12 weeks ago I purchased a dishwasher. I received two communications. One was an auto purchase email, the second was in response to my request for some follow-up communication about my order. They said it could take up to 12-weeks. During that time, not once did they send me an update of any kind. Like sorry, this is taking so long, we are in communications with the manufacturer. Or, sorry, due to covid we are experiencing delays, we will continue to monitor and keep you updated. Or, how about this one, it looks like 12 weeks have passed and we apologize for not delivering your products as we said we would. I am getting a refund and spreading the word as much as I can to NOT buy from this company, they obviously do not know how to do what they are promising they can do: sell online and ship you the product you ordered and keep you up to date along the way.
Ordered sofa 10/28/2020. Understood that it would be over 4 weeks before delivery. At 4 weeks (11/24/20) called for status. One hold 53 minutes. Was told it is estimated at 2 more weeks, which is now. On 11/24/20 the website indicated that more were arriving in the warehouse between 11/28 and 12/2. Obviously, I did not benefit from that restock as I have not received my sofa. I tried to call customer service but was on hold for precisely two hours without anyone responding. The website now indicates that stock will be back in on 1/20/2021. 6 weeks is not acceptable, 90 days is certainly not acceptable. There is was nothing to indicate they were out or low on stock when I purchased. Avoid this company at all costs. Impossible to speak with someone. Had to file a claim with PayPal.
I ordered a Bosch dishwasher in late July and was told delivery would be within two weeks. When no delivery materialized, I called customer service and was put on hold for 45 minutes. I then tried to reach them by email and was again told the dishwasher would be delivered within two weeks. This went on until mid September when I get an email from a trucking company to arrange delivery of the dishwasher. Only they had my street address with a different city and state and told me they could not make changes to the delivery and I had to do it through Goedeker's. So I again tried to reach them by phone with no success and finally got an answer by email in which they said the dishwasher has not shipped but to expect it within two weeks. They also claimed to have no knowledge of the trucking company even though the trucking company had Goedeker's name and address and the order number. I waited another two weeks and then contacted them to cancel my order. This time they tell me I cannot cancel the order as it has already shipped. It is now mid October and still no dishwasher. I then contact American Express to file a claim. Goedeker's never responds to American Express. American Express refunds my money in early November and I purchased the same dishwasher from another company and it was delivered and installed in a week.
The worst. Worse than Appliance Connection which Goedekers purchase. Kept calling and e-mailng them about "where is my dishwasher?", for 2 months, they kept lying and saying it came directly from Bosch. Yet, after weeks of trying to get tracking info I finally found out dishwasher was still in their warehouse. Then tried and tried to get my money back, no luck. Finally PayPal got it back in less than 24 hours. Shop local, unless you live in St. Louis.
We ordered a $174 Verona Shelf Glide on March 23rd. They said it shipped on 4/24, but it wasn't in the shipment. We called and they said they would check on it and get back to us. In May we called and they said the same. Then the customer Service line began having 30 minute wait times, so we switched to email. On 6/8,7/14,8/5,9/27 & 10/5 different people responded that "they would check on it and get back to us", but never did. On 10/23 we asked for a refund, but have had no response. Sent another email today. Also filed a complaint with the FTC and BBB. Not sure what these folks are up to, but it's not right to steal from us.
Worst experience and I shop on-line for almost everything! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They charged me for their product immediately when ordered and 5 months later when I still have not received my order, they WILL NOT REFUND. Read all reviews as I wish I had prior to ordering from them
I called and tried to place an order over the phone; asked for haulaway of old fridge and was told that it was not available for my zip code, so I didn't complete the order. I then tried to place the order online including haulaway and placed the order with no problems, including financing options. I called them back and was told that if it went through then it should be ok, maybe the person I talked to first had a typo in his info. I didn't wait at all either time I called, got a person right away. Reading the reviews here it looks like the complaints really dropped late this summer, so I am hopeful their issues were corrected. I wasn't given a firm ship date but that doesn't surprise me -- I've been to all of the big-box stores and a few small local vendors and no one can give a firm date for refrigerators due to Covid 19, quarantines, closed plants, etc etc etc. If we have to wait, at least I got a much better price -- almost $300 less than anyone else!
I have never received such bad, disingenuous and misleading customer service! I placed an order over the phone on 9/21 and was told it would ship by 9/29. That is why I placed the order, and in fact cancelled an order I had already placed from another shop that was lower in price but was not going to ship until later. When the item did not ship by 9/29, I called customer service. I was told his website now said the item was going to ship mid-October, but that he would check with the manufacturer. When I explained that I had expressly placed this order - at a higher price and paid for white glove shipping - he said he would have a manager call me back. One week later and nobody had called me back, and the item still hadn't shipped. I called again and talked to a representative who was apologetic and said she would look into it and promised to call me back or email me by the end of the day. Nothing. The next day, I called and spoke to the first male representative again (who said he remembered me, but didn't apologize for the lack of follow through). Once again, he said he would put in a request for a manager to call me. Once again, nobody followed up. It had now been three weeks and the order still hasn't shipped, and on at least three occasions I was promised follow up and received nothing.
I ordered a washer and dryer set in Aug with a promised install date of 9/1.9/2 I called and they said they had a part back ordered. I've called multiple times since then (now Oct) and was told last week they shipped and should have installed this week. I word from them and I can't reach them - super long hold times on phone and slow response via email. 5e sales guy was very responsive on sales but has now ignored all other contact. Worse service for a company - don't know how they stay in business. I should've cancelled earlier. Buyer beware.
I ordered a bed in July and nearly 3 months later it has not arrived yet. When I ordered they gave delivery date in early August. I called in August and was told early September. I called in September and was told it was in warehouse in NJ and being loaded on truck and would receive in 10 - 14 days. Still no bed! I have never received courtesy call or email to say there was delay yet they took my payment when I placed the order. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed!
I placed an order for a table Aug 7 was told to allow 4 weeks. 4 weeks went by I called they told me because of covid they would ship it out Sept 21. Today I called now it's on back order Till Oct 25. I requested a refund back 400.00. Overstock does price match which I wasn't a where of. I placed an order for same table. They guaranteed it would be shipped out tomorrow. To allow 5-7 days. I felt like I was getting the run around here.

They will take your money, then lie about status of your order over and over, and you can wait weeks and weeks and weeks and they never reach out to offer any information about your order. And when you call them, you will be put on hold and have to hang on for upwards of 45 minutes at a minimum, then you will get a person who is useless and cannot help you anyway. My order was placed in July 2020 and all I can find out is that it "is in transit" but no one can tell me where or when we can ever expect to receive it. If you speak to a manager at this company, they do not express an ounce of concern over your dissatisfaction and also do nothing to help. Make your purchase someplace else. There are plenty of reputable internet companies. This is not one of them!
After I wrote the negative review I noticed their website says to contact Mr. Goedeker if there is a problem. I did contact him and he did immediately solve my problem. He gave me full credit, arranged for return shipping, and sent me an appropriate model.
I ordered a Bosch dishwasher from Goedekers which their website clearly labels as not ADA Compliant. Received dishwasher and noticed that it is smaller than a typical dishwasher. Called Bosch and was told this is an ADA compliant dishwasher and has less capacity than a non-ADA compliant model. I emailed Bosch documentation to Goedekers pointing out their website error and had follow up phone calls but they only tell me that I received the dishwasher that I ordered. They will not acknowledge their error and now I'm stuck with a small, expensive dishwasher.
As with many, a very bad experience. Not checking earlier for any reviews is my problem. I ordered an icemaker in May and have had to email and call constantly to get any kind of status. It's September and still no clear idea of when it will arrive. The only hopeful status update was in my online order that the item was finally at Goedeker's and was finally awaiting shipping. 2 weeks later, no update so I called once again. They said item was damaged and so another had to be ordered which would take another 3 weeks. I would recommend being very aware of what you are considering when ordering from Goedeker's. The prices are attractive and they continue to run deals but it all does not matter if you have to fight to get your product.
As of this writing, I have been caught in a 4 month struggle with Goedekers to ship the items I purchased, or refund my money. They have been holding the money and keep saying the items are out for shippingC but I later find that the items are back ordered or being held. I have received only one of the 5 appliances I purchased. After 3 months I tried to cancel the remaining 4 items was only refunded for two of the items after hours on the phone and a dozen emails. They are currently holding two items for which I am not being refunded and which have not shipped, and to date I have spent dozens of hours on the phone, and much time writing emails and chasing them. Their communication is frustrating as they seem friendly and competent when I get them on the phone, but I am given no answers, they don't follow up, and I have to restart my inquiry with every call or email. My wife and I are expecting and need the appliances we purchased, or we need the money back so we can purchase them elsewhere. In addition, it's worth noting that their pricing practices are misleading, and the "65% off Sale" advertising gets you basically the same prices as the big box stores. Never again, and I would recommend you steer clear of these people. I don't know how much it will cost me to take them to court for the $2000, so they've got me. Stay away!
In mid-April 2020 I ordered a freezer from Goedeker's. It is now the end of August 2020 and I still have nothing to show for my order.
In other words, they advertised an item they did not have, and accepted payment for an item they could not deliver.
I will never use their service again, not will any of my friends.
We ordered an Electric double oven range in July 31,2020 they said delivery should be August 21,2020.
The day came and we hadn't heard from them so I called and was told they had been informed the previous weekend that the model was discontinued.
So I asked what they had in stock and ordered a range that they had 5 of in stock.
I was told delivery should be soon. Fast forward to today August 24,2020.
I called the store asked when my range will be delivered. They said that my fire Pit had already been delivered. I said I didn't order a fire pit. They immediately transferred me to someone else that said I had the wrong order number. So she gives me the right order number finds my order. I ask when will I get my Range?
She said she had no idea!
So I'm pretty much screwed! They already have my money and they can deliver it Whenever!

Ordered from Goedekers May 21,2020. I didn't not receive my items until June 26 2020. The stove top I received was not the right size. I requested a return on 7/2/2020. Countless phone calls just to receive a return address for them and I finally received one on 7/24. Item received by their receiving department on 7/28. It is not 8/17/2020 and I still have yet to receive this refund! BAD BAD BAD COMPANY! Should be reported to the BBB
The first thing I did before ordering from goedekers was to confirm the availability of my item. Was assured there was plenty in the warehouse and to expect delivery in approximately 2 weeks. A week later I'm notified they do not have anything in stock and due to the pandemic they will not anytime soon. I was conned into handing over my money when they knew they would not be able to produce the item. Customer service really couldn't care less and I was offered a different item that's shown for over $1,000.00 more than my original item. Talk about a bait and switch. Sitting here in a heat wave with no refrigerator. I guess they figure once they get your money they have you. NOT WORTH THE SAVINGS IF YOU HAVE TO GO WEEKS AND OR MONTHS WITHOUT YOUR APPLIANCE...
Ordered dishwasher on 27 June. E-mail from 21 July said I should have dishwasheer by 28 July -- still 2 weeks later than told when purchased. Still not delivered on 30 July. Multiple phone calls and e-mails to customer service with not one reply. Last time I buy from these clowns. I may even cancel this order and buy again from a reputable company.
