I've had two different situations, one order I purchased the size wrong, instead of women, it was men size, so as soon as received it (didn't even tried them on) I waited for the return label and shipped them back, with my surprise that they contacted me with photos that one of the sneakers didn't had the insole, they blamed it on me that when I tried the shoe it came off. How can an insole be removed by trying a shoe? This could only happen if I had glue on my socks... I was in total shock, I mentioned it was unacceptable and that it was their error, that they sent it without a proper inspection. I ended up paying $15 to them, so they could return back the sneakers to me or the other option was to put them on sale at their website. How was I going to sell a sneaker without an insole? It was really frustrating. Got them back and gave them away.
Second order, (made because I had a credit) need to return shoes, return was authorized but shipping label never sent, I make sure the sneakers are eligible for return and guess what? The support team sends me email indicating it was a final sale and couldn't return. On Sept 6, (10 days ago) I sent an email with a screenshot of the order confirmation were it says that return for site credit is available. Guess what? I was told by then, 09/06/22 the support team will check on that and after two additional emails following up, no replies regarding this claim. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE, NO SUPPORT AT ALL! If I didn't had a credit I wouldn't had ordered from here again. Waiting for this to be over so I can close my account. Really frustrating!
Bought a pair of chucks and got them verified by goat.com before being sent to me. They were worn for one day before the soles started falling off. Had to pay to get them shipped back to review my claim. It got denied and my options were to pay another shipping fee to get the defective shoes back or nothing. I will never use goat.com again. Horrible customer service and accountability.

We bought shoes from NZ. At no time in the purchasing and checkout process was USD mentioned, nor did they convert to NZD. So we paid way more than expected assuming it was NZD. Way now than if we had bought direct from addidas in NZ Unable to return, etc etc. I've emailed them with no response. Who can we complain to?
STAY AWAY. I will never use this company again. Bought a pair of shoes. While not inexpensive was still an OK deal, until they were being shipped and I received notice from the shipper I had to pay huge taxes and duties upon arrival. This was NOT made clear when purchasing and made my purchase way more expensive than I was led to believe. I contacted Goat, and to make it worse they claim they have to place the value for import the actual value, which is high than the price I paid? So this made the duties and taxes even higher than they needed to be. I would never have made this purchase if I'd known this, and definitely never will again. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
I purchased a pair of Nike Dunk High from GOAT. I received the shoes and immediately noticed that there was a number of imperfections, scratches, stains and a permanent dent on the top of one of the shoes. I sent them a message with pictures through their automated system, nothing. I sent 3 more I inquired about the issues with the shoe, nothing. They still have not contacted me back. Definitely learned my lesson about doing business with a company that does allow you to speak with a live person. Save you time and money and stay away from GOAT. Don't pay above retail pricing for crappy shoes! I feel like a was completely scammed.
I purchased a brand new pair of SB dunks thay came very used and worn. They had juice stains on them and rocks in the bottom. The sides are very worn and the color is beyond faded. There creased so bad on the top I won't even wear them. They refuse to give me a refund but want me to come out of pocket to return them and I still won't get my refund back. Save yourself the trouble and absolutely do not buy from them. These shoes are nasty as hell.
I selected the correct size shoe, but was sent the wrong size. A member of the GOAT team confirmed that I had ordered the correct size. But the after sales rejected this, and so will not authorize a return. They said it would be at my expense. Disgraceful. I know 100% that I ordered the correct size. They obviously didn't have it in stock, so sent me the nearest size to it! What a joke. Do not use this company. I have a pair of shoes too small that I can't return. I've wasted nearly 300 euros.
Sold me fake Essentials Fear of God... I have ordered shoes that were also questionable but I figured they checked them but when i ordered my outfit and letters fell off my clothes I knew they were selling fake things. I have other clothes from this brand i purchased other places that were fine but these are fake! I want my money back and im never shopping with them again
I placed an order on GOAT for a rare pair of sneakers (the Nike Metcon 3 Camo size 8.5). A tracking number was provided and upon the day it was marked as delivered, not had been delivered. For context, for all mail to be delivered, the individual making delivery must input an access code to enter the building, and there are cameras on the mailbox area. GOAT does provide a phone number to call anywhere. The way to file a claim is by email. The company will email you a form to complete attached below here. The form asks for you to upload a copy of your photo ID (red flag). The form says you will get store credit. I suspect most sellers that get store credit don't receive the second pair of shoes they order either, and eventually give up on receiving their money. I filed a claim, and will update this post with more information.
What ever you do. DO NOT BUY FROM GOAT.
Here's why:
1. Be careful with TRYING ON THE SHOES you just bought cause they might not except the return and then-again-you're screwed.
2. you have three days to return the items if you miss that window for whatever reason you're screwed.
3. if you want to return the item their website is very poorly managed so if you want to log in and the password doesn't work wait about a week till someone responds to you and then-again-you're screwed because you won't be able to return it.
4. since they DIDN'T except your return now you have an option either to PAY TO DELIVER THE SHOES BACK TO YOU or to get credit. And go trough all that again? I don't think so.
Honestly, from the second I placed the order online everything was just very frustrating it's just not worth it. NOT WORTH IT.
Long story short, I selected and ordered a shoe in one size. When the order went through, it said a different size even though the two sizes were selling for different prices and the price I paid reflected what I ordered. I tried to cancel a minute later and it was automatically rejected. I wrote to them and asked them to cancel the order or at least waive the shipping costs since they weren't able to help me. They essentially said too bad it's sending anyways. I asked them to waive the shipping return costs. They ignored and gaslit me, ultimately saying no too bad. They charged $14.50 to ship but docked $42 from my store credit. I asked them to explain what those charges were and to waive the cost of shipping the correct size to me and if they couldn't do that to refund the full amount to my card. I am on day 16 of being ignored and they are holding my money hostage. Much of this is against the law according to the Federal Trade Commission. I made sure to file a complaint against them with the FTC and BBB. I found their phone number, left voicemails that they don't actually respond to, I submit tickets, write emails, comment and dm on social media. They assume you will cave and pay up their ridiculous unexplained fees because prices are always changing and you don't want to miss out on what you are looking for. They say you can cancel an order up to 3 hours or when they start shipping, whatever is first. Essentially, this means that no matter how soon you cancel, your ability to do so is based on the luck of the draw.
Some may have had positive experiences here if they ordered and received the correct item but beware, if there is any issue with the order- you will pay ridiculous fees even if it is their fault and they will not respond to you or work with you to make sure you are satisfied. It's revealing that they don't respond to complaints people post on their social media out of desperation to talk to someone. Most respectable businesses would be very concerned about a customer complaint in such a public setting. GOAT does not care about the experience of their customer- just their ability to extract money from them and hide when they mess up.
I order size 8 Versace sneaker and they didn't have brand new at the time so they emailed me if I'm interested in buying a used one I refused to accept their offer cause I don't wear used shoe. Then later they send a brad new size 8 sneaker unfortunately that was a bit bigger so I return it and order another size 7.5 before I got the size 8 refund hoping they'll refund my money $500. They send brand new size 7.5 and they said they couldn't process my refund for the first sneaker. When I ask they said the return shoe was dirty, worn and box was damage! I only try the shoe one time for 2 minutes and soon as I realize it was big same day I rerun it, but never got any refund, the sneaker or non of that. It's crazy! The employees are scammers, the company is fraud and the people full of $#*!! This company soon will expose for fraud. Pls be aware and don't shop here. FYI they don't have contact number to call except email and they did that on purpose to scam ppl.
Buyer Beware, Goat Sold me fake Air Jordan 1's. I bought the ones already "authenticated" with instant purchase and shipping, they came in 2 days. The shoes don t sit flat. They rock forward and back like a seesaw. I went against my better judgement trusting this company and I got ripped off. After sending them a video of the shoes rocking and not sitting flat, they offered me $25 GOAT credit if kept them, or a full refund in GOAT credit if I returned them and "they" confirmed there was no new wear marks on them. Seriously, why would I want a credit to buy more fake shoes? Do yourself a favor and stay away from these guys.
I have spent thousands and thousands with goat and lately I have been receiving used, creased and scuffed shoes and a couple fakes and they do nothing about it, they won't refund you or substitute with a new condition shoe or real one, they give a 15$ credit for giving you a 300$ fake or used shoe never,, never use goat there's better a real companies doing good business, go with goat and you'll regret it
I have ordered a slide through them and got a wrong size, completely wore one of it and put it in a box right away, and returned. They denied my return for the reason of "Scuffs and dirty outsoles" and it's proven by their "Specialist". LOL that item is not even out of the box even a minute? Completely a scam company! They did not return my money. In my prior return that they approved, They didnt even return my money rather just give in house credit for you to shop to them again.
I have ordered used sneakers on Goat for $140 plus $40 shipping. After some time I received notice from UPS that I have to pay an additional ~$70 which I was unaware of (small font says there is duty, but doesnt tell you its heavy duty, plus service, plus handling plus storage etc --- don't think this is Amazon --- not even close). I asked UPS to hold up delivery for ONE day (I never refused to take or to pay, just asked the delivery person to ask Customer Service to call me). They immediately aborted the process. I have asked GOAT 6 times on separate emails with 3 agents to resend it from UPS. I called UPS multiple times. NOTHING. They talked, they wrote, but they never delivered. EVER. I wrote them explicitly I'm willing to pay the additional (outragious) fees. NOTHING. Then they refunded $92 dollars. I lost ~$90 and never got the shoes, spent multiple emails and phone calls and time and kid disappointed. I WOULD NEVER BUY AT GOAT AGAIN.
Bought a pair of 2017 Air Max, one week later the sole came off, if you are familiar with this year the entire sole is basically a bubble, 150 bucks wasted for something that was "verified" Please go somewhere else, others have had the same issues
If I could give it zero I will, this is very bad/worst return policy I have ever experienced in my life so far. I had to pay for extra international fees which are not mentioned during the purchase. It is a money grab app. Also I have to pay for both receiving and sending back chipping fees (almost 100$). I highly recommend people to don't use this app or deal with them for any purchase. Honestly this is a very bad app I never used in my life and hope other people don't experience this.
The item (the soccer cleats) has never been delivered to me. Amazon has always taken care of missing items due to the carrier's fault like UPS, Fedex... etc to make it easier for us, but this Goat ask me to do lots of paper works. I don't recommend Goat to anyone. Goat took my money, $95.62 including the item and shipping costs, and I didn't receive the item.
