the jewerly the prices that they advertise are not really good EX: they will say a watch cost 259.00 selling for 20.00 NOT TRUE... you can find them priced for 25.00 on line and the quality can be really cheap---but I had really good experiences with the food and sheets etc stuff so all and all just do your home work before purchasing and yes I read the reviews :)
Ordered a ring for my girlfriend to go along with her bridesmaid dress (purple amethyst). Ordered it 2 1/2 month before the ceremony... Have yet to get it. That was in February... It is now 3 days till November.
Groupon sucks. Very unreliable unless it is a printed voucher! Do NOT buy goods from this scam! I can't even get my money back!
Every time I've ordered merch of this is is not nearly as good as advertised. This time, I got the complete wrong ring size. Working with their customer service team is like hitting my head against a wall.
I bought the Featless Chic Beauty Restoration Spa facial. I went into it not expecting very much. I was fairly sure that it would be a scam or sorts. I was more than pleasantly surprised! I received an hour long facial and it was amazing! I had been feeling so stressed and this is just what I needed to help me get out of my funk! From the very second I walked in the staff were friendly and super nice! Tiana was the staff member who gave me the facial. It was pure heaven! From the soft music, to the lighting, to the extra hand and shoulder massages! Trust me as skeptical as I was this place blew my
Mind in a good way! Not only am I going back here but I plan on going back weekly. I loved every second of this! Well worth the price which was very cheap. Initially the cheap price was the thing that age me skeptical. I am telling all of you to go and try this place it is amazing! I would also suggest you ask for Tiana because she made this experience magical for me!

Tried purchasing the contour palette, first try my address was apparently wrong when it's the address they found for me to enter... They cancelled the order without giving me the chance to change the address. I thought I'd try again with a different address when the offer came up again. I double and triple checked the address to make sure all was correct. I never received an email saying my order had been dispatched so after 10 days I sent an email, they said my order has been dispatched and to wait a further 3 days for it to be delivered. 7 days later still no product. Emailed them again and they said there was a problem with shipping and they will contact me within 10 days as to the reason why... 10 days? Why so long! So I'm guessing once again my address is Wrong! Will not be ordering from Groupon ever again!
Ordered a high end gaming headset SteelSeries Siberia Elite Prism. Confirmed that it was the 'Prism' model. After waiting 18 days the lower model showed up... receipt said Prism, invoice said Prism, checkout said Prism... arrived as a different model, inferior to the Prism...

I have tried several times to use groupon. I read small print and yet when I try to use them there is some hidden glitch website or otherwise preventing it. I have had my vouchers refunded but it was a lot of work each time. I would be wary of spending more than your willing to lose.
I do not believe that I can have a more unhappy shopping experience at any other online store. Basically, I sincerely hope that Ideel will go out of business soon.
First experience:
4 months ago, I ordered a celine bag on Ideel and after 2 weeks, my order was cancelled without any appropriate reason. During that 2 weeks, I was assured by at least 3 representatives that my order will be shipped very soon. However, it got cancelled because "we don't keep inventory. "Ok. I could not care less about how you manage your inventory, but please do not let your representatives to trap your customers by saying that" your item is definitely in stock and will be shipped".
One week ago, I again ordered that bag when it shows that " this item is in stock and will be shipped in 2 days". During waiting, I knew Ideel will play their game again and I was prepared. I still chatted with 3 representatives and again they assured me that "your order is already sent to warehouse and will be shipped in 24 hours. You can expect to receive a tracking any time now." Ok. Then after a week ( not 24 hours, a whole week), they say that they cannot authorize my paypal payment (through no fault of mine) and I need to change my payment method. I tried, but the website does not allow. I talked to another rep, he send me a slash link, and tell me that the order will be cancelled.
I just want to say that this will be the last time I order from Ideel. I will make sure to spread the words. As everyone else here is saying: Ideel is definitely a spam.
If you are hesitant about buying deals online, let me assure you that Groupon is a company that honours your purchases. If there is ever a problem they will help you resolve it and if no resolution they will refund your money or credit your account.
Hard to find something good to say about this site. I've been sucked in to harbour cruises and dinners and other activities. I wouldn't recommend purchasing online either as I've had problems with tickets and proof of purchase those kinds of things. Friends and family also stay away from Groupon deals now. Nice photos but the food/sevice/drinks and seatings are always substandard.
I bought the Zenex Bluetooth headset and within 2 months the earbuds fell apart. I contacted Groupon and they said there was no account with my email address (even though I sent him a screenshot of the order and my information) and I got a very generic response from them. I used to love Groupon but I am never buying anything from them again. PS do not buy anything from Zenex because it is crap!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
