I can't sign in to my account. I can't reset my password? I try to re-register, but my email is in use. Duh. Let's try to reset the password... Again. Nope. Let's go to help. I can ask a question. Ah... I need a login and password. Well I don't have my password. I can not reset my password. Brilliant! I can't use your help service. So... I guess I can't use Groupon. Very impressive.
I ordered the FAVI LED PROJECTOR & 100" SCREEN BUNDLE from GROUPON. The only reason I ordered it was because of the screen combo. I never received the screen and it does not mention the screen on the shipping receipt. I contacted Groupon and advised them I did not receive the screen. Their response was they cannot provide the screen but they would give me $5 in groupon bucks. I advised them this was unacceptable and requested a supervisor to call me back. No contact to date form a supervisor and it has been over a week. It appears Groupon was aware they did not have the screens and sold the orderes anyway. Very deceptive business practices and false advertising. Groupon has gone downhill in my opinion and I will not be doing business with them any more.
I purchased a groupon for Canvasonsale for a 40 x 60 print and tried to use the redemption code and it said invalid. I have tried for 2 days to get this issue resolved and groupon and canvasonsale keep pointing their finger at each other with neither willing to resolve the
Problem. Horrible Horrible customer service on both ends I have sent countless emails
Of everything they ask for and every time I get someone new, no phone #'s and no resolution.
Pure hell!
Awesome but if you use it you already know that! Goods takeS a while to ship to me but other than that I love it ALL!
Bought something on their app expecting that it would take a while with everyone standing impatiently but i was gravely mistaken.
They had a huge area where guests can sit and relax by and an organized system to follow. Took me less than 15 minutes to get my purchase!
Purchased a refurbished surface 2 which has a 90 day warranty. Pulled it out of the box and plugged it in and it does not stay charged. Emailed the warranty department two times in two days, and still have not received a response. I will never purchase anything from Groupon again. This was a 216.00 mistake.
I have ordered a pair of curtains the 18th of October, they have been dispached the 19thof October, but today I still need to receive the item. Groupon itself can't find the tracking number, neither the shipping company. I have called already 4 times, and I have asked to simply have a refund, the answer has been no, they have to follow the escalation process, this means 5 working days after the item has been dispached, 10 working days after the first 5 working day, and finally after this, and just if I call them, they will process my refund that will take others 7 working days! Great service, professional people, amazing business.
I have never had a bad experience with Groupon. I have bought spa services and restaurant certificates and, on occasion, some "Groupon Goods."
If you want to have a good experience, you must do your homework. Go to Google maps and check out the establishments you're interested through Streetview. If the exterior looks shabby and crummy, you probably don't want to go there (especially for a spa). Is the establishment in a good neighbourhood? Check out their website but make sure that they''re not using stock photos. Check the menu and, above all, see if there are reviews online. If you do some research, you will love Groupon, too.
I have often given certificates as gifts and they're always a hit!
Do not use their mobile app, and do not associate your credit card to the groupon site. You may find that you make a purchase without your knowledge just by browsing the site from your phone. Then told that nothing can be done about it until you receive and go through the process of returning the item. Meanwhile they have your money. It is either a unintentional or intentional glitch in their app. And it is unacceptable to be able to "purchase" an item without intent.
WHETHER IT'S GROUPON OR THEIR MERCHANT TO BLAME, SOMEONE NEEDS TO STEP UP AND TAKE NOTE OF THE WAY THEY ARE CHOSING TO CODUCT BUSINESS. NOT ONLY WAS MY PREVIOUS ISSUE UNRESOLVED - NO FOLLOW UP - I LOOKED ON GROUPON AND THEY ARE STILL OFFERING THIS "BUNDLED" PRODUCT! THEY CHANGED THE IMAGE FROM HALLOWEEN TO CHRISTMAS - BUT THEY ARE STILL OFFERING THE SCREEN BUNDLED WITH A PROJECTOR - BUT NOW FOR $100 MORE! NOW THIS IS REALLY LOOKING MORE LIKE DELIBERATE FALSE ADVERTISING VS. THE MERCHANT BEING "OUT OF STOCK". I HAVE CANCELLED MY ORDER AND ORDERED THROUGH AMAZON - A REPUTABLE COMPANY! WE'LL SEE HOW LONG IT TAKES FOR THEM TO CREDIT MY ACCOUNT! UNBELIEVABLE!
Customer support is very unprofessional and often rude! I would not recommend Groupon Merchant to any service business! Groupon is very unfair on how your campaign runs and they say that they are not taking on new nationwide customers Seriously Groupon there's mant marketing companies out there for far less money that reach more of a customer base. In short... Stay away from advertising with Groupon
Groupon is a good site and they have great deals. That said, if you have a problem with a vendor, they usually take the venders side and make it very difficult to get satisfaction. I have also found that some times they do not vet their venders. I have had 2 experiences where the vender was scamming both them and their customers.
Groupon honestly has the most incompetent and unhelpful customer service I have ever dealt with and I have probably bought things online at least 500+ times. I ordered something and after 5 days had not received any tracking information so I reached out to support and received a generic "email us again in a few days" response. 3 days later, no update, so I email again. Another generic "we will forward this to our support team" copy and paste email. I thought I was in contact with the support team? Anyway... I email them back and reach out on twitter because no one is responding. Next day I get another great copy and paste email basically saying "we are trying to figure out what's going on." FIVE DAYS LATER, now 2 weeks since I placed the order (keep in mind that the fine print said the purchase was supposed to be delivered within 7 days), I receive another email from customer service saying that there is "good news" and they have found my order and then some copy and paste nonsense about how I can find the tracking information (as if I hadn't been checking it every day) and how I can return my order if I am unsatisfied due to the delay... Of course I'm not going to return it after I had to go through hell to get it. No mention of the (at least partial) refund I asked for too. I am definitely planning to file with Better Business Bureau. 2 weeks to get tracking info when the purchase itself was supposed to arrive within 7 days? And I still don't have it? Unbelievable.
They cannot and refused to refund your money after 30 days.
Ive bought a few things using groupon and I havent been displeased. Yes you do need to always read the fine print on the item your looking at, but its easy to purchase things. They seem to have a wide variety of places, tickets for events, services etc. i always look on groupon first for things i might buy soon.
I love the discounts the companies offer. I especially like when Groupon offers an additional coupon. I have never had an issue using the groupons. They made the process easy by giving you step by step instructions. Groupon explains any exclusions beforehand.
I bought two coupons so far, that offered a great deal on massages and facials. Pretty much half off. I would recommend that you look into the business before you buy the groupon coupon, see the schedule, services and reviews. Also read the fine print before you pay - what days the coupon works, the expiration date and such. You only have 3 days to get a refund.
Do not believe what they offer
I bought a dress for my graduation and it was ripped and Groupon refused to refused to refund
Often it is like "gambling" wether you manage to find a good deal or not. Always read the small print!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
Groupon is the largest "daily deal" site, selling vouchers for discounted local experiences and services such as restaurants and spas, as well as travel packages, shopping, and a number of other items. Vouchers are purchased upfront and typically must be redeemed by a certain date, after which time Groupons expire. To businesses Groupon markets itself as a way to drive new customers. Groupon is a public company (NASDAQ: GRPN) and is based in Chicago, IL.
