I can't speak to the quality of the product, because I didn't stay long enough to find out. However, the immediate censorship was enough for me. I have a lot of memes saved to my camera roll. While selecting the photos I wanted to add to my Groovebook I noticed there was a warning stamped over the memes about about Fauci, Biden, and others that defied the media's accepted ideas of humor. I didn't attempt to add them to my photo book (wouldn't have anyway), but it's not their place to tell me what jokes to find funny. I will upload my photos to my local 1 hour photo and create my own albums.

I am canceling my account effective today. Horrible, horrible customer service. I have sent email after email after email only to receive no response. And some months they tried to charge me twice. I had to email numerous times in order for them to refund my money. In the month of July, they charged me for 2 books that I received. I am sick and angry of no communication. My recommendation is to stay far and clear away from this company! Have your pictures printed at CVS or Walgreens. Save yourself the misery. In addition, the photos are printed on cheap paper very thin and flimsy. The sheets tear and rip when you try to pull them off to share with others. A horrible product with horrible customer service. Simply HORRIBLE!

I did everything they said about a month and a half ago, the app said they shipped my book a month ago and I have not received a book yet. I am extremely upset about this. This is a complete scam.

Amazing!

Honestly, i dont know how anyone can complain! It's 4$ for a hundred pictures in a nice booklet, with dates and time stamped with an easy cut out. If you want quality then go to your nearest store, order and pickup! Groovebook is offering the convenience of ordering and printing pics right off your phone and for the average person who is not going to take the time to print at a store. What did they expect for 4$! Pictures are great. Thank you GROOVEBOOK!

I was a customer back in 2018- I got two Groovebooks sent to me before I decided to cancel my account. I sent an email to the Groovebook Help team and got a confirmation email stating I had successfully cancelled my account in March of 2018.
Two years later I was going through my bank statement and saw that I have still been getting charged a membership fee. I sent yet another email to the help team demanding to know why I am still being charged for a membership I cancelled over two years ago and telling them they will credit back to me any money they have wrongfully taken from my account after my cancellation date. I added three photos proving my cancellation email along with two photos of my card being charged from Groovebook. I got back an email stating "We see that your account is still active and we do not see any charge."

The customer service and overall company is an absolute joke and terror to work with. It is completely unacceptable for a company to start recharging a past customer of over two years ago money for something they have proof of them cancelling in the first place.

I ordered two months of books and never received either of them. My first order was on April 15, never received. I ordered the second one at the beginning of May but my hopes are very low considering I didn't get the first one. Also, had a free book code but noticed they charged my card anyway!

COMPLETE FRAUD!

They stopped sending me my groove book. No tele # to speak to someone. I tried to cancel my account and they would not cancel. They continued to charge my credit card even after they stopped sending the groove books. NO CUSTOMER SERVICES!

I've had ordered quite a few books since 2014, and those books from the early years are now completely USELESS! Pictures are faded, starting to get fuzzy, and the color changed drastically compare to pictures printed on real photo paper. I keep all my photos in the same closed cabinet, no sun light, and not going through them often at all. Feel like I wasted all the money and now I have to print them ALL AGAIN, that's 6 years of pictures. Thanks for nothing.

I haven't received a photo book in months! They are still charging my credit card. On top of that trying to contact them is a nightmare. There is no phone number but an email address that never responds.
Very disappointing.

When you email for support, the replies are coded paragraphs making it look like your getting a personal response and just wait until you wrestle with understanding what they say. Total waste of Money

The worst!

I was randomly charged $17 I emailed them to find out why I was charged they say it's because I haven't paid in a few months so they bulk the charge together? I was just charged July 15 $4.32! I emailed them back to show me which months I wasn't charged and if so isn't that an issue on their end? I have my proof, every month payment was deducted. How can I even submit to print photos if there was a payment issue? I told them I have proof of payments and they stopped responding when I told them to show me their proof of non payment. Thieves!

Going downhill

Like a lot of the other reviews Groovebook was great until Shutterfly took over. The quality of the photos has gotten worse. I ordered their magnets and when the first set came in the images were completely blurry. I thought maybe it was because I zoomed in just a hair it distorted the image. The last set I ordered I did not alter the picture at all and it came in just as blurry as the last set. Why did the reminder feature get removed? Will never purchase from them again and will be canceling my subscription.

I was at first happy with Groivebook. They sent me a reminder each month to upload my photos. Suddenly I stopped getting reminders and forgot to upload my photos but still got charged. 4 months have passed and apparently there's nothing I can do about past months where they stopped reminding me to load photos. Annoyed and canceled subscription

What a joke of a company they have overcharged me $32 at this point they will charge multiple times for the same book, then send random photos in books that I never even selected. They do not answer emails or messages you have to publically blast them on Facebook. I had to actually cancel my credit card because they wouldn't stop charging it when I wasnt even ordering anything and then they have the audacity to say it's my bank sorry my bank doesnt just randomly charge "groovebook" charges and you can ask to cancel your membership over and over you will be ignored and even if they say yeah we cancelled it they still charge your card. Also had more than one book "lost in transit" the last conversation I had (on a a public Facebook photo on their page otherwise they dont respond) they aspired me I had a free one and I have still not gotten it. This was over a month ago. Have been dealing with these issues since January. I have attached images of my ignored emails, them over charging my card and them saying I have a free book when I never got it. Or if I did they picked the photos for me (which they seem to like to do) because the photos I had ordered from the free book were from my little brothers funeral and celebration of life. I cant believe these people are even in business at all.

SCAM!

I have been charged for almost a year after "canceling" (I have email confirmation that the request was completed - yea right!) and had to call credit card company to block them from all further charges. Complete scam. No one is responsive in customer service email for SIX MONTHS. Cut your losses, block their charges, move on.
