Incompetent

Delivery made to the wrong address, no accountability and it defeats the purpose of ordering online, if now I've got to go into the store and wait on my refund, in order to make a purchase!

At 1st I thought it was a brilliant idea to have Walmart deliver my groceries especially since I had surgery and couldn't get around, but items were missing more and more frequently and the problem came in with the complaints about missing food. Over time they decided to cancel my future orders and I still haven't received my refunds even though I have email confirmations stating that they would for food I have never received because they canceled it. How am I going to be blamed for food your store is not sending? What would Walmart prefer just robbing people blind. Now I don't now if the store or the drivers are to blame but I know that I am not to blame and I will not allow them to keep money for items I I don't receive. Eventually whoever is in charge will see how much this service sucks. And if ever there is a class action law suit filed I will be amongst the 1st crew to sue. Walmart punishes its customers for its poor customer service.No refunds only promises of refund after you cancel my order for a refund violation due to your store not bringing me my food I paid for. Upsetting!

Drivers are lazy AF

Your delivery driver will be either preteen children or little old ladies that actually deliver the groceries.The person that is supposed to deliver the groceries is not necessarily the person that does the work. A lot of drivers bring their children along to do the lifting and carrying. Or its a senior citizen with limited arm strength. These drivers will say anything to get you to go downstairs and get YOU to deliver your own groceries regardless of however far away from your front door that might be. So if you are disabled like me, you are in for some heavy lifting up the stairs. Walmart needs to keep their employees in check instead of letting just whoever show up and consequently failing to fulfill the labor position of grocery delivery person. I use the service because atleast half of the time there is no issue. However this service is a total crapshoot as to whether they will do the delivering or make you do it instead. And yes, I get in arguments with these lazy drivers. Omg sooo lazy. In the time we spend arguing they could have made my delivery twice. These delivery drivers need a wake up call as to how to do their job. And quit sending kids to do an adults job.

Every single order will be missing items. They don't attempt to contact you over substitutions, they just cancel your items and multiple items will be canceled every time. It seems like a great service at first glance but you will be disappointed with every single order when half of your items are cancelled without notice.

Waited 3 months for a 75" Hisense television. They rescheduled the delivery 4 times. When it finally arrived it had a huge crack in the screen. I immediately called customer service where I couldn't understand a word coming from the representative and to no surprise they couldn't help me and to call back 24-48 hours. So I may be out of $1000+ dollars. Do not buy Wal-Mart online for the holiday or anytime for that matter. If I get rate negative stars I would.

The worst
December 7, 2021

I had a few bad deliveries. Black Friday deals and gifts for my kiddos. On the 3rd of Dec. Package wasn't delivered said delayed so today (Monday 3 days later) package is lening against my trash cans box completely opened my package had lent on the tape. I got the serta pillows for kids and pillows were dirty. This is crap already never again will I order online again from Walmart. Don't know who deliveries but they are worthless. Bad enough they can't track who brought my opened box to my home. People who can't get a real job do these deliveries and do a crazy job at it.

Seriously, awful. I do not know why I keep giving them chances. Every order I place for grocery delivery has issues. Typically, the issue is "DELAYED" or "STORE CANCELED". Delays are common, and I am not talking one-hour delays, I am talking SIX-hour delays and then being canceled. How can anyone possibly rely on this service? This has happened to me AT LEAST A DOZEN TIMES and each time I am assured the kinks are being worked out of the system. Usually, they tell me the driver assigned to my order, canceled the delivery job so then my order just sits there in limbo. The chat agents cannot do anything, they just see what I see on the app. Then they requested a callback for me... I received a call from a call center in India and I am currently on hold after 12 minutes with this call center. Add to that, the fact I am going to have to get off the phone and go do the shopping anyway, at least an hour of my life has been wasted along with the $99 membership fee.

When you have a grocery delivery problem you get stonewalled by customer service, they lie as well. Twice now they have screwed up, the first time my driver left groceries elsewhere, this time they said he rang my bell and I di not answer, considering I got a text saying he was on his way, why would I want yet another disaster, now THEY chose to cancel my order and hear I wait for my refund, I am disabled and out of food, what now right? Are they making profits hanging onto our refund funds?

Delivery really sucks.

I ordered Walmart delivery Nov 30 2021 and my order was delayed. Never received it called to check status 3 times. Nothing came. Dec 1st called and supposed to received a refund. Nothing. Today Dec 2nd just off the phone with customer service again and I suppose to receive my refund today. Reason didn't get it was it was still in a delayed status cause delivery driver didn't update status about car trouble.

I have experienced deliveries going to wrong house, delayed deliveries multiple times, as much as 6 hrs after multiple calls to store. 3rd party delivery service is the problem. I don't know what Walmart should do, but they should change who they currently deal with or get someone that knows how to manage home deliveries. What is currently happening is totally unacceptable for Walmart.

Disappointed BIG time

The nearest walmart supercenter closest to me is about 13 miles away, I checked to see if they deliver to my home, which they do... so after making my selection, when i go to my cart, i see "PICK UP ONLY", so I change delivery option to "DELIVERY" and guess what... every single perishable items (meats, veggies, fruits) are "OUT OF STOCK", the only deliverable items are the non-perishable items, which can shipped without subscribing to Walmart+... what a wasted effort.

First time I orderred, it was a day late. Then I was even told that the food just sits in a basket waiting on a driver. I was told by customer service that the drives sometimes cancel the delivery. Instead them finding a new driver, your items just sit there. I gave them another chance a few days ago. It was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 9-10am. Same thing happened. It is not 8 pm the next day and still nothing. I have spoken to numerous customer service agents and instead of them calling and handling this. I'm being told I can wait for 48 hour but there is no guarantee it will be delivered or I can cancel, wait 10 business days for a refund, and reorder. I've never seen this before. So the agents don't actually fix the issue at all? This is crazy and Walmart needs to stick to in-store sales. I will stick to Target if I need curbside or delivery. This is ridiculous.

Disgusting rotten carrots. Given to me via online pick up at walmart store pickup. This is walmarts way of getting rid of rotten or same day expiring foods. All my meats were same day expiring, very frowned upon. I hope i get sick so i can sue. Dont feed your kids this stuff who knows how else they handle things if that is what they do.

My elderly mother took like 2 mins to get to the door, The driver was either from Somalia or ethiopia he starts yelling saying oh were taking up his time and he doesnt have time for this... so rude Walmart needs better delivery people not just hire people because the have a driver's license. This is ridiculous

Never got my groceries delivered! Have been calling their customer service line for days with the same run around! Was told that my order is stuck in the system and hasn't been officially cancelled. Asked for compensation for my inconvenience got one $25 egift card and some promo codes that can only be used online. Some smart mouth told me today that I wouldn't be given a timeline on when my refund will go through. Go with another delivery service please! Totally unprofessional and not worth the headache!

I place a large grocery order every two weeks and 80% of the time I have several items missing from the order. Two months ago, it was so bad that I received only one out of 12 meat items that I ordered. Customer service thought the entire meat order was left in the freezer at the store, but couldn't even get through to check so they gave me a refund. That's great and all, but I still need the meat, and had to place another order to receive it. At least that time it all arrived. This week I tried to place an order and my order was cancelled for "return violations." What have I returned? Nothing! However, when you go through the online system to say that you have missing items you must do so through returns. So now I'm blocked from placing any orders because they can't get the orders right. Literally, being punished for something I didn't do! And if they thought it was just a con job on my end, then let me just say this... nobody tips the drivers $20-$30 each time to steal $10 of merchandise. Duh! They need to fix their damn system! I spent enough time and effort with customer service to credit me for the missing items and now I've called 8 times about the "return violations" and can't get a straight answer. They claim there isn't one on the account, but says there is a security issue now. After four days, it still isn't fixed. What a waste of time! Buy someplace else is my best advice. The aggravation isn't worth it!

Placed an online grocery order 11/17/21 paid for expedited services and received confirmation delivery time before 5:56 pm.
Email Notice received at 5:54 pm order delayed. Contacted Help Center at 7:00 pm was told order would be delivered by 10:00 pm. Order was not delivered and no updates by 9:45 pm, Called Help Center and was advised my order would be delivered on 11/18/21 between 8-9am. 11/18/21 10{40 am No order no update. Contacted Help Center (again) advised order would be delivered. 12:27 pm Notice received I had cancelled the order. I never canceled my order. Another call to the Help Center, only to be told the cancellation was done by driver (?) Money taken from my account by Walmart, yet no groceries and no other options being offered. All attempts to reach anyone at the store have all gone unanswered. For those who cannot afford to wait 7-10 days for a refund in order to purchase food elsewhere... I would not recommend using this service, it is not worth the risk or inconvenience. Time to eat will not understand!

MADE A $150.00 GROCERY ORDER AT OCEANSIDE MARRON WALMART THAT ONLY I KNEW ABOUT, WAS TOO SICK TO PICK UP, TRIED TO CANCEL ORDER BUT NOT ABLE TO-NO WORRIES WALMART WEBSITE STATES YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED. BUT WAS CHARGED VIA CREDIT CARD STATEMENT. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD ORDER WAS PICKED UP SO I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT. I TRIED TO CONTACT OCEANSIDE MARRON WALMART MANAGER AND WAS DISCONNECTED. I WAS NOT ABLE TO FIND OUT WHO LOADED THE CAR NOR VIEW VIDEO OF "PICK UP". MADE
DISPUTE WITH MY CITI CREDIT CARD FOR FRAUDULENT CHARGES BY OCEANSIDE CA WALMART AND NOT RECEIVING ITEMS. WALLY SENT CITI CREDIT CARD A SALES RECEIPT THAT READ ORDER WAS "PICKED UP". CITI CREDIT CARD DID NO RESEARCH SUCH AS PROOF OF WHO PICKED UP ORDER SO CITI CARD SIDED WITH WALMART AND I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE "PICKED UP"=STOLEN ORDER. NEXT STEP IS TO FILE POLICE REPORT AGAINST WALMART AND ALSO REPORT TO CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU AGAINST CITI CREDIT CARD. UNLIKE 1000'S OF OTHER DISSATISFIED WALLY CUSTOMERS I WILL STILL SHOP THERE BUT CASH ONLY. I LEARNED A RELATIVELY INEXPENSIVE LESSON ABOUT CREDIT CARDS, DO NOT BELIEVE THE "YOU ARE ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR $50 LAW" BECAUSE THAT IS ONLY IF YOUR CREDIT CARD SIDES WITH YOU AND IN THIS CASE CITI CREDIT CARD DID NOTHING TO RESEARCH THE SITUATION (THEY MAY NOT HAVE THE AUTHORITY BUT JUST THE SAME YOUR GOING TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DOLLAR AMOUNT OF FRAUD UNLESS THE PERSON WHOM COMMITTED THE FRAUD ADMITS IT. BEWARE/BE WARNED. I MIGHT OF EXPECTED THIS FROM A ONLINE OVERSEAS MERCHANT BUT NOT A LOCAL OCEANSIDE CA WALMART. WHETHER IT WAS A CLERICAL ERROR OR WALMART INTERNAL EMPLOYEE THEFT I AM PAYING MY MONEY FOR THIS INJUSTICE.
