Good response to my pizza delivery that arrived wet and defrosted.
The web site stated that the mini bagels were a variety of different types of bagels... everything bagel, wheat, pumpernickel, etc. I purchased the "buy one get one free" mini bagels. Out of 24 bagels, there was one onion, poppy, sesame and MANY plain bagels. For the price of the bagels, the stated varieties should be included. I sent this as a gift... I was disappointed. The variety is the enjoyment.
UPS screwed up and held the order in Rutland for three days. By the time I received it the bagels were hard as a rock and the lox was very questionable.
The service people at Goldbelly responded with an offer to refund my money or reorder. I chose the reorder. I can see that the failure was at UPS and I'm grateful that Goldbelly quickly responded positively.
My friends received the food and they said the food was easy to prepare and was delicious!
Unfortunately for this order, nothing went well. Part was out of your control, but part wasn't. I of course, will still recommend you, but I'm extremely disappointed.

Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
