I bought $60 of "Heirloom tomatoes" from Eckerton Hill Farm through Goldbelly.com and most of the tomatoes were rotten and I could only use one small tomato to make a tomato sandwich. Waste of money.
A quick delivery of amazing treats and foods from around the USA. Love being able to order a cake directly from cake boss's shop! Each time I've ordered from GoldBelly I've thoroughly enjoyed it!

I ordered soup from Jerry's seafood in Maryland. Received it and all ice packs were thawed. Temperature of soup was Not cool. No dry ice in packing. Immediately put in refrigerator. Put in pan on stove as directed. Ingredients separated and would not meld. Very disappointing. Second order and second time thoroughly bummed. Doubt I'll order through them again. Tried to review on their site and there was no option. I sure saw a lot of rave reviews somehow though.
The delivery was on time and the food, as always, is outstanding. If you have a favorite food you can't get locally, check on GoldBelly because they have the best of all types of food and created by the people who are famous for making, baking, cooking the specialties you crave.
My sister sent me sandwiches from my favorite deli in NJ (at a cost of over $80!) I was home at the time but the delivery person did not bother to ring the doorbell. I was unaware of the delivery and only noticed the package when I went out for the evening. From the condition of the package it was clear it had sat out in the hot Florida sun for hours.
Bought 200 oysters for $300, what a waste of $300 good dollars. The oysters were small quarter sized and hardly worth the effort to open and eat. The oysters had almost no flavor. I got several handfuls of oysters for the money, total rip off...
Never again will I buy from this company!

The food is excellent however... We were given different menus amongest the group of 5 which cause initial confusion. Although the service and delivery was good. We ordered the sandwiches, cheesecake and pizza and we are were really impressed.
Really friendly staff and they delivered on time. I ordered 100pcs oyster, biscuits for baking for my friend family get together, When I baked its so soft and fresh... Affordable price and they take ordered very friendly. Will definitely calls you again next time...
Great place for pizza, we ordered for dinner and were really impressed with the great service from the staff.The pizza was fantastic, we'll definitely be back, bit of a wait for the food but to be expected on a busy Friday evening.

So I was beyond thrilled when I found out I could order them from Goldbelly.
Imagine my dismay when they arrived & tasted awful. Nothing like the fresh ones I'd had before.
I threw them in the garbage & wrote to Goldbelly to tell them about how awful they were.
They responded by asking for photos (they'd looked normal or I wouldn't have tasted them). I was not going to paw through the garbage in freezing temperatures to photograph them.
They also offered me $15 off my next order.

I ordered a mincemeat pie from Golbelly and was concerned about when it would arrive, as I needed it for a party I was having on December 2,2018. I contacted the company and was told that I could pick the delivery date, which I did (November 30). The 30th came and went with no pie and so did December 1. So I googled 'Track my order' and to my horror I discovered that for a delivery date of November 30, the shipping date listed was DECEMBER 4! Apparently the staff at Goldbelly do not know that December comes AFTER November!
Ordered birthday gift for out of state relative. Order never shipped, tracking was not updated and I was not notified (e-mail or otherwise) of the delay. Finally received response from customer service. The only suggestion was to either cancel or re-order for delivery the following week. Had I been aware my order never left the building, I would have made other gift arrangements. No concern or compassion shown by Goldbely staff. The offer of a $15 coupon to be used by Jan. 31st was declined by me. I don't plan on ordering from them again
I recently ordered three muffulettas from Central Grocery in New Orleans as a birthday gift to my son (and his family). The shipment arrived on time and in excellent shape. I have no complaints but I do have lots of praise.
Ordered ricotta cheesecake ($160 bucks worth) for Thanksgiving... ordered well within the guidelines... the product was a no show for Thanksgiving... the cheesecake turned to saw dust as it sat for two days in some FedEx facility without refrigeration... it arrived late Friday, two days late and left out in the rain... customer care was missing in action and frankly incompetent... this is a VC backed company... note to BOD: Mark it zero.
Their products look interesting and Danny Meyer invested a small fortune in them. I hope he can afford the loss. These people are clueless about the items they're getting from other suppliers, way over-priced and their customer service is non-existent. I received sloppily decorated Halloween Oreos and Halloween Cookie Do with incomplete baking instructions and no labeling of flavors on the containers. These two items cost me 110 dollars, and that was after applying a 15 dollar discount. I don't wonder that there is no place for product review on their site. They are pretentious as well.
I ordered Ginos East Chicago style pizza from Goldbely for a pizza party 2 weeks in advance of said party.
When the pizzas did not come 4 days before the party(and a week after they promised me delivery) I called and was told they would be delivered the next day
When they did not show up I called they next day and was told they would be delivered the following day.
They never showed up and I had to order Pizza Hut for my party
When I called after the weekend they told me they were never shipped! WOW
They offered to wave the delivery charge HORRIBLE service and NO customer service what so ever
I can never use them again!

As our team explained over the phone and via email, there were issues with Gino's standard delivery schedule due to the 4th of July falling on a Wednesday this year. We're sorry for any confusion that resulted while providing some insight into what exactly went on, however as our reps have already informed you, we did fully refund your order and provide you with a credit. We also did offer to expedite the order to you while refunding your shipping charges entirely on the order. I'm sorry we weren't able to rectify this situation to your satisfaction, but I do truly hope that you'll give us another chance in the future.
I was unaware of the policy surrounding refunds and/or exchanges and that Goldbely decides on a 'case by case basis' in the handling of orders that arrive damaged or not still cold. My most recent order arrived in poor shape due to the dry ice escaping from the unsealed plastic bags. I ordered seafood and dairy so I was not going to take a chance and serve the items delivered. I contacted Goldbely in short order and was surprised to find that even though orders are done on a 24/7 basis, their customer care department is only available Monday thru Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Once Goldbely reached out three days later, I was given a satisfactory resolution in that they would resend another order of the ruined products that I received. However, going forward I will be more cautious in what I order for fear that I may be stuck with spoiled products and not given a remedy.

You are correct that our customer service phone number is only Monday - Friday, however we do offer online email support on Saturday as well. There are no refunds or exchanges as we only ship perishable food, however we always make sure our customers only have the best experience and will always reship or refund if an order doesn't arrive in perfect condition. Answer: They aren't necessarily a scam, but very poor customer service policies. If anything goes wrong with your order, like it did with mine, they just blocked me from their Facebook page so I couldn't leave a review. It's just luck if your order arrives and looks as you would expect and if it doesn't you are out of luck. Just contact local bakeries or restaurants and have them deliver for you, no reason to pay Goldbelly and have a third party who cares nothing about your order throw it around in the back of their truck and deliver it trashed. Goldbelly is unscrupulous and a big risk of wasted money.
