Arrived at car rental site. Staff member that dealt with us was very polite but the whole process seemed to take forever. If paperwork had been printed off in advance, ready to sign, it would have taken less time. Too reliant on technology I feel. What if I was a person that did not have a smart phone? Two emails laters with my signature signed, I finally got the keys to the car. I would say about 40 mins it took. My husband and I were under pressure with time, so this slow process did not help. The driver that collected us from the airport and the driver that took us back to the airport were extremely friendly and chatty

The whole experience was quick and easy, added options were clearly explained. Staff was all helpful and polite. Car was clean and ran well. The only problem I had was figuring out where to get the shuttle from airport in Orlando to rental site. I rented thru Hopper and they didn't give clear instructions. In fact when I called them they said I had to get there on my own. Once I found the number for Green Motion they explained exactly where to go and voila, a van was there within 5 minutes

Picking up the car at Vilnuis airport was very quick, friendly and efficient staff, even gave a car upgrade. Car cleaning came at an extra cost (we decided not to clean it ourselves in the morning of departure), but price was good even with that included. Drop-off was even smoother. Good quality car. Will definitely recommend GreenMotion.

I was leary about the car rental being offsite of the airport. However, the shuttle stop is easy to find and runs 24 hours a day. It was only a ten minute ride and the wait for counter help was under ten minutes. I filled out the information in advance and my contract was ready. The clerk at the desk was very polite and explained the rental charges very thoroughly. The shuttle drivers are very courteous and helpful.

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
Answer: They are robbers and scammers, never think to rent a car from green motion, they will charge you thousands of euros, instead buy a new car
