I was hesitant to use this company as I hadn't heard of them but took a chance and was not disappointed. I got a great car with lots to choose from and no problems at all. The only issue was that my GPS didn't take me to correct place. But this is common in Italy.
Flawless experience, starting with the online booking, received car pick-up instructions, friendly staff and car conditions. Transfer from and to the airport was a useful free service.

Mit der finnischen Gelassenheit wurde uns das Fahrzeug übergeben. Das Auto war in einem tadellosen Zustand und wir konnten die Fahrten genießen, was wir auch taten. Rückgabe kein Problem, wir warfen den Schlüssel in den beschriebenen Briefkasten. Alles gestaltete sich problemlos, was wir bis dato von Autovermietungen nicht so gewohnt waren.

Rented from Green Motion as needed a rental close to Heathrow after staying a few nights in London without a car. Nice vehicle choices, new models, came straight out of the carwash so very clean.
Unlimited mileage was useful.
Best way to get there was Bolt/Uber/Taxi as public transport connections not great. After returning the vehicle, we took the airport bus from the hotel forecourt.
And when I say hotel, it is a hotel no more, but a high security asylum facility with no access to Green Motion customers! Nothing to worry about, just to be aware.

Collection from the airport to the car pick up point was fairly straight forward.

Dispite all the negatives comments I choose to rent from Green Motion and glad that I did. Gave me a great MG car, pick up was fact and so was drop off.
Location of the Heathrow rental makes it quick to get on the M4 -- no driving into the heard of Heathrow.
Only down side is the walk from office to pick up and the Hoppa bus from the airport takes a while.
But over all, great experience and i will use them again

Aluguei uma viatura peugeot 5008 por cinco dias através de um site de aluguer. Quando cheguei à Green motion fis umas alterações, subscrevi seguro total isto tudo feito em 15/20 minutos. A funcionária foi excelente, simpatica e explicou bem os termos do contrato. Na devolução tambem nao tive qualquer problema e foi extremamente rápido. Recomendo

Answer: DON'T do it. They advertise low and sting you at the counter! Clerks hard sell additional insurance (they get a commission). In Glasgow, Scotland this last August, they tried to get me to pay $800 in insurance to cover a ten day rental that was about $35 a day! Many people have posted about scams where they charged unsuspecting customers for "damages" that were already on the car but the customer may not notice, like a tiny chip in the windshield or a small scratch on the door edge.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at [email protected]. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
Answer: They are robbers and scammers, never think to rent a car from green motion, they will charge you thousands of euros, instead buy a new car
