The pictures are faded and not clear very disappointed in the quality of the pictures. At first I thought it was my camera, but the pics I am downloading are very clear. You guys need to fix this issue
The price might be right, and it might be fun at first to receive all your pictures, however, the pictures look faded and have sunlines through them. DON'T try and cancel your subscription, because they will keep charging you long after your subscription has been cancelled. I emailed them several times asking for a refund because they charged me after I cancelled my subscription. The only email you get back is automated email saying they are sorry I cancelled. Shark Tank may endorse their business, but they forgot to tell everyone whats wrong with the company.
My daughter signed up for this using my credit card (we "shared" a card while she was in college). My bad that I didn't notice the recurring charge for six months. When I asked her about it she said she could never get it to work and forgot she had signed up for it. When I contacted the company in Jan 2015 to cancel (by email), they replied that I hadn't given them enough info to find my account so it couldn't be canceled. A day later they sent an email saying the issue had been resolved, but they continued to charge me every single month. I finally had to call my credit card company to dispute charges and block them from further charges.
I love the idea of this service and I love the price point. However, the quality is very very poor and low quality. Paper is very thin. Photos are blurry and off in color. I expect them to deteriorate further with time. I stuck with it for 9 months and have 9 books. I didn't have any problem with the app, customer service or billing. I just hate the quality and had to finally cancel my membership.
I signed up for this because I had a promo code for a first free month. I figured this would be a good way to print out my instagram photos but almost all of them were extremely grainy with off colors. I figured it was because of the filters so my next book I only used pictures directly off my phone. Still the same problem. The pictures are not printed on picture paper, they are very thin and the pictures are typically a smaller size than the book. The app idea is great but the product you get is really useless, plus I had to cancel my credit card in order to get them to stop charging me.
I was so excited about this idea when I saw it on Sharktank. Great idea! I signed up immediately. My first book came and it was great. Since then not great at all. I have trouble uploading the pictures everytime. They are all automatically selected and it's very time consuming to go thru and de-select all the pictures I don't want. Once completed they won't load and I have to start all over again. Finally, after several attempts I have them loaded and sent off only to receive my book a month later with the first 100 pictures on my phone. The last one even contained multiple copies of the crappy pictures that I did not select to download. Not the pictures I selected at all! This has happened every month since the original first book. I have contacted customer service only to be told basically that I did it wrong. I am so disappointed it's not funny. I will be cancelling or at least trying to since it sounds like they refuse to remove the charges from your account.
The pictures are not that great they're very cheap looking and they take a long time to arrive. I'm in the process of canceling and the customer service is horrible, after 3 attempts they haven't answered or canceled. DO NOT USE This app they're horrible
Even I deleted my creditcard info, it still constantly charge me. Ridiculous! Don't use it!

I downloaded this after seeing them on the National news. Received one book of very poor quality and have not received another book in 8 months even though my account continued to be charged. I sent countless emails to discontinue charges and never received any response back! I finally cancelled my credit card outright to stop the charges! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
It was a real nightmare to cancel, they are not helpful at all and I had to call My credit card company to put a stop because they will kept charging me. They took a long time to respond and when they did it was a automatic message each time. After I put a stop on my credit card then they started sending me emails to upgrade my credit card. The wanted to charge me more. Its sad how the Shark Tank investors are allowing this
I was so excited after my first book. Pictures were great and I liked the idea of saving my pictures in one little book and now I can't get a book. It took them 2 months to get my December pictures and now I am still waiting for February. Something always is wrong with my card for some unexplained reason, I have to email everyday. I am in the process of terminating the service. Huge disappointment. Glad to see the reviews of others, I thought I was the only one.
I just sent a request for canceling membership, which is my 4th time attempts. It seem like they don't care. Last order was June 2014. Since I sent my request, I thought they have canceled my membership but NO. I don't know what else can I do?
1st let me just say the one good thing about them is that you get a hundred pictures really cheap the pictures are NOT the best quality they are really thin and the color is not real great but with the prices nowadays so they say $2.99 for all the pictures well now that's not the case they charge you more than that and if you put a card on there that has money they will continuously keep charging you without your knowledge and without you approving it so in all reality there is a hidden agenda there. Then to top it off there's no 1 800 number or no number to contact anybody just do it over the internet yeah so they don't have to deal with the issues when they know that people are not satisfied. At first I did recommend and download the site for a few of my friends and now I'm telling people do noteven look at this app they are crooks and all thry want is your money so BEAWARE STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROOVEBOOK! In just sayin and let it be known that u have been warned!
This was a gift for my husband and I after our marriage. I was totally excited because I am a picture lover and would be printing the pictures anyway. The gift giver, we will call her J, sent me all the information that GroveBook stated that I would need to get started. I followed the directions to a T. That was in October, November comes around and I get an email stating that there was a problem with the billing. Took me almost a month go get it sorted out, they only way to contact them is by email, very frustrating. I actually had to call them out on their facebook page to get a response to my emails! After receiving my first Grovebook I was very unimpressed with the quality of the photo and the fact that only one random picture is the size of the page in the book which is the size of a regular printed photo from Walmart. Not to mention that the color was crappy, to say the least, and the photos were grainy. Of course I referred to my pictures to make sure that I had not take them in the manner they were being presented to me and I had not. They were beautiful colorful non-grainy pictures on my device. This lead me to doing some research. I found out that if you use your smart phone the likely hood that the pictures will be the full size of the Grovebook is a joke. However I did read that if you use your camera or upload them from the computer there is a chance that they would be the entire page, WRONG. I have tried all forms up upload to Grovebook and I get the same crappy quality. I am so discouraged that I have not even been using my gift. I decided to write this review because after the first mishap with with billing I thought I was out of the woods and could enjoy what little pleasure and usable pictures I got for the remaining 8 months. Boy was I wrong. I received yet another email stating that there was a problem with the billing, but didn't you just tell me that there were 11 credits on my account? I have replied to them email and their solutions are not even really solutions to the problem they emailed me about! If I could have given less than 11 star I would have because in my opinion the rating should be negative stars!
I am not getting books. Won't let me upload. I syarted Nov 17 th and got first two books but next one had to request and still waiting for February book. Have sent emails no answer. What can i do?
Received my first Groovebook in Jan. Was disappointed with the quality of the photos. Blurry, poor color. I wrote to Groovebook and they sent me a new book free of charge but the pics we're not any better than the first set. I just received my 2nd Groovebook now and I'm really sad to say the pictures are no better than before. Blurry and poor color. The pictures are not worthy to put in a frame and display. I do like that each photo shows where it was taken and the date. That's about all I like so far. Now I'm stuck for 10 more months of poor quality photos. Great idea, bad product. Shutterfly... get with the program
Groove book used to be great, but since moving to shutterfly, it has completely gone in the toilet. So much so that it makes me dislike shutterfly---a company I greatly liked prior to this experience. They used to allow you to upload pictures in advance, so if I had more than 100 photos one month I would just upload in advance to the next month. Not anymore... now they want you to pay an extra 2.99 for an extra book. It stinks of corporate greed tactics to pad the bottom line! When I contacted customer service (by email b/c that's all that is available) I got a template response that didn't even address my question. Shipping is also dreadfully slow.
Groovebook--you never should have sold out. If things don't improve fast, I will be canceling my subscription.
It was so awesome the pictures were great always received my books in great time now I can't even get them to send a book but keep getting charged twice a month and they do not seem to care at all!
I've had a membership for quite a while now, two books per month. I used to love it and raved about the app to anyone who would listen. The paper was thin, but the picture quality was great for such a cheap, compact book of prints.
My last 2 books, however, are garbage. The pictures are so dark and grainy ans the books literally stink. The chemical odor is enough to knock you out.
I'll be looking into canceling before the next set of books is due. :(
Answer: They are a horrible company... until the BBB or Attorney General's office gets on their case, they'll keep abusing customers. They didn't respond as Groovebook, and now with Shutterfly it's the same deal. Cancel your payments and sever your ties with them... otherwise you'll have aggravation forever. BJ
Answer: It is impossible to cancel! I had to dispute 6 months of charges to my credit card. Groovebook responded to my email cancellation 3 times and confirmed cancellation. However they continued to charge me. Thank goodness my CC expired so now every month they email me to say they are having trouble processing my payment and need a new CC. They are awful!
Answer: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME! LOVED it until Shutter fly bought it... then the picture quality went to crap... grainy... poor color. HORRIBLE! There is NO customer service person to speak to... only email... and all you get is a generic scripted answer. IF you haven't signed up. DONT! If you have CANCEL!
Answer: Parkingtoday are now working after months and months of problems so hopefully the glitches have been fixed
