Fed Ex messed up my delivery and by the time it arrived it was all mush. Goldbelly re-shipped at no charge to me a new order. That time it arrived perfectly.

The Muffalettas were as fresh as if we were all eating them in Central Grocery in New Orleans. They were still fresh as we all had seconds the next day. My kids who encouraged me to visit NOLA, just loved them and new nothing about Goldbelly until the food package came. They were very impressed and this will be an annual treat, every August when I visit Indiana.
I ordered this cake as birthday surprise and paid for it to be delivered on a specific date on this persons vacation. It was not delivered and had the person when home from the vacation. I had to have the cake re routed to their home town. When the cake was finally delivered it was left on the door step no one rang the door bell. The cake was melted and looked horrible. This cake cost 64.00 that's with shipping, such a disappointment for me and the recipient. I'll post a picture of the cake of how it was right after taken from the box. I do not recommend this place.

Well I placed the wrong order and when I discovered went into panic. I reached out to you and you cotrected the order (no price difference) and my recipient was delighted with their pie! Order was on time. They loved the pie, said it was delicious.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
