This company has gone down hill. I have not received and photo albums since Oct 2018. It is now Feb 2019. They take their money every month from my account. My pictures have been uploaded and Groovebook does not print them. In January I snapped a screwshot of the app showing my pics were uploaded and ready for printing. I have sent them emails but they will not answer them.

Worst company
January 11, 2019

Never got my bookS! I paid for 2 and neither have shown up. It's been a month and a half since my first one. Then I email them to cancel my subscription because you can't just do it yourself. The day they said it was cancelled I also got another charge of 4.99. Would never ever recommend this company!

Worst ever
January 8, 2019

Originally I was good w gb. For the small cost of 4 bucks including shipping what the heck! Then the screw ups begin, yes plural! Didn't deliver a book and charged me. Sent the wrong books to 2 recipients. Then told me to resend the address for them, after reminding them I have FOUR times I sent the addresses again. I was told they would send the correct books at no charge.(thanks since I already paid for them). Within 30 minutes of resending the address I was charged yet again for the books they never sent. Mind you this all started September of 2018. I emailed asking to have a supervisor contact me; to date not one response. On January 5th I cancelled my subscription and today get a text from one of the recipients letting me know gb sent the wrong book again. Twice now both parties received pictures of MY DOGS! Rather than their son and grandson! I finally get an email in response to my cancellation asking if they can do anything to renew my subscription!

It's so funny. I tried out groove book years ago because my wife loves pictures. I remember only wanting to do it as a one time thing but what I and people failed to realize was once they got your credit card info they would keep charging it every month and there was vertually no way to get them to stop charging it... I don't even know how that is legal but at the time I figured I would do it as a one time thing... WRONG! I was forced to change my card information through my bank because I couldn't figure out a way to cancel the "subscription". To this day 4 long years later I still get the same e-mail every month: "Please update your billing information". Cracks me up every time. One day this scam of a organization will be gone. One day...

This company sucks
December 13, 2018

I have been a member for quite some time and every month receive duplicate photos. No matter what I do each month it is the same. Customer Service SUCKS! The problem is there aren't any good competitors out there. Guess I will cancel my service and just print at costco. I don't understand how a company so big like Shutterfly is such a failure.

Groovebook went downhill!
November 29, 2018

I used to like Groovebook. Then they switched systems and the new app was much harder to use and navigate. I have had an issue with pictures printing out blurry. I emailed them 3 times and never got a response. I tried calling Shutterfly and they are unable to do Groovebooks. Now I am stuck with paying for a book that I can't even see and no one cares or will get back to me. They have no phone number for themselves so it's ridiculously hard to make them respond when they don't answer emails

AWFUL!
November 15, 2018

I did GB when it was privately owned, it worked, it was much better,,, faster uploads things actually WORKED! Now that SF owns it, its gotten very poor, nothing opens, the app SUCKS. It just wastes hours of your time. Then before you can change things around in the photos,,, pooof,,,, NO DRAFT, nothing is saved and you must wait 20 minutes for ALL your pictures to load in again. THEY have fixed NOTHING! They know they have problems with their app, and IGNORE it, and steal your money monthly. This is a second chance I ghave them,,, Im about to cancel AGAIN. There are other sites that do the same thing. Can someone tell me what these are? Thank you.

Stay away from them
They did not send me the book, they did not respond to any of the emails I sent, and it is impossible to cancel subscription through them. They do not answer phone calls. JUST SCAM!

I've tried cancelling my subscription several months ago with no sucess, no customer service. I had to update a valid Visa card I do not use or have funds in to keep them from charging me. Every month they send me an email trying to charge me, complete scam here, changed my view on shark tank definitely will not be looking at any products associated with them ever again.

Used to love this. Send one to my parents, one to the other grandparents. Easy to use app, but WOW, the past few books half the pics are blurry and terrible, the other half look okay. Quality of paper has decreased, which is okay, but the quality needs to improve on the photos. Do they check what they are sending out. Disappointing. Will probably cancel if happens again.

Not even worth $3.99!
August 16, 2018

This used to be awesome, but picture quality has gone down so much in past few months that it isn't even worth the low fee. Plus, pictures are not centered, half of some pics are missing and some are so blurry I can't even make the picture out (they don't look like this on my phone)! Great concept and great price, but it has gotten so bad it just isn't worth it.

Inexpensive service that provides me with 40 to 100 printed photos per month. The app is a bit clunky and the photos could be a bit brighter, but the books are cute and they accomplish what I require from them.

It's a shame because the service was wonderful when it first came out. The pictures were clear, color was good, the paper was a good quality. When Shutterfly bought it, the quality of the paper and the color and clarity of the photos in the books went way down. Also, Uploading gets stuck, it uploads the same photos over and over again, even though you've uploaded 100 different photos. I love Shutterfly, but they should be ashamed for what they did to groovebook. Nothing but problems now, unfortunately. Not worth my time or money.

This company "accidentally" sends your photos and info to random people and vice versa... either they are crooked or they are a horribly run company. Do not jeopardize your photos or privacy by using them.

Ever since Shutterfly purchased groovebook, it's gone downhill. Customer service is horrible, pictures are terrible. There is NO phone number to talk to a human. For weeks it keeps telling me to update my credit card info when in fact it doesn't expire until 2021. So I did anyway again with a card that e lures in 2022. And they STILL keep sending me notices to update. I did not receive my December book. I uploaded January pictures, and when customer service finally answered an email,, they didn't answer ALL my questions. They once again told me to update billing, and said I did not upload pictures for December and January when I DID. I am thoroughly disgusted and pissed off at this company. I have been with groovebook the day after they aired on Shark Tank. Until Shutterfly purchased company, it was a great service with NO problems at all. Since then, a freakin nightmare. Plus I Received an email their service fee is going up. They were sure able to send that email-but not answer all my problems. Save your money, go elsewhere.
