I absolutely do not recommend inhome service. If they don't cancel your order for no reason then they will deliver your groceries to the front door and leave them sitting there. They are supposed to follow the directions that I provided in their inhome app telling them where my refrigerator was located (screenshot of their app asking for delivery directions). I had to spend my time calling them so the driver would come back and put the perishable items in the refrigerator and freezer. The groceries were delivered at 11:03 on my front porch and they didn't come back until 11:50 to put them away correctly. I don't leave my milk, eggs or frozen items out of the refrigerator/freezer for that long. The items had to be replaced and then they couldn't replace them all because they were out. So they wouldn't refund me for the item they couldn't replace and told me i had to call the 1800 number - a lot more time wasted. Now they tell me they can't see the delivery instructions that I had to fill out in their own app. So frustrating and I've had to waste so much of my time calling them to correct everything. They couldn't deliver my very first order because they couldn't charge their vehicle, so I had to pick up my groceries after paying for the delivery service. On another delivery I saw from my security camera the associate not put any items into the freezer, so I had to waste more time trying to get someone to pick up the phone at the store to send the delivery person back. Not worth it.
No opportunity to substitute items after you get an email saying they're out of an item. Not listed as out of stock. I'm extremely pissed.
At first it started okay. Then little buddy little I noticed items missing. Next the driver stole my groceries. And customer service is no help at all. Guess it's time for us to stop being lazy and go shopping ourselves again.
Walmart deliver service is an unorganized mess. I order 3 times and each no delivering. I call to see where my order was and was assured it would be delivered. The people could care less if you get your food no followed up or apology simple put They Suck!
When you order something it doesn't come but the price is still the same so there ripping you off this. The drivers are also lazy as $#*!.
I am happy with this service per se. What I am NOT happy about is constantly ordering food that is showing in stock online when I order it and then it's "out of stock" when it comes time to deliver my order. They need to start "harvesting" these items when the orders are made, not 12 hours later when enough opportunities have occurred in store for the product to become sold out. I had an order today with about a dozen items on it and 5 of them are now "out of stock" for delivery when they were certainly "in stock" when I ******* ordered them. Despite my colossal annoyance at this ongoing problem I still think it is well worth the cost to not have to go out and get this stuff myself.
Most orders so far have been on time and complete. Expiry dates within bounds. But lately, the service totally collapsed. No explanation. No nothing. I like the convenience and I tip well, but no more of this. If I want it done right, I need to do it myself or hire my own shopper.
If I wanted to GO to the store, I wouldn't have ordered delivery. No one will answer any lines at the store so you cannot even advise you are missing items you paid for. Pathetic.
I paid for a year of Walmart + in June so groceries would be delivered to us. We're disabled & count on the delivery service. It's not available at all more than 50% of the time. Selecting a time a week away doesn't help either. It will be canceled usually at the last minute. New Hope Commons Walmart is the worst store I've ever done business with. They take your money but don't give you the service you've paid for. I'll never renew my subscription with them. They're a joke! Amazon is 1000 times better.
I am in the Rocky Mount Area. Walmart customer services straight trash they never answer the phones. If I could give them no stars I would. Okay so I placed my order at 9 or 10 am reserved my time for 8 or 9 pm it is currently 11pm and I still haven't heard any thing yet no update no nothing Walmart need to tighten up I bet I will not pay another month for this bs Service and half of my items never arrive they also give very short notice when the item is not available which I don't get because why is it available online if y'all don't have it in the store
I had a partial order that was being delivered but all of a sudden, the guy decided not to deliver and went back to the store. Hours later, Walmart decided to cancel my order for no reason.
I learned quickly -no substitution's-place order for morning delivery-And expect that some items may be out of stock. Honestly most times orders are close to 100% complete and accurate-when an item is missing or damaged- they issue credit immediately in most situations.
The Bad-when there is a problem and a long delay in delivery, very poor communication-learned quickly best action is to cancel order and reorder -many times believe it is a lack of delivery drivers.
For me still a time saver- expect the unexpected
The benefits and on time deliveries out number the problems
If I could give 0 stars I would. My last 4 deliveries were missing items. I need dog food today... so I ordered a few extra things to meet the 35 dollar limit for delivery. I got everything but the dog food. Now I am waiting 7-10 business days for them to return my money. And this is the 3rd time. I am canceling my delivery service with them as soon as my money is returned. And would never recommend them to anyone. This service is not worth 12.95 a month + tipping the driver. Never again.
The excuse from Walmart was it's no longer in stock. The truth is: I ordered an instock baby onesie for delivery and was given any date to deliver. What Walmart doesn't tell you is if you don't deliver immediately and the instock item is sold out before the offered delivery date your don't get the present. What I got instead were emails confirming the day to deliver up until the day of delivery then on the day of delivery the item was sold to others. I was refunded my money. I was told by CS that is how Walmart works their system but nowhere was there a warning telling me This is a hidden policy. Walmart does not care about babies, families or the customer because if they did they would tell you the problem with deliveries and product management.
Frequently says out of stock when it is NOT. Flat of water shows out of stock. Literally just went there and wow never seen more water (see pic). Doritos out of stock. Literally just whlent there and endless doritos. They do this with everything from meat, snacks, fruits, anything you name it. And even when the website says it's in stock, suddenly it won't be on your order because the uneducated lowlife workers Walmart employs. Ultimately this is Walmart's fault because clearly they can't manage this system. Garbage!
I have been using Walmart delivery service for almost a year now. In the beginning it was great deliveries arrived on time. In June I started having problems with my deliveries. June 24 2022 I placed a order it didn't arrive, checked it later and it was canceled no notifications. They canceled my order and said I canceled it which is not true. They are constantly delayed or your delivery doesn't arrive at all. 09/23/2022 my order was to arrive between 12-1at 12:39pm received a text that my order was delayed. Contacted customer service at was told that it would arrive, and I still have not received my order, Walmart in my area closes at 11pm. So at this point I'm just done with Walmart. The service is horrible even with the subscription which I purchased for a year. Money down the drain because I definitely will not be using them for my grocery delivery period. Im sticking with instacart. Walmart needs to step up their game because I have read many reviews in regards to other customers having the similar issues.
The delivery driver went through my neighborhood that was blocked off while being resurfaced. He then went around the cone blocking my driveway to track tar on my driveway. Walmart is trying everything they can to avoid responsibility. Zero integrity from an unethical company.
I'm done. Initially, for 6 months, service was good. Last 2 months a struggle, late delivery times, poor substitutions. Could not even reach the store to complain. Have unsubscribed to Walmart services…. Very unfortunate.
I tried Walmart's grocery delivery service during a free trial run of their service. Needless to say it was terrible. My very first delivery was sent to the wrong address. Walmart would not re-ship the order that I asked them to do. Instead, they offer to give me a refund, which is fine, but there's a reason why services like Amazon are there. They're consistent and reliable. Walmart should really take a page from their book and learn how to do a proper grocery delivery service
Poor Customer Service farmed out to other countries, what do they expect?
The beginning of the problem is that when a customer visits and logs in, the address is loaded into memory so that it can be used for delivery and identification when needed. However, when an address Is changed during the same sign-in--- the programmer forgot to clear the memory location of the old address info and replace with the current info. That is how the account shows the new address, but the info sent to the delivery personnel show only old info. ( The order was placed after the sign -n and new address edit).
The balance of the errors are Walmart Policies and/or the perceived understanding of them. Along with…. An overworked and under trained management…which management has little or no business foresight.
The policies of Walmart and the software of Walmart used to be "state of the art" … now Walmart is regressing and will never catch up to companies like Amazon… in software or insightful business policies/plan. Helllo Amazon and companies like them.
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
