Gone downhill rapidly

I have been using Groupon since they opened. I am really disappointed as I have moved address, updated my details which shows in my details but when I got to purchase my previous address comes up.

Now when you go into 'contact us' Groupon are giving you this online chat. The person is obvious talking to more than one person because it takes them forever to respond which also adds to the frustration.

I spoke to 2 representatives. The first one 'Christine M' didn't have the patience to solve my problem, she told me what I should do, asked me if there was anything else and signed off. I took a video of the chat because I couldn't believe it.

The Second Rep 'Mas M' was much better but still didn't solve my issue and didn't seem to think it was a problem for me to change my billing address every time I placed an order. I can't afford to take that chance because if I forget to change the address one time Groupon will blame me.

I can't believe such a large company cannot fix such a simple error. I decided to close my account because they obviously don't value there customers and don't seem to have the patience to help.

What customer service?

Up until now I had been happy with Groupon. But it has been 2 weeks since I ordered and the 2 pairs of PJ'S have yet to be shipped out. They show processed an ready to ship but never ship out.

I bought something for $44.60 using PayPal. Never received product and seen there was charge for $44.60, $18.60, $25.87, and $48. Their Live Chat is not open Mon-Friday and no return call or emails from multiple attempts. This is a fraudulent company obviously!

I ordered from groupon once a year ago. After several weeks I contacted THEM and was told what I ordered was no longer available. I was angry that they didn't contact me as it was a Christmas gift and had to go find something else on short notice and vowed to not shop with them again!

GROUPON IS TERRIBLE

I cannot believe how bad the Groupon service has been and I can't believe they still have customers!? I have been trying for 3 WEEKS to get a deal featured on Groupon and despite how many emails, calls, live chats, Facebook comments, whatever I have left with them, THEY HAVE NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. I am offering them business and they've totally left me in the dark and are ignoring everything I send. I have called numerous times and had numerous emails ignored or just replied with an automated message that has no relevance to my initial email!? Terrible service, never looking at Groupon again.

Dissapointed

I ordered some items since Dec 28th and they were to be shipped by Jan 7th. The website now shows pending shipment. I sent emails, I tried the live chat 3 times during the weekend and each time, I get to the front of the line, a message comes up that there is no one to talk to. This is such a disappointment. It is my first and last time ordering from them.

I placed an order on Dec 26th, it was supposed to arrive on 7th January (latest). The status says shipment pending. They only have live chat option on weekends, so I patiently waited till the weekend to talk to somebody. First they put me on a waiting line, when I gradually become the first in line they just simply throw me out saying there's no one available to talk. I have a feeling I'm never going to get my clothes or my money. I mostly used store credit from a previous return for my purchase, so I'm thinking what is probably going to happen is that they move to groupon, along with the customers' money. I am disgusted beyond words.

I used Groupon in Poland and I'm very pleased. I were on holidays a few times, places and prices were great! I also used estetic medicine services in Warsaw and I'm very glad.

Terrible. Ripoff

Customer support is the worst I have ever dealt with. They dont call back and no way to contact them. That is very suspicious. I think they are going out of business. Live chat is a rip off. They are from overseas. How do they know whats going on and what their inventory is like. Terrible site.

I have made 3 orders over the past couple months. Of the 3, one still hasn't even been shipped after over a month. The other was shipped to a wrong address and eventually sent back to them (I was never notified of any of this), then they never reshipped to the correct address I had always given them. And this last order the dress actually did arrive, but missing the belt. There is NO WAY to contact customer service. No live chat. The customer service number I found online only sends you to voicemail stating they'll respond by the end of business day, though I've left countless messages over weeks and have NEVER heard back. And though they claim they respond to emails within 24 hours, my last email was nearly 3 days ago and they have yet to respond. I initially just thought they had terrible customer service but now I am beginning to think it's a scam. It's becoming more and more clear they have no intention of fulfilling the orders or providing a refund, so I may have to just file a dispute with my credit card. Avoid at all costs.

I knew that Ideel was being absorbed by groupon and that I still had $120 in store credit at ideel. I went to go spend the money and found that they barely had my size/stock was extremely low due to the company change. No emails have been answered, even reached out to groupon to see if my credit could be transfered and theyre just as incopetent. The woman I spoke to didnt even know Groupon owns Ideel!

I log onto Ideel today and for the first time see their announcement that they are moving to groupon. I go into my account to see my credit at $0.00. No return to my credit card or credit towards my groupon account. It has simply disappeared into thin air! I'm furious.

Has anyone had any luck speaking to an actual human over there?

I've been a customer for a few years. I make purchases on this site weekly. I'm truly frustrated with the horrible service I have received. I have an issue to be addresses. I've waiting in the chat queues just get to get the #1 spot and then be disconnected. I've been trying to reach ideel via email for over a week. I've sent numerous emails and no response still. Worst service. I will not be using this site any longer.

Bought a backpack from groupon on 6Dec2015. Goods delivered on 17Dec was totally different from what they delivered. Complaint was not responded until 2Jan2016 after several chasers. Advice provided is for me to delivered the goods to Ubi and get a proof of return before I can get a refund. Groupon was not able to provide operating hour nor the contact number. I managed to find out the number but no one received the phone. I am not sure how I will get to return the goods not knowing whether there will ever be someone there to get it from me. Better not to order anything from them. Such a lousy service.

Terrible service

I ordered sheets from groupon back in November. I still have not received them and they will refuse to contact me back. I have sent countless emails and called several times. The most annoying part is the tracking says it has been delivered. I just want my money back and a response from customer service letting me know something. I feel robbed and I don't appreciate that.

Just wanted to give a heads up to all the Groupon shoppers out there - I do not recommend buying anything fragile from this company! I loved Groupon and have bought many items and gifts from them over the past few years. I recently purchased an NHL lamp for my dad for
Christmas. I have never had a problem with packaging, shipping, quality, or returns of items before, so when I received my recent purchase I did not feel it was necessary to check that the item was in good condition. I wrapped it up and under the tree it went. However when my dad opened it, I was incredibly disappointed to see that the lamp was not packaged properly and was in pieces. There was almost nothing to hold the item securely in place, and the small bit of foam they did used is crumbled and useless. I wish I were able to post pictures here so I could show how truly awful the packaging was! I emailed Groupon requesting an exchange, return, or at least Groupon credit or something. I also offered to send pictures, send the item back, whatever was necessary. We emailed back and forth many times and I kept receiving the same pre-written response about their return policy. When I asked if there were any exceptions for items bought as Christmas gifts, I got the exact same response that I got before. I am so beyond frustrated and incredibly unhappy with the service I am receiving. I don't want anyone else to have to go through this so please, THINK TWICE BEFORE ORDERING FRAGILE ITEMS THROUGH GROUPON!

I tried to get my husband an iPhone for Christmas, and I ordered it 2 weeks in advance. It was processed and ready to be shipped next day. About 8 days later I had heard nothing from groupon, and it still wasn't shipped. I contacted groupon and asked them what was going on and they said they were busy. I waited a few more days and still nothing, so I contacted them again asking what was going on and that I needed the phone by Christmas. And they waited till 3 days before Christmas to tell me it wasn't going to make it on time and they cancelled my order and gave me my money back. At this point they've already ruined my gift for my husband, and so I let them know, and all they did was give me 5 dollar gift card and say sorry. I was upset so I said I didn't want to hear from them again. Two weeks later the phone came in the mail and they are expecting me to pay for it even though it was cancelled well before it shipped and they already refunded my money. They completely disregarded everything I sent them in my emails and had their own agenda all along, it is very poor business conduct and I don't recommend them to anyone, and will never use groupon again!
