I purchased an appliance in April. I selected an item that was in stock - but it actually was not. 3 months later I still don't have the product, and all I hear from Goedker's is "due to circumstances beyond our control"... They have not been able to provide any information that would provide me with any insights on when I might expect the product.

Purchased a GE Cafe cooktop in November. Goedeckers set delivery for 60 days. When the day came, they sent email stating product unavailable and no info for a new date from GE. Called them and they quoted me a new date, 60 days out. Same thing happened again. And again. So now the deliv date is 11 months from purchase. Called GE and they are NOT backordered on the cooktop. Have been delivering all along. So cancelled the order and purchased for same price from another supplier. Very frustrating that they gave false info and strung me along for 9 months. Never will purchase from them again.

I purchased a Whirlpool Refrigerator in November, 2020, to be shipped in January 2021. That was cancelled and rescheduled for February, that was cancelled and rescheduled for March. Finally got notification that it was sent from their warehouse to North Carolina, the day it was to arrive, it was cancelled. It's now June 2021 and we've gone through six or more notifications followed by cancellations. We've spoken with Goedeker's people three times and it's the same blame it on COVID. Meanwhile they took the money for the full amount when we initially purchased the refrigerator. We have been patient, but my perception is that we paid a much lower price than what they can get for one now. They will not tell us where we are on the list or how many others are in front of us. If they can not supply the appliance they should not accept or cash any for payments. As of todays date 6/23/2021 they have had the full price of the refrigerator in their corporate for eight months... More to come...

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT SHOPPING HERE. I consider myself a reasonable person, and believe I have been generous, kind, and nice to Goedeker's despite the absolute terror they have given us... our experience with Goedekers has been absolute trash. We ordered a full suite of appliances in November of 2020, including a Washer, Dryer, Refrigerator, Range, Microwave, and Dishwasher. We were told that many of our appliances would be delivered by early January 2021. We are now halfway through June 2021, with NO APPLIANCES. We have called every week for months. Asking. Begging. Pleading for updates. We are always given the answer that the appliances are coming, and soon. We have tried to replace those appliances with others, but Goedeker's isn't really willing to help find ones that would be adequate replacements. We have been lied to repeatedly. I have called asking for any help to understand why we have been given so many false dates of when our appliances will arrive. My last call was to talk to a manager, and in typical Goedeker's fashion, like many of our calls, they have not called us back like they promised.

If you like a company taking your money for months, without any concrete answers, with terrible customer service, and delays in providing your appliances for more than 8 months, than please, please shop at Goedeker's. For any other sane individual, go LITERALLY anywhere else.

I ordered a microwave from Goedeker's in February. Due to the chip shortage I wasn't able to find one locally, Texas, and ordered it through them. There was no information that it would be delayed and said the expected ship time would be 7-14 days. Three weeks passed, I never heard from anyone with the store and I called several times over the next 2 1/2 months. I finally received my microwave in early May and unfortunately it was broken. Looked just fine on the outside but perhaps due to the fact that it had obviously been jostled around on the trip here, box was severely broken with styrofoam sticking out and broken as well, along with the fact that it had been left in the middle of my driveway, it just wouldn't power on. I tried repeatedly to get some information about how to mail it back for a refund. Two weeks later, Megan was helpful and let me know that I could send it back at my expense, $266, and would be able to expect a refund on return. I was notified last Wednesday, May 23, that my microwave has been received at their warehouse, yet it still shows waiting for return on my status. I just called to speak with someone about my situation and he hung up on me. I'm very frustrated and disappointed with this experience and will NEVER shop with Goedeker's again. I'll just wait until a local outlet has a microwave.

Terrible service

Terrible service. Good luck getting them on the phone... they cite covid as an excuse not to answer their customer service lines. I ordered a product they said was in stock and would ship out in a week. Nearly two months later I get an email saying the product is backordered. I am unable to get a refund or get them on the phone. Terrible

I have called multiple times to the company service staff. Lots of promises and no follow through.
First thing, taxes charged twice - both at the line level and on the total. I called them about it and they said they would get back to me. After a month, an email saying sorry for the delay we'll get back to you and another week and nothing.
Second, I ordered and paid up front on 4/2/2021. I was told Deliver to warehouse on 5/19/2021 and delivery to use within 2 days. We are now past that window. On my account it says delivered to warehouse. When I called to ask delivery date, I was told it is not in the warehouse and maybe they will be in stock June 4. This is holding up our Certificate of occupancy required to move into our new house, because the gas company can not inspect for leaks with no stove.

I had the same experience as everyone real here... ordered a product... got billed... then was told it was on backorder... always getting the runaround... had to go through the credit card company for a chargeback. This site is paid by Goedekers to give them control of the reviews... so this review will likely never show up... or at least gets drowned out by 22k fake reviews that are 5 stars for great customer service. Shame on Google as well for including Sitejabber in review search results.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE

We ordered a bed on September 10th, 2020. We have received no updates in over a month for our product. I have reached out over 15 times the past week and customer service has simply given up on me. This is the worst company I have personally ever dealt with. They charge upfront and do not offer support or resolve your issues. Take your business elsewhere. I am out $1,000 that was stolen from me by this company. Run as fast as you can away.

Small 4.6 Cu fridge arrived with 6 inch hairline scratch. Fridge also had cheap plastic plugs which were impossible to remove and dissolved while trying to pry out when swrichting fridge handle from right to left opening. Contacted Goedecker's same day as delivery day and waited weeks for a response. That response is we haven't forgotten about you yet waiting to hear back from the Manufacturer (SUMMIT Appliance). Finally heard back after a month with a sentence thanking my for my patience and to use a drill bit to remove plastic plugs. Unbelievable! Nothing about Goedecker's was pleasant or positive other than their call center isn't outsourced to Asia. Even if it costs more and doesn't offer free shipping, AVOD THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. Pay more and do in store pickup or at least buy from the big box stores as they ALWYAS have a great return policy and customer service is much quicker at getting things resolved. AND NO, THERE IS NO PANDEMIC TO BLAME HERE, JUST INCOMPETENCE AND LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

I ordered a wine refrigerator that was supposed to be in stock and was my credit card was charged $1,240.37 right away. I got an order confirmation but no other information. 3 weeks later, I sent numerous emails with no response. Then I called and was on hold for an hour and 20 minutes - no answer. Finally after going on a chat and waiting over 5 minutes between every response I got a comment that it is back ordered and they have no clue when it will come. They can't call the manufacturer to find out an approximate date. Trying to cancel after they floated on my money for a month and I am a month out with no information. First negative review I have written in 5 years.

I ordered a kitchen set from Goedekers in October of 2020, the 16th to be exact. Today is February 26th and I'm still waiting on the appliances. 3 weeks ago the delivery team calls me and says "are you home, we are coming now to drop off your appliances." No scheduling, no call ahead, just called on their way. The next time I got an email, they canceled due to snow. The next time, they got to my city and then turned around because the driver "couldn't make up the street." Finally on the 4th attempt, I come home from work, I meet the delivery team at my house, come to find they only have 3 out of 5 appliances.

Just now i got off the phone with customer support. The guy tells me that my stove isn't coming until APRIL and that the refrigerator has no ship date as of today! We are headed into month 5 with no signs of appliances coming. I will never do business with this company again and would strongly advise anyone reading this to do the same.

For what its worth, the appliances were all KitchenAid... Just north of $7000. 00. Never again

I don't typically write reviews, but the customer service was so poor I had to write. If I write every bit of my experience you won't read it. Basically, just remember that this place will not deliver when they say: they will not return calls: you will be on hold for more than 30 minutes before anyone speaks to you and then they get "disconnected" several times so you have to call back. The prices aren't that great and the service makes you want to run. I had to cancel my order for appliances after THREE MONTHS of waiting and lies! You have been warned!

My item has not came yet

I ordered a $10K fridge back in the beginning of October 2020. I have yet to receive it and they never call back or address my concerns. It was originally supposed to arrive on December 12, but the day came and went and no word. Now it is February 17 2021 and still cant get a call back or for anyone to just help me. They never respond on their chat box either. I wish I would have read the reviews prior!

I placed and order in late December 2020. I called 3 weeks later and was told they could not get the items until late March 2021. They offered to check the warehouse to see what was in stock. I settled on two additional item. The sales lady Annette canceled the original order but could not figure out how to transfer the financing over to the new order. She was going to check on it and get back to me. She never called back. I called her and she had no I dea who I was. The items I wanted as replacements were now gone but she had items that were twice the price that she could get me! BAIT & SWITCH! Thieves!

Poor Customer Service

Purchased 4 Kitchen appliances. All items purchased were already on back-order and not available in the time frame given. Salesperson should have advised that items were on known back order so other choices could be made if desired. Once purchase is made, store where purchased from no longer available to discuss issues, must go through Goedeker's Customer Service department. Numerous failed call backs, 1.5-2 hours on hold to speak to someone.

Poor Customer Service

Saw good reviews before ordering a Lane recliner from Goedeker's. Ordered OCt. 30 and here it is Dec. 18,2020... no chair and have had very limit communication from them on this back order. It took a week before I got a call back from a manager in Customer Service. Getting through to CS by phone..."please hold, your hold time is 91 minutes." or 1 minute, or again 65 minutes... nobody picked up in one minute either. Asked to be called back when it was my turn... forget that, never happened. Got a call from a manager this afternoon (Friday) just to tell me it's back order, we are sorry, warehouse/factory behind in orders... they don; t have parts from China or S. Korea. (Lane Furniture is in NC -I think it's a remote location, not running water, electricity, or phones there). I can understand back order, but poor communication skills and customer support issues are neglected at this furniture store. Lots of lip service... they sure like to cash in on the credit card before the item even ships. Not sure they even have a store in St. Louis area. They hide behind "we are sorry. It's the virus"... they must wear Teflon clothes left over from Clinton. I cancelled order after talking with manager. No clue when the chair would be ready to ship or if it would. Go elsewhere. I see I am not alone in this poor communication bubble they have created for themselves.
