Interesting there's no ZERO STAR BC THEY DO NOT DESERVE EVEN A 1 STAR! Fkn incompetence at its finest! Both times I tried their delivery service, it was a nightmare. From no delivery to hours spent on hold trying to get a refund. Un$#*!ingbelievable!
Usually good service, but on 3/5/23 received salas that says use by 2/19/23. Walmart should be checking shelves for expired food!
They are using Door Dash. I paid 8 bucks plus tax for the delivery service and tipped on top of that. Walmart thinks I should tip a percentage of the value of my order. I do not. I will not tip 15 bucks on top of the delivery charge. If you don't offer a huge tip, the drivers just refuse the order. No one tells you. I am no longer a customer.
1. The sour dough bread was not the same as I ordered.
2. I ordered cookies and cream ice cream and received chocolate.
3. Part of order was left down sidewalk away from from front door.
4. Never have receive a receipt with order.
I have placed the same order three times which means they have held authorizations of over $300 and I have yet to receive one delivery. I got the service because I have Covid and was going to utilize door delivery. First order attempted (NOT) then canceled. Customer service said drivers sometimes don't show up so that's "maybe" what happened. So I reorder, another $100, delivery was delivered but not to me. Not my door not my door number so someone got all of my groceries… soooo Number three is the charm right? Order again the same day for one last slot time of 9-10 pm so I can have food. Order delivered 10:04 pm but NOT TO MY DOOR! Customer says again "sorry we will contact store and make complaint" in the best broken English possible because customer service is 12 hours ahead of us in another country! Now they have $300 of my money for 5-10 business days held as an authorization and I have nothing. If I walked into Walmart and loaded my basket up with $300 of food I would go to jail even though they have my money held, YET they can hold my money and give no purchase which is basically theft and it's legal for up to 10 business days apparently. I hope Walmart gets sucked in a black hole by Amazon and Target. They are crooked and then hire third party crooks to deliver groceries and then hire overseas customer service agents who can't speak English to say "Oh I'm so very very sorry for your inconvenience" in broken English repeatedly. Ughhhhhh…. The photos are all the authorizations they've made in two days and I have absolutely ZERO OF ITEMS ORDERED!
Would rate it 0 if possible. They should never charge for this absolutely awful service. Delivery was to be 24 hours ago, still haven't received it. No driver assigned, so not even sure it will arrive today if at all. Excuses and contradictory reasons given. Will not use this service ever again.
I order at least twice a week for delivery but out of 10 items, 3 items are substituted. Or more. And ordering fresh bread, or lettuce mixes, they stick you with the ones that expire tomorrow or same day. Or they forget to deliver several items. Low stock on chips, kefir, Greek yoghurt, breads, cookies so I can't get the minimum of $35. Don't do it!
Tell me why I just signed up 3 days ago for Walmart food delivery and I've already had 3 problems. Compared to Amazon fresh it's not even a competition.
At first, I was excited because Walmart doesn't charge delivery fees on small orders unlike Amazon fresh which forces you to meet minimum purchase requirements to avoid extra fees.
I had a grocery delivery coming this morning. This driver delivered only 12 of the 24 items I ordered. Literally half of my order was missing.
The driver for my last order delivered to the wrong house. I had to go flag the driver down and tell her she was at the wrong house and help her bring my order back to my house.
A few months ago I scheduled a grocery deliver for I think 8-9pm. I called customer service at 10pm when my order still wasn't here. They told me that the driver got to the store and then left, and now there were no drivers available so they would need to deliver the next morning. Next morning my order was still not delivered. I called customer service again, they said it was running late. I was notified that my order was delivered, but it was not. I called back again and they said that my order was lost, and then finally ended up just issuing a refund.
Our company used "Walmart delivery from store" 25 times over a 2 week period, utilizing 3 different store locations and delivering to 5 different residences.
This resulted in only 2 out of 10 items ultimately being delivered at all. On every single order, The driver stated the item was no longer available, and Walmart chose to leave the items off the order and not replace them with similar available items, as we requested when ordering. If you depend on the delivery of your items, do not use this service. As a result, we lost clients and had chargebacks in excess of $9,000 from disgruntled airbnb clients who required the items when promised. Even when items were in stock, drivers often just don't show up and left the order in limbo for days beyond before automatically canceling the order. There is no way to communicate with the driver and when you speak with Walmart support, they speak from a script and make false promises that do not get fulfilled. There is a reason everyone opts for Amazon... But for same day delivery this was our only perceived option, which backfired in a massive way.
For the last 3 deliveries, I received notification that the order has been delivered when it has not. I also always require signature on my items, and clearly no one is showing up so that I can sign off. When I called customer service, they were rude, talked over me, and argued with me, then told me I need to wait until 10PM for my order. What is the point of reserving a time if you're then expected to wait until 10PM for your groceries. The service is becoming a joke and I am going to cancel Walmart+, and will go back to using Instacart exclusively. This doesnt happen with Instacart. This is becoming a trend and I want no part of it.
I'm sick and I purchased some items last night. My husband was home with me to receive the delivery. I receive 3 texts in a row. The first said my delivery was on its way, the second said it would be arriving soon, and the last text said the delivery was attemped. This was a lie! We were home! I called Walmart and found out that Rene Saldana from the Evergreen Park store in Illinois was suppose to deliver it. She is a liar. I tried to reach the store but I couldn't reach anyone (no surprise). This is a lesson learned. I will shop somewhere else. I don't care if their prices are low. It's not worth the headache. Now that I think about it, there is a reason why there's a website called people of walmart. They should have another website that exposes the terrible employees too.
I placed an order at 4:30pm and my delivery time was selected for 8-9pm because that's the only time I could select. At 8:30 they sent me an update through the app saying my order was delayed. At 10pm I still hadn't heard anything from anyone & no matter which selection I pressed when calling the store, they wouldn't answer. I had to screw around with the online chat & "lie to it" to get an agent. The agent said that the store couldn't find any drivers to deliver my order, but miraculously one just showed up and my order was being picked up right now (at 10:15pm). I live 8 minutes away from my store (if my car was running I would've picked it up myself) It's now 10:30 and the app still hasn't been updated saying that someone is on their way. They wouldn't even give me a discount on my almost $200 order. They couldn't even pick up the phone & call me to let me know what was going on. They definitely don't offer you anything back when they screw up horribly.
You'd think the app or website would have a half way accurate inventory. You'd think if it was in stock online, you'd get the product delivered. Nope. It seems like they don't bother looking for anything but instead just mark it as unavailable. I never allow substitutions as they sub for something completely different. A third of my order today, was unavailable.
I tried placing a delivery order to save time, since we were unable to go to the store. The order was indefinitely delayed, no updates were given, and we ended up wasting more time in the end. Walmart consistently does this and I could not, in good conscience, recommend their services to anyone. It's just not worth it.
Walmart grocery delivery is just ok. I have a Walmart plus membership and it pays for itself with free delivery between groceries on items from Walmart.com. The grocery app is easy to use but there is one major flaw. I'm rarely successful at updating substitutions. I'll get a text, go into the app, decide that no I don't want 3 loves of bakery French bread instead of the sliced sourdough I asked for. I'll decline it and it always shows up anyway. Then I'm stuck. If I wanted to go into Walmart to return these items I'd probably do my own shopping in the first place! And don't get me started on the fruit and produce. Moldy fruit, strawberries with BROWN tops, etc. You'd probably find better fruit abandoned on the side of the road. Seriously.
Walmart now contracts out with other companies to deliver their groceries and it's now the DRIVERS and NOT the employees picking your order. If they don't see the item, they just tag it as "out of stock," but then don't pick the substitutions they're supposed to pick. When Walmart employees use to pick the orders I'd ALWAYS get a text saying, "substitutions have been picked for your order, and some items were out of stock. Please check in or call within the next 60 minutes to approve the substitutions and to order replacement for out of stock items." Well now, the driver doesn't do ANY of that. To these low quality service drivers, in their minds, "you don't get what you don't get. Too bad." I'm disabled, and can't get to the store, so I NEED EVERYTHING I ORDERED. I need to be able to have that 60 mins to find a replacement! PLUS...I have to tip these "I don't give a crap minded" drivers, MULTIPLE TIMES FOR THE SAME ORDER when I have to put in another order another day to get the items the first lazy bahookie refused to shop!
The worst thing Walmart ever did was stop having their own employees fill your orders. When they started contracting out their deliveries, service quality fell into the black hole. Good grief those drivers don't care if you get your items or if your bananas are brown, or anything! But a Walmart employee did care! The other problem is, there's NOWHERE TO COMPLAIN! When the store employees did it, you could call the store manager and it wouldn't happen again. With these yahoos, you don't even know who or what is picking your order!
WALMART GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER! By the time I pay my $12 a month Walmart plus fee, then another $30 in monthly tips having drivers bring multiple orders, it's no longer worth it. I'm not saving any money. Ive decided to go old school and pay a nice high school kid $40 a month to pick up my order at the pickup stall. $40 a month to get my groceries and bring them in? At least I'm not paying some worthless contracted company who doesn't give a crap and now some high schooler can get community service credits for their college scholarship application
I order from Walmart mart in canton mi for delivery. The people picking the items always send item olf on shelf or right at experdation date. And want me to brign back to store for refund. I pay over 100 dollars for delivery. This way we get the junk food left over. Beware
This is the latest frustrating experience I've had with Walmart delivery. My order was supposed to be here between 5-6pm and it is now 640pm. I called the call centre and at 6pm they said my order was going to be here in 15 minutes which was a lie. I tried calling the Kanata Walmart Superstore with no response on the phones! Never again will I order from them.
One order went to the wrong address! One order missing items! One order 3 hrs late customer service kept telling me that it will be delivered at expected time at 5 pm when i inquired about the order at 6? I order for a daycare and i always get rude drivers that they need us to help unload because its so much! We are paying for this service for a reason. Had a driver leave food on sidewalk and one that threw our bags at the door! 100 words is not enough for this review! HORRIBLE SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
