Ordered online - got a great deal. Shipping time was decent and product was as described. They didn't go out of there way for anything, but wasn't expecting them to either. Very Happy with purchase.
I've never had a good experience using Groupon. Each time I've tried there were so many restrictions on the purchase that I never even bothered using it.
My husband has a business and when he looked into how they are set up, it is crazy. Groupon takes like 50% of the money transaction leaving nothing for the merchant. When you factor in that those who shop with Groupon are only bargain buyers, they think those deals should always apply at the stores. Makes for an non-healthy business concept.
I had been using IDEELI since 2010. Over the past 6months the service has gotten to be terrible! I've had them send me the wrong items more the once and of course since it's a flash sale site they don't have what I ordered anymore. A 100$ worth of items I ordered never arrived. I've ended up with store credit since it used to be free shipping on returns if you opted for store credit but now you can't return things if the amount you paid is less than the shipping fees, which of course it is since I paid in store credit. So you're pretty much stuck unless you contact their terrible support team. I did. And the auto response said I'd receive a response in 24 hours. It was over a week of me emailing everyday since you only have a limited number of days in which to return (14 days technically, but by the time it arrives I typically have only 2-3 days, so don't plan to go anywhere ever). Finally did get the return label but only half of the items were processed in the return so I've spent another 3 days fighting with customer service over this. If I could just get the money back or spend down the store credit to zero I would NEVER do business with this company again.
I bought my boyfriend a very nice watch from Groupon for Christmas. I was so excited, but when I opened up my package it was some cheap watch case. My invoice said some Brittain Hill and shipped to me. I called Groupon expecting them to fix it. Maybe not on time which sucked, but ok. NO, the want me to ship what I got back, and then refund my money. Only the refund wasn't until they got the product that was shipped to me by mistake. So not only is it three days away from Christmas, and I have no gift. I also am shorted out the money I was able to spend on him.
I ordered a cream for elbows, armpits for lightening & whitening the skin. Groupon falsely advertised the cream, it is only a moisturizer for dry elbow. I won't purchase products from them.
I've shopped on Groupon quite a bit and lately they seem less and less particular about their products. If you're looking for haircuts, massages, personalized items, photography, or the occasional $15 for $30 coupon Groupon is pretty good.
When it comes to actual products like electronics or toys you can find WAY better deals on Amazon or Ebay.
I'm not saying Groupon is bad, just buying products from them is bad. Most of the services you find on Groupon are EXCELLENT deals.
Have only had limited experience with groupon in the restaurant area for one half off coupons and once it was a bonafide half off excellent experience and another time the advertiser put limitations on the times and dates they did not have stated in the initial details, but this was not the fault of groupon and I didn't even think to report them.

They owe me a credit from a past order and I have 2 orders I placed on Nov 30th that I have not received. I keep getting emails saying sorry for the confusion. What is going on with this company? Customer service says weekdays only when you look up chat on weekends and weekends only when you look up chat on weekdays.
I purchased an I pad through groupon which came without a plug!
When it emailed them (since this is the only way to contact them) I gave them my mobile number to call, in the e mail, as they requested it. I got the automated e mail response, but then nothing. No call and no further e mail as promised, I therefore emailed them again and again received the 24 hrs e mail response, I only had requested a plug to be sent to me.
After the fourth very frustrating e mail I received an e mail saying they have sent a plug and then promotely received a foreign adapter plug which was of no use whatsoever.
They have still failed to address the issue despite another e mail!
Groupon sucks, I bought an iPhone and it stopped charging after 4 months and they won't fix it or return it.

Con los cupones de servicios no he tenido problemas, excepto mi ultima compra de una limpieza dental en la clinica CLIDEENTAL, Madrid, Sainz de Baranda, que no me han hecho todo lo que prometia el cupon que sería. En cuanto a los productos, pues he aprendido que no porque se vendan en Groupon son de calidad, he comprado, entre otras, un juego de sartenes Santa Clara (si no recuerdo mal) y se me rompió el mango de una de ellas después de usarla 2 veces y la única solución que se me ofreció fue devolverlas todas y la devolución del dinero, cuando me habría gustado que me la cambien o que me manden otro juego y poder devolver el roto. Pero si, en general recomiendo la pagina, solo que hay que informarse sobre las marcas, cuando de productos se trate, y cuando de servicios, pedir que se cumpla con lo prometido en los cupones. Seria bueno que se puedan valorar todos los productos y servicios adquiridos y también, quizás, llevar un control de calidad, poner unos estándares de cumplimiento de los servicios...
I have bought a lot of stuff off of groupon over the past few years and they have good discounts on all things. You need to find what your looking for and sometimes you can also use a Promo code which can get you extra savings. If you have a problem with a merchant and want your money back than just contact customer service and they will help you. I have never had a problem getting my money back.

There are websites that allow users to post coupons so other people can use them. These websites such as retailmenot and groupon allow you to use multiple use online and instore promo codes or sales. Everytime I buy something online or even when I go to the mall or something I make sure to look up a promo code. Such as when I ordered a new pair of shoes Kyrie 1 Double Nickels In case you were wondering I used groupon and got a discount. I Love Groupon and RetailMeNot I would give them a 10/10.

Have purchased Waterproof Stackable Cube Wardrobe and DIY 3D Casting Kits for Baby's Hands and Feet with Frame. Both are china products and didn't look like what was in the picture in the post. Couldn't use them at all. I felt cheated. They are misleading their customers. Will never buy any product from groupon again.
I have been using Groupon for quite a few years. Mostly for dining but have bought other goods too. For the most part they have great customer service if you have a problem with one of the merchants. The deals are pretty good but with the dining I have noticed the value is slipping. It used to be 50% off and that amount is getting shaved down a little bit. Most are now packaged as dinner for two which can be a little hard if your single. As for the merchandise, just know what you are buying and be price conscious.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.

They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
