I recently started a GoFundMe campaign to "Help John Brennon Fight Back." Although there was little interest in the campaign the GoFundMe customer service staff did everything possible to assist me with ideas on how to promote the campaign to the widest audience. When I decided that the interest just wasn't there they assisted me in expeditiously refunding the contributions I did receive, in full, to the original donors. I have nothing but good things to say about my GoFundMe experience.
I was having great difficulty inputting my contacts into the Email system. After about 5 attempts I contacted Customer Service and Brittany tried to explain to me how to do so; I went online and after 3 more attempts, found that adding my contacts to an email couldn't be done. Brittany; went online... found an error in the program and corrected it, and contacted me accordingly. All done!
Lauren responded in a timely matter. Followed up with me. Offered different solutions and followed through until my issue was resolved
Great customer care every concern and need. Was met at the time of need. I'm thankful to know there is a site. Like this to help those stuck in need and help.
The people in the "Customer Happiness Team" are so kind and helpful. The person I dealt with, or who helped me, was Niall. Professional, kind, thoughful... the type of person you can only hope for when you need someone to listen.

I impulsively left a comment on someone's gofundme which I later regretted, but when I went to remove it I found that there was no way for me to edit my own comment! I was a little upset and there was nothing in FAQ about how to do it. I emailed them and someone got back to me within the hour. They found the site and removed my comment for me.It took less than 2 hours. Good job guys! (However, I think that should be changed so that a person can edit their own comments :) )
I just tried creating a campaign for a very worthy cause. However, after a few days no one donated to the fund. When I tried to donate myself, I had much difficulty. I ultimately decided to end my campaign after just a few days. The staff were really helpful and quick to answer my concerns. Although my campaign was not successful, I would gladly try it again just because I know I will get the help from the people at GoFundMe! Awesome concept... however I think it only works at times when the news is relevant.
I was setting up a Go Fund Me for a friend which went fairly well until...
Thought I'd ended up wasting my hours and work until I wrote customer service.
Had a reply back within 20 minutes that was complete, answered everything I needed to know, told me the next steps so that I could preclude any further issues and provided me with the best customer service experience I'd had in a long while. And to top it off the representative was gracious and kind!
I contacted gofundme in regard to a project I am involved with and while the company potentially could have helped me, they were honest in their assessment that perhaps they weren't the best option for this particular project and even offered up alternatives. While I was unable to use their service this time, they will be the first company I go to in the future because you don't usually get that kind of honesty these days.
You have to make the 1st step to make your goal. It not only encouraging, but promising as well. Sometimes you have to just reach out with faith. It can be rewarding.
They were very understanding and helped me with what i was having issues with. I will be using them alot but the only thing i am having problems with is raising money that i really need
A person who donated to our former campaign to try and raise the needed funds, asked about her refund, so I messaged Gofundme and they replied very quickly and knew what I was talking about and help the person out quickly. Keep up the great work.
This is my first effort at creating a "GoFundMe" page and I appreciate the guidance I have received. Looking forward to donations for a great cause!
I found that GoFundMe was very good and more importantly, the help me workers were able to reassure me and tell me how to get me funds. Very caring people there.
I had a problem that was my own fault which they remedied in 5 minutes with friendly email communication.
Even though I had to remove a compaign due to the recipient changing their mind, the customer representative at GOFUNDME was extremely helpful and friendly.

My experience with GoFundMe was fantastic. Although I was raising donations for a friend of mine, I could not have been happier with the results that were received. It almost didn't seem real to me until I had heard confirmation that all donations had been withdrawn and were being put to great use. I'm truly so happy and will definitely recommend GoFundMe yo anyone who asks!
I contacted customer service to refund my money for a campaign that changed after I funded it. I anticipated it was going to be a long and inconvenient process to get my money back. The online support team was prompt and thorough in processing my request. I am very pleased, thank you!
A donor to our campaign mistakenly did not notice the automatic 'tip' Go Fund Me uses to fund itself resulting in an extra unintentional $90 fee on their generous $600 donation. I wrote Go Fund Me customer service and they IMMEDIATELY rectified this and reimbursed the donors money. This was wonderful and impressed me deeply!
