Very bad in online shipping!
I had this week 3 orders that i only revied partial order, especially when I'm making a store delivery, i keep on calling and chatting they always saying it wont again... its very frustrating... :(( (

With an overall rating of ONE star, you would think Walmart would be pushing to get this fixed. 7 months and still plagued with issues. Here is my breakdown:
Pros:
-Saves time going to the store, waiting in line, loading, driving, etc...

Cons: (let me crack my knuckles for this exercise)
- They forget items, add wrong items, go to the wrong house to deliver, and/or completely just don't show up; 95% of the time you can count on one of these issues happening.
- Substitutions: Every single order I place (4-5 times per month), there are subs. You have a very short window to accept/reject, or they pick one for you (never know when you are going to get notified about a substitution food item, so I am always having to watch my phone to catch the email). I don't know who picks these subs, but if I order Ricotta Cheese, please don't sub Cottage Cheese. Or if I order cold brew unsweetened coffee, don't send me regular full sugar coffee. It defeats the purpose...
- I you are planning to make a recipe, you CANNOT count on them to deliver all of your items. Just wont work. Each delivery, I get at least 3-4 items that are "out of stock". This week, I received 3 different texts, over the course of 2 days, informing me that the items I requested to be delivered will need to be shipped (ordered on Nov 29, they will be here at the earliest December 6th). So much for trying a new recipe for my kids this weekend. I have now learned my lesson - I will always need to do a quick supplemental shopping after I order with Walmart delivery to complete my cooking for the week.
* I had to laugh - no lie, just received ANOTHER text with unavailable item - no garlic bread, no substitutions available... You mean in ALL of Walmart, you have NO garlic bread at all? So now the tally is 4 items that have to be shipped, 5 substitutions, some of my order will come today (fingers crossed), and the rest will come between today and Dec 6th... Great, love having my groceries come over the course of a week.
- What drives me NUTS, is why is it in your system if you dont have it in stock? Okay, I understand that quantities may be difficult to track... but why does it take you a full day and multiple messages to tell me it is out of stock? So its a guessing game if they actually have what you are looking at online in stock.
Bottom line is, they are far from having this work as advertised.

Worst service
November 30, 2022

I ordered groceries that were supposed to be delivered between 11:00 and 12:00, then I get a notice saying they'll be delivered between 12:00 and 1:00, and I never got any groceries delivered. Trying to get a hold of someone is like pulling teeth. I tried to cancel my order, I was told that they would do that, then a driver shows up at almost 10:00 at night, while I was not home, I was working. So I called the next day to figure out what was going on since I had canceled my order, I am still waiting for them to call me back. This is the second time something like this has happened, I will not be giving it a third chance. There's not enough words to say just how disappointed I am. And I have a feeling I won't be getting my money back, and no groceries. Total rip off.

This call centre is completely useless. Ive had numerous problems with them when ordering for myself or my mom. When you need to alter an order they essentially do nothing. They wont update my phone number on my account and I cant do it myself because it needs to be validated under the old one. When an order is going to the wrong address they wont call the driver and ask you to call them (but of your number is incorrect on file, your number isnt allowed to go through to the driver). If there is a problem, they basically tell you they cant do anything and to wait until the driver wastes their time and sends it back. Then you have to call the useless call centre again (wait for 30 mins or more) and get a refund the next day. They have a lot of work to do to get staff in place for emergency order changes, ect. Not impressed.

More Like Wal-Mart MINUS

Joined Walmart plus and ordered 15 grocery items. I scheduled delivery next day on a 10am to 11am window. I didn't receive anything at all. No call/text or show. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at the store either. I called Walmart + customer care and texted with an agent but they were not helpful at all. The agent claimed an item was out of stock and the order was canceled. Highly disappointed in this lack of service. I'm canceling my Walmart + account.

3 hours late.

3 hours late, customer service doesn't know the status.
I got an email saying it was out for delivery at 11 am.
Received an update saying it was loaded on the truck at 12:55 pm.
Received an update saying the driver arrived at Walmart at 1:39 pm.
It's 1:53 pm right now and no new updates so far...

I placed an order for grocery delivery yesterday at 10 am. I received a message at 6:22 pm that it was delayed and they will let me know when the driver is on their way. I never heard anything again! Today, I requested to cancel the order from yesterday that was still pending with no notifications, and decided to attempt reordering at 10 am. The same. Exact. Thing. Happened. They do not answer their phones. The phone has been ringing for 5 minutes straight. Not to mention, they have cancelled my orders a couple times in the past with no reason why. I don't know why I even keep trying! Do not waste your time. More than upset.

Always had good experiences during the height of the Covid pandemic. Now either Walmart or the delivery service is not interested in this service anymore. They put a whole on my money and will not release it until 2-3 days. That means I do not have available funds to get the items from another store or get someone to pick it up for me. I called the 800 number and they really tired to call the store and was told that it was the third party fault. I found out the the 3rd party is owned by Walmart. This happened the day before Thanksgiving, this is Saturday(11/26/2022 and I have no groceries and no money back on my card

Free Food
November 23, 2022

First I want to say I have checked with my neighbours and no one ordered groceries. However this is third time I have had food left at my door. Not only that but large orders of 200 to 300 dollars worth. I called customer service and they said enjoy the free food and hung up. But there's some poor sap out there who is not getting what they paid for.

Horrible service

Talladega Alabama walmart delivery from store is horrible. I've never gotten my order on time, its always late or the driver cancels it cause they can't find my trailer. I'm half a football field from the road. Horrible service.

Almost Two Days - Never Received my delivery for Dinner. Ordered Monday - order to be delivered between 4-5 pm that day. Never showed. Could not get anyone to help. Kept saying to wait and wait. Next day - told again it will be delivered at 9 am. Almost 2:30 pm - no order. Completely wrecked our dinner plans and put us out. This on our first trial of the Walmart Membership Plus. Long story short, horrible customer service. Cancelled order and membership. Horrible experience!

Have used Walmart delivery for a few years, but whatever changed at Walmart has left their delivery service in a wreck. Like most others My last few orders have not arrived or has been delayed for an indefinite period of time. Customer service says all the right things but they don't deliver or follow through. Said they didn't have enough drivers, but after waiting I used Instacart from Publix an received my order in two hours. So Publix can find drivers but Walmart can't? Publix and Instacart are more pricey, but at least they get the job done. Time to switch to Kroger or Amazon

If I could leave minus stars I would. I placed an online order on November 20 for groceries to be delivered between 1-2. It got to be 3:30 and although Walmart had taken my payment and notified me of the substitutions the order had not progressed beyond that. I called customer service who transferred me to a nice lady that called the store because my order had not been assigned a driver and was told the groceries would be delivered within 1 hour. So I waited that hour and still no groceries so I called customer service again about 5 PM and was transferred to a second person who called the store after finding out there were no drivers but I could expect to get my orders between 6:30-7:30. By 8PM still no groceries so I called customer service a third time to cancel the order all together. Order was cancelled and I was told it would take up to 48 hours to be refunded. I do not have any food stamps to purchase my Thanksgiving dinner, but Wal Mart is very sorry. My questions are these:
*Why was my order allowed to be completed and payment taken if there were no drivers?
* What has happened to the customer service at Wal Mart that they would allow this situation to escalate like it did?
* Why can WalMart debit my account so quick then take 48 hours to process a refund?
* Why couldn't walk Mart customer service resolve this issue in 1 call instead of 4?

So sick of Walmart and their screw ups. If you are gonna charge my card BEFORE you make sure you have all the ordered products than you better be ready to put my money immediately back on my card when you don't have what is ordered. I shouldn't have to wait 7-10 business days for MY money. Sickening a$$ store. And don't bother calling for a manager. They apparently don't have any. With a $hit. Hence the crappy run store

If I could give 0 stars I would. They were over 6 hours late, then tried to deliver and when we weren't home 6 hours after delivery time, they cancelled the order. Twice we called during that time and were told the order was enroute. They could not believe that someone wasn't home 6 hours after the scheduled delivery to sign for the items. Btw, this order was placed 30 hours in advance of delivery.

Three Times Order Issues

This year I have had 3 orders that never arrived. Most recent was yesterday for a $200+ order. That was my food budget. Now they said it will take 10 business days to get my money back. OMG ridiculous! Never going with Wal-Mart Grocery delivery again. Unbelievable!

Order never delivered

I have made three grocery orders this week at the Burlington, NC store and none of them were ever delivered. Perhaps there are no drivers. The service is not reliable. The store did call me, after the second order failed to arrive, but nothing changed. I am very disappointed.
