My 16 year old daughter saved up money from her first job and decided to order shoes from this pathetic site. She ordered boys sizes rather than girls. She paid to return them and then they claimed the shoes had a scuff on them and they would not give her a girls size or her money back. Total freaking scam site. No responses from their support team nothing. If I could give 0 stars I would. These people are the scum of the earth and should be shut down. $120 down the drain.
Since my initial review they have refunded my daughter her money. Don't know if the review helped or if it was my persistence in my emails to them but she finally received her refund 6 weeks later. With that being said I've adjusted my initial review to 3 stars and want to thank them for making things right.
Scam! I paid $200 plus $14 shipping for Nikes that were supposed to be new. I returned/shipped them back the very next day and they refused to return or exchange them. I then had to pay shipping again just for them to send them back to me because they wouldn't refund or return. Scam!
Literally the WORST experience I have ever had. A root canal is more pleasant than dealing with this scam of a company. I ordered shoes for my son for Christmas, he tried them on and they were too small. I read the return policy, understood it was 3 days but what was the harm in asking since all I wanted to do was move up a size. I was told I could, sent a return label, sent the shoes and was told A WEEK later that the shoes weren't received in the same condition saying my son must have stepped in brick and mortar and that I could not return them. I asked for pictures of what the shoes looked like when they first sent them to me and they refused. I chose to have the shoes sent back to me and instead of honoring the $14.95 that they say it will cost, they are trying to charge me an additional $60 for taxes on something I OWN! Literally would rather have multiple root canals with no novocaine than to ever deal with GOAT again.
Ordered a pair of shoes they arrived at the inspection site, information was relayed quickly shoes were not to up their standards, they found a replacement pair (which were perfect)
Then I get an email saying $140.00 for brokerage and shipping from the freight company
And now the run around begins, I sent in a request for refund for the shipping as their website states they will find the right shoes at no extra cost or offer a refund.
If when I ordered the shoes IF it had listed the brokerage and shipping fees on top of the regular shipping
I would not have an issue now.
Sent in my request Dec28th, waited 3-4 days was asked to resubmit and I have yet to hear back.
After sales support is really poor, and I would expect that if it does not say brokerage and shipping in your final total I would be prepared for it to still be expected
I bought a paid of Nike shoes for my daughter for Christmas. They arrived and were too big, men size. She resold them on GOAT website. Returned them to GOAT for them to authenticated. We never heard anything. My daughter reached out to GOAT Customer Support. She was told that the box was damaged. That box was NOT damaged and was returned in the same shape we received them. My daughter has pictures of the box before she shipped it. They claim the buyer doesn't want the shoes now that the box is damaged. I call BS! They are shipping them back to us. I can't wait to the this damaged box! I don't understand why GOAT hasn't been shut down. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. All these reviews, why are they still allowed to be in business. They making money from keeping customer money! You know what they say about KARMA.
I only used this website as someone mentioned to me but I have realized that I should have gone with one of their competitors. I purchased two pairs of shoes as gifts for people, for Christmas and a birthday. The shoes ended up being the wrong size so I tried to exchange them and it has been impossible to do so. Even though I informed them less than a week after receiving the goods, they won't allow the exchange.
I think it is comical how they say that "Goat is the perfect gift-giving destination" as it has none of the characteristics of a good, let alone the perfect gift-giving anything. The fact that their return policy is 3 days is astonishing. When you purchase a gift for someone, you try to purchase it ahead of time so that you don't get stuck without a gift on the special day due to unforeseen circumstances. So how are you meant to time the delivery (which you cant control as a purchaser) with the date of the birthday or event, while still being within your ridiculous return time period. Even if you just receive the gift and try to find time to meet up with someone, what are the odds that you will be able to meet up with them, get them to try it on and find the correct size within 3 days of receiving the product? What with work and family and general life, that is not only unlikely, it is practically impossible.
It seems as though the company doesn't want to make the exchange process easy as you stand to make more money without exchanges and returns. They say you are this perfect service when their return policy is well below industry standards, touting that the client can recoup their money by selling it on your platform. Not mentioning that the clients have to then sell the goods at a price that's far above market value to make up the money they spent on their purchase (with Goat's fees).
Just go somewhere else!
Two shoes have been lost and goat specifically told me they received them and now supposed there Lost again SMH.
I purchased a pair of shoes as a Christmas present for a relative. The shoes were too small (my fault), so I tried to return and exchange them for the right size. With most companies, a simple exchange would be no big deal. But with GOAT it was like getting 3 root canals without novocain. This company goes out of its way to make sure a customer cannot get an exchange or refund and sets up obstacle after obstacle to ensure a return does not occur. In the end, and after much time spent working with customer service (I use that phrase loosely), I was able to return the shoes. But GOAT kept 50% of the purchase price, essentially charging a $30 restocking/return fee for a pair of shoes. I would avoid this company like the plague. They are a scam group.

Bought two pairs of shoes from them and returned one. UPS lost the return, fully admits to doing so and said GOAT as the shipper would have to file the claim. GOAT REFUSES TO FILE. Either GOAT are liars or lazy, but they will not refund for the shoes that UPS lost. Dozens of emails and calls. I WOULD NEVER BUY FROM GOAT AGAIN!
They have sent me the completely wrong trainer for christmas. When I sent pictures of the trainer I received and what I ordered they have said it was down to the courier. What a complete sham. NEVER BUY FROM THEM!
I bought these shoes thought they were a deal. I don't know what these are. Bought them for an outfit, but changed what I was wearing at the last minute. Fast forward a year later get the shoes out and surprise they fake. Got all the certification from goat they real. Don't waste your money it's a rip off
I would give zero stars if I could. The first order showed the right shoes as did the order confirmation. But the shipping email showed different shoes. Received the wrong shoes. In my haste to reorder for Xmas, I accidentally ordered men's size. Cancelled within 17 minutes and ordered correct pair. The auto email says they check all emails within a short time. Got email next day saying they were already shipped. Took me approx 3 weeks to get return labels and packing slips. Had problems with attaching pictures as separate attachments to email due to new iPhone camera settings. Never had to send photos of anything I've returned but they won't give you the packing slips or return labels without them. Needed 4 photos for each return. Then after they've said they would credit the card I used at the time of purchase, the return label email said that it would not be credited back to my card but as a store credit. This is a tactic to keep your money and never having to pay money back. I'm losing some $400. Now after they say less shipping, I've also read that it is also less taxes. What the f…. This is an awful company and I will never buy from them again. No one should buy from them. Find what you want elsewhere. Also their not having a phone # is Aldo a tactic to make the company look good. They never return money so their bottom line looks good at the cost of the consumer. It's deceitful. Bad, bad, bad company!
I got my dad the wrong size shoes for Christmas. The 25th I emailed them about it, didn't hear anything until the 29th. I finally get all of my information and have my emails bounced back twice. I finally get all my info to them only to find out, guess what? Their holiday return extension ended the 30th! Now I can't even exchange them for the right size and have to try to sell the shoes through them! I don't even want my money back!? I just want to exchange an 11 to and 11.5 and I'd even pay the difference. Buy somewhere else.

I should've just went to a bar, ordered two martinis with a friend, and perused cool sneakers instead of wasting hours trying to figure out the platform, looking for customer service, posting my sneakers for no reason at all. My word of advice to the Goat team, if you're going to be a premium merchandise store:
(1) don't overcomplicate digital experiences (2) listen to your customers, and (3) provide some semblance of support. As well, charging people $14 every time they buy, sell, or return a product is an absurdity these days. I've spent $42 dollars on shipping fees and still have no sneakers! THIS IS A COMPLETE JOKE OF AN EXPERIENCE!
I will never again. Christmas present to small, sorry it need to be requested in 3 day from receipt to request refund, I just want to exchange for larger size, you have to be kidding, they are a rip-off. 1 star was too much for this company.
Unfortunately they got me this time. I ordered two pairs of the Nike Dunk Mineral/Armory Navy, one for my son(Size 11 good condition) and my pair(Size 13 $191) arrived really bad. I waited 2 weeks for them to arrive. Just look at the pics. I received the shoes and immediately noticed that there was a number of imperfections like glue marks in the leather, discolored inner sole and front toe not glued enough.
This was my 4th time ordering from GOAT and based on their refund policy that is store credit minus shipping charges I'll keep the shoe unfortunately BUT I'm not buying and using them again...PERIOD!

Deserves a zero rating. Ordered a pair of shoes for my son, and once we took them out the box we immediately knew they were fake. Almost like they were some sort of cardboard material. GOAT gave me a hard time about the return, so we ultimately ended up keeping. My son wore them one time and they had a crease like he had been wearing them for months. I will NEVER order from them again.
I wish I had found the site before I tried to do business with this company. In my opinion, they are disreputable. I have had a terrible experience with them, refusing to honor their cancellation policy and to accept a refund and return.
